Nothing at all

Its not secure.even to open the gate they use hands. There is no security to the parking in basement. As a foreigner i couldnt sleep there but had to book somewhere else and leave because as a foreinger using forein plate number u need a safe place. The place need serious security more so that its next to the club. The place is very noisy Its not clean at all and even the smell inside is horrible. No reception but use a guard who open the gate as a receptionist. I fill cheated more so that when i got to the rooms it was a NO and had to leave there nd there. If posible id need my refund

It is well built and rooms are spacious though some bathrooms are tiny

The house is spacious and accommodated my family well. It is also close to shopping centres, the university and the tennis courts of which we went for a rennis tournament.

The location is bad...theres literally a night club next door and we didnt feel safe as we were woth kids. Also, the other guests are allowed to play music and make noise in the apartments until early hours of the morning.

I only liked the comfy of the bed and Hot water running from the shower.

-We booked for four people, but our apartment didn’t have enough cutlery, Plates, cups etc for all 4 of us. -The kettle was not working in room/apartment 310. -Our Apartment was not clean, we didn’t have a TidyUp sign, so we can place it outside for them(Housekeeper’s) to clean. -TV not working.

My other guests complains about noise on their level. The apartments were also not adequately stocked with the correct amount of sugar or number of utensils and glasses needed.

Wish we could have stayed longer, would recommend to everyone. Especially a family, or couple or even a group of friends.

Wow, it reminded me of the Next To I knew when it first opened some years ago. We had such a wonderful stay, everything was very clean, better than expected, friendly staff. Definitely fell in love again with Next To.

good location - the reservation was for a High School netball group who played matches at nearby schools everyday.

The hotel does not offer a shuttle bus service

It's so good, I keep coming back. Beautiful, clean place. Great and quiet location. Centrally placed close to CBD and Menlyn. Easily accessible, not much traffic.

Ididnt like to find left overs in the microwave🤮🤮 from previous occupants. The noise from our neighbors.. when i ask the security to ask thrm to keep it down. She simple said "they are having fun". The fun as far as 2am🥺🥹🥹

The place is esthetically pleasing.

I had booked a room with a balcony, but when i arrived, they said those rooms were occupied. Why are they advertising rooms that aren't available? The room was very dusty. It looked like it wasn't cleaned and hadn't been occupied in ages, and there were dirty socks under the bed( definite proof that it wasn't cleaned). Some of the lights were not working , the washing machine had streaks of washing powder( on the floor and on it), there was missing cutlery, plates, etc. The unit did not have a iron, had to go the receiption to ask for one. The iron i was given looked like it had been through the most in life, it had black burn streams and it almost burned my clothes( they could have at least clean it) You can't watch TV because apparently there's some cable that's needed and only Youtube worked. They promised a shower and some stuff in the shower, and none of that was there. For the amount of money i paid, the place definitely isn't worth it. Did i mention that the apartment was dirty?

Horrible staff treatment, cleaners address guests anyhow, some days they dont come clean the apartment, the building didn't have water for a week during our stay. It was a bad experience for us and a waste of money as we booked for a very long horrible stay. Nothing was ever resolved which we had issues with and we never met the manager to attend to our issues. Worst stay I've ever had. The staff is the worst

The concrete floors pick up all the noise, from people chatting to loud music going late Saturday night /Sunday morning which really disrupted our sleep. Do think ypur security team need to be more strict afround that

It was safe

Noise levels there were guys who threw a party next door and making noise the whole night. When we checked in we were first given the wrong room. The receptionist corrected it when we went to her but was not friendly and said we were “lucky” there was a room available when the mistake was on their side.

It’s on the main road, you can’t miss it. The basement parking was good. The varsity bakery’s good was good. The rooms themselves are beautiful.

Improve the floors. Install wall sound proofs. Barricade the fence with wall to avoid noise from outside the area

We stayed at this apartment recently and there were definitely some positives: the place was very clean, the location was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

On the downside, the walls are quite thin so we could hear a lot of noise from other rooms, which made it difficult to sleep at night. Also, the elevator stopped working on the second day of our stay, which was inconvenient.

It’s miserably loud. From the tenants playing loud music, to people talking loudly in the corridors to the old piping that seems to announce that it’s still working whenever someone flushes the toilet or takes a shower. It really feels like you hear everything. Another thing; the combination of their firm bed and their high pillows were the perfect recipe for a restless night (aside from the noise issue already mentioned). I think Next To should just be an apartment space solely for tenants; or at least have a designated space for its visiting guests, away from the tenants.
