Mysig stuga, fint välordnat. Värdparet fantastika, vi fick hembakat bröd med egengjord marmelad. Mycket trevligt
Excellent lovely hosts , location and helpful hosts .
Water pressure needs improvement as very low , possibly install a pressurized system would be a good suggestion..
Catriona was a super host, we arrived late but she was there to help us settle in and also provided us some bread, butter, milk and coffee for breakfast. Next time we will definitely come back here. The location is amazing as well, we wish we had more time to explore the area.
Very warm Irish welcome from the host, with lovely homemade bread and jam on arrival, cottage and the garden around the cottage was great for the kids.
Lovely restoration of an old cottage.
Nothing.

Loved the owners couldn't do enough to make your stay as pleasant as possible and place.. Had a wonderful relaxing stay.. We both felt very safe as two ladies travelling on our own.. Thank you both..
There was nothing we didn't like at all . Wonderful place..
Everything. The hosts very welcoming and kind. The cottage is very nice and comfortable with lovely gardens perfect for a relaxing stay. The scenery is amazing and we would love to return soon.
Nothing, we even got fabulous weather all week
Loads of things. The 'feel' of An Bothán was the main thing....gorgeous space.
Nothing!

The property was lovely and clean. The host was amazing and didn’t mind the kids running around investigating the fabulous gardens and the view after travelling for a few hours.
Absolutely nothing
Lovely little cosy cottage only a few mins drive from Carlingford, beautiful views and the host Caitríona was a lady very welcoming and accommodating
Nothing I will be back very soon
Fantasic location. Hosts were lovely and the fresh bread a great touch!
Perfect 1 night location, very cosy. The freshly baked bread, with jams and milk was a lovely treat
A loaf of fresh, homemade bread awaited me!
We were able to find the property with no issues. Caitriona had already opened the property gate and met us as we drove in and showed us the around the cute cottage, situated in a beautiful mountain setting. We had a wonderful conversation with Caitriona when we arrived. I wish we had more time to chat with her. The cottage was clean and very comfortable. It had everything we needed for the first night of our trip. A warm cozy bed and hot shower and sitting room to relax in. Given more time, we would have enjoyed the fireplace. The fresh baked bread was lovely and we enjoyed it for a couple days for breakfast as we began our tour around the island.
Nothing to add here. I would stay in the future and recommend it to others.
An bothan Cottage in the Cooley Mountains is a beautiful cottage with modern facilities inside and breathtaking scenery. We loved it so much last week when we were here we had to come back before going home to Australia. Our host Caitríona had warm home made Irish Soda Bread and delicious Jam with milk and butter and welcomed us on our arrival. Communication with Caitriona was fantastic and we enjoyed the cosy warm fire in the evening Highly recommend and when we come back again we will definitely stay longer. 10/10
Merci
Everything, you couldn't ask for more. The cottage was super cosy, well equipped and secure. The scenery around was breathtaking. The owners were so lovely and even had fresh brown bread, jam and milk for us. Highly recommend.
Leaving it🤣
Loved the old Irish cottage feel with all of the modern conveniences for a cosy stay. The sun shone for us all day and then having the stove fire in the evening really was the "icing on the cake". The hosts were very welcoming and provided lots of useful tips for places to visit which we thoroughly enjoyed.
It was cosy and had everything we needed . We loved the scone bread and the jam - what a lovely touch 😊
The property was cosy and quaint for an overnight stay along our route. The freshly baked bread was such a nice treat and the with the host being nearby when we asked for something, was so happy to oblige and pop over!

It was a beautiful space, it had everything we needed and more, we will definitely be back, gorgeous surroundings and the most nicest hosts, the walk into the village was amazing
The hosts provided us with some lovely homemade bread and jam, which was a very welcome treat! Plenty of great recommendations in the handy guidebook, which directed us to a local fish shop where we could buy more delicious food.
The whole stay exceeded our expectations. Just wish we could have stayed longer!
An absolute gem. From the warm welcome at the gate to the friendly chat before we left, everything was absolutely perfect with our stay at An Bothan. The homemade bread and jam was a lovely touch and went down a delight with a cup of tea beside the fire as the rain fell outside. Hidden away from the hustle and bustle it is a perfect retreat for a break. All in all a 10/10 experience.
That we didn't stay longer.

