Reviewed Jul 1, 2025Rural, peaceful countryside near a tiny village, sweet cows and their calves in the pasture next door.
No amenities close by--we had to drive into town for dinner and shopping needs. A car is a must. We had trouble locating the property but the owner quickly met us in the village and guided to her house. For some reason I thought we rented the whole house but instead it was the just top floor--a converted attic. A wee bit cozy, but okay.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2023Comfortable rooms, which were clean and fresh, and smelt lovely. Outside was relaxing and beautiful views of the countryside. Was 5 min drive from town, and the local tesco.
Perhaps a full sized door at the top of the stairs, just to give a sense of separation. But this was really a non-event, and there was not much else to not enjoy about the property.

Reviewed Jul 20, 2023My friends and I stayed at Aduff Lodge and our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. All upstairs were for us, 3 beautifully decorated rooms, one with ensuite. The host was extremely friendly and welcoming. Heating and air conditioning was available to us, had the use of kitchen facilities also. This was great to see as I'm not a fan of hotels which are so hot it is impossible to sleep! I would recommend anyone wanting to stay in Carrick on Shannon to stay here, the host had taxi numbers available for taxis in and out to town. Thanks for a great stay!

The house was lovely and warm when we arrived, just what you need after a long day of travelling! It was absolutely perfect, we loved everything about it.

Reviewed Sep 19, 2022I brought my 2 kids for a few days as we had never been before and it was our first time staying in an air bnb. We had all upstairs to ourselves and so much room. It was beautiful and modern and had all facilities. My kids had their own rooms and they loved it. It was the cleanest place I have ever stayed in and would recommend it to any couple or family. The host was a lady. She was very friendly and very helpful.
It's was very hot at night but there was air conditioning units which we didn't realise until 2nd night.