If the new bridge was finished!
The host was so friendly and hospitable. She showed us around the apartment upon arrival (even though we arrived later than expected!) and went above and beyond. She had made fresh bread and jam, which were both lovely, and was very nice to our kids too. Would recommend to anyone looking to visit this part of the country!
What a fantastic little cottage, we arrived & were greeted by Brian, who showed us around. His wife had baked us fresh bread & it was accompanied by homemade jam 😋 A perfect base for exploring different part's of Ireland, we'll most definitely be booking in for a longer stay in future!

The location was stunning
La casa es muy bonita y acogedora. Está muy limpia y ordenada. La propietaria es maravillosa. Es muy atenta y facilita todo. Además habla español. Repetiremos!!! Un beso enorme desde Madrid.
Beautiful accommodation and area relaxing and tranquil will definitely be back
No complaints at all everything was spot on
Everything
Lovely host who welcomed us with fabulous homemade bread, helpful information etc. Very nice cottage, quiet and beautifully located. Happy we found it, even if only for one night
Nice place with beautiful views and friendly host.
Everything - all the rooms are cosy, beautifully refurbished but retaining a quirky modern Irish charm. There is an ensuite as well as a toilet/shower room, both of which have a high level of finish. The kitchen has everything you need. The beds are very comfortable. The views from the garden are beautiful. Last but not least the delicious homemade bread and jam. Lovely hosts who are interesting to talk to and provide leaflets on multiple activities and places to see in the area.
Nothing.
Die nette Begrüssung mit selbstgebackenen Brot und selbstgemachter Marmelade
Beautiful location, with stunning scenery. Cottage was cosy and wish we had stayed longer!
Camere confortevoli e pulite.
Lovely little retreat. Very quiet and Catriona was a lovely host and made us hot bread and couldn’t do enough for us.

Great host with lots of recommendations
That we couldn't stay longer 😎
The cottage was lovely. It was really peaceful and the views were amazing. As for the homemade bread and jam they were just delicious. The bed was really comfortable and the accommodation was really clean. We will definitely return in the future. Highly recommended
Nothing at all. I wish we had stayed longer.
Nice quaint cottage, lovely area surrounded by mountains. Home made loaf left with a local jam. Use of the whole cottage and gardens. Well maintained. Book provided of local activities, food places, bike hire and many taxi firms. Was.able.to.isw.the washing machine, amenities states there is an airer but it's a clothes line outside.
Would have helped if the name of the cottage was outside the gates as pulled up then drove off as Google maps was not keen on the address. Beds were not made up, the booking was for three adults, refers to a futon bed as well as sofa bed, yet only mattress were seen under the double bed and on a high wardrobe. Not sure where an extra bed would have been put up. No instructions for the sofa bed, very uncomfortable even to sit on. The ensuite the drainage is slow for the basin and ahower-still a large puddle on the floor in the morning As the sofa bed was used there needs to be curtains on the doors, kitchen window and skylight (cannot reach the cord to close the blind) as daylight is 4am so unsettled night trying to sleep.as too light. Not sure why two wet rooms one could be a small bedroom.
Beautiful little cottage in the mountains. A real home from home , hosts where very friendly and welcoming.

Home away from home. A special find in a lovely quiet location in a beautiful scenic area.. Everything we needed was provided and the homemade brown bread and jam was delicious. Caitriona couldn't be .more welcoming and helpful. I couldn't recommend.this place enough. We are looking forward to a return visit
The "cozy cottage" is secretively located within a private thicket of trees, surrounded by country fields that gently overlook the shimmering sea. Approached via a curving driveway that opens to the manicured cottage grounds with idyllic views, it's delightfully presented. Around back there's a short trail through the wooded grounds with wee folk things and happy birds and fat bees. Inside the cottage is everything one needs to feel and believe they actually live in a forested refuge, and to do so in comfort and style as all facilities are updated including 2 cool showers big enough to twirl in, kitchen essentials, comfortable bed, the toasty fireplace and outdoor patio. Hosts Catriona and Brian are kind and attentive in addition to great conversationalists. With luck (much to be found here), we'll be back soon and often.
That I don't have another 100 years or so to dream about and plan visits to here.
Very nice location, beautiful views, nature, very nice owners.
The location was very nice quiet scenic tucked away in a secluded area, hosts very good helpful and very friendly and courteous.
Wasn't nothing wrong didn't like a wee sign near the bottom of the lane but we found it with out much trouble with help from a neighbor
Very friendly welcome. Beautiful cottage in lovely gardens. Lovely views very nearby. Great location. Great facilities . Very peaceful.
Wish we had been staying for more than one night!
What a dream Stay, the owners are so kind and genuine.Loved them and the place...sheer Heaven.
Everything was amazing 😁

The location was beautiful. The property was stunning and cozy. We only had a short stay but could've spent the entire week there just curled up with books and tea by the fire and enjoying the surrounding property. Caitriona was an amazing host and so welcoming to our family. Truly our best stay during our entire trip.
Everything about this property is wonderful. From start to finish we had a fabulous and peaceful stay. The hosts were wonderful. The property has everything you need and more. Little details throughout was very much appreciated. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
There is nothing I didn't like.
We had a lovely stay an An Bothan-Cosy. It was be far the best accommodation that we stayed at in our Irish holiday. Thanks to Caitriona for being a lovely host, for our conversations and helpful tourist site information.
Everything was perfect 😍
It was extremely cute and modern at the same time. We loved that fresh bread and jam was left for us. We loved the location and the little cats around the outside property.
I think one of the shower drains was clogged, but I forgot to mention it to the host. It was fine though.
Our stay at this charming cottage was absolutely wonderful! The house itself was cozy and beautifully maintained, offering a stunning view that made every moment special. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality made us feel at home from the very first day. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with breathtaking scenery and warm-hearted hosts, this is the perfect place. We can’t wait to come back!

We loved everything about this beautiful cottage, it is a hidden gem that we feel very lucky to have found. We didn’t want to leave and will most definitely be returning very soon. Home from home. Caitriona the host was lovely, the fresh bread and jam went down a treat. My son and niece loved Seamus the donkey and the chickens. Thank you for such a lovely stay.
We arrived at the cottage from a walk on the windy gap , it was cold and grey but our grandson wanted to see the mountains. Catríona our host showed great kindness and knowledge in explaining the mountains to our grandson, then into the warmth of the cottage ,passed by the abundance of aromatic rosemary growing by the door . The cottage was immediately warm and cosy , Catríona had baked a fresh wheaten loaf and a pot of homemade blackberry jam to greet us . ( There is nothing more comforting than a slice of wheaten just cooled and jam like your mammy used to make ❤️) . The beds were very comfortable and all slept well. Everything was spotless and well kept . A little gem of a place set in the Cooley mountains handy to Omeath and Carlingford. Highly recommended . We will definitely return.
It was a beautiful cottage, so cosy and comfortable, spotless clean.. brilliant location Carlingford less than 10mins away.. would defo stay again 😊
I’d of liked to relax and watch tv, it was disappointing there was no tv.. not the biggest deal either..
What a find, a beautiful cottage and we were exceptionally well looked after by the hosts. Will definitely be back!
The family and hosts are lovely. The views and facilities is excellent can't fault anything we for sure would stay again Great views and not far from the stunning carlingford village and short drive to Dundalk
When we arrived there was a lovely wood fire stove burning, it was a perfect welcome. The accommodation exceeded our expectations, it was cosy, a comfortable bed, great bathrooms and the kitchen had everything needed for perfect stay. The host Catríona was brilliant, very friendly with lots of helpful information and she also left us homemade brown bread and jams, delicious. We will definitely be back to explore more around the area.
The cottage itself was beautiful, the setting ideal for what we wanted, and the wheaten bread was absolutely fantastic

Traditional old cottage with a modern fit out providing the charm of the Irish rural life with the all the mod cons you need👌🏼 But the best part was the hosts. Felt like I was visiting a relative 💚 Just naturally lovely, informal, welcoming people. We actually arrived on Christmas Day because we were attending a very large family gathering locally. We were greeted with a freshly baked, still warm delicious loaf of homemade brown bread! I doubt they do that for every guest but seeing as though all the shops were closed and we had young kids with us, they clearly wanted to ensure we were well looked after.
I’m a sucker for crisp white sheets and fluffy white towels when I stay somewhere but I imagine they are a nightmare to maintain so I understand why they wouldn’t be in every room I stay in
The property location. The warm and friendly host. The exceptional care taken to make our stay comfortable and home baked bread and jam on arrival.
