Muchos mosquitos aun teniendolo todo cerrado. Los gallos no paran de cantar a todas horas, todas. Nuestra habitacion estaba un poco alejada y el wifi iba muy lento o no teniamos.

Había muchos insectos, hormigas, cucarachas y demás… inodoro antiguo, La piscina nunca pudimos usarla Pues estaba súper sucia y sin mantenimiento.

Les photos ne réflètent pas la réalité...Nous y avons passé 1 nuit...sans dormir malgrè les boules quiès. Chiens et coqs en continu. (appartement près de la route). Eau brulante puis froide en alternance...aspect négligé de l'appartement, sombre. L'extérieur pourrait être charmant mais une impression d'abandon subsiste et de mauvais entretien. La piscine est ...trop sale ... et le prix trop élevé . Vraiment déçus !

The rooms were clean, bit outdated, but cold a/c and comfy beds. Nice touch to have coffee maker and a bit of espresso for us to enjoy coffee in the morning.
Outdated & not kept up. Bushes and trees needed a good trimming. The trees were so unruly we were unable to enjoy the view.

Reviewed Mar 1, 2026Lee esto ; Si eres alguien que de verdad quieres tener un lugar para quedarte con lo necesario y conocer jarabacoa y no eres una persona que se queja por todo y eres humilde. Excelente ubicación, es literal 3 minutos del centro del pueblo, súper tranquilo y el señor anfitrión muy amable y te da recomendaciones para visitar lugares. Buen lugar para tenerlo de base y salir a explorar, en esa misma ruta está el salto de Jimenoa 1 menos de 15 minutos y salto de Baiguate por igual. La zona es segura, yo salí solo a las 6 AM a ejercitarme en caminata y habían más personas ejercitándose durante el camino.

No me gustó el baño estaba defectuoso el inodoro estaba como flojo uno se sentaba y se movía las lleva de las duchas rotas el techo un poco deteriorado de las habitaciones la televisión dañada las puertas un poco deteriorada también corrigiendo todo eso el lugar es bien lindo y acogedor perfecto para conectar con la naturaleza y desestresarse de la rutina

The sink is too small in the bathroom and the shower too low. For a one night stay it was fine with me. It was difficult regulate the hot water in the shower. Otherwise, no issues. The host was very nice and made good suggestions on restaurants and fun activities to do in the area.

You really need a car if you are going to stay here. The location is a 20 minute walk (at least) away from everything. He only accepts cash, which is a huge problem if you don't have it because you have to go into town for the closest one. Bring ear plugs because the roosters start at 6am. Obviously can't fault him for that but it's just a warning

Reviewed Sep 1, 2024The hotel was beautiful and cozy. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The common areas were comfortable and had a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help.
The hotel had some significant issues that affected our stay. There was a lot of noise, making it hard to relax. The toilet in our room didn’t flush properly, and the shower drain was not fully functional, causing water to pool. Overall, the price is too high for what they offer.

Reviewed Feb 8, 2024Really nice and clean apartment with AC, small kitchen and balcony. There is a peaceful garden area with pool and place to chill, available to all guests. The host is very nice and he helped us with recommendations for activities, restaurants and things to do in the area. Apartment is only a walking distance away from center, where you can find supermarket, bars and restaurants.

It was a little noisy as people shared by the pool. I thought it would be more quiet, but not a big deal. I would definitely return and recommend this place.

Reviewed Jul 10, 2023We spent 3 lovely nights at El Yaguacil. Victor was very welcoming and provided us with plenty of recommendations for visiting. The place itself is clean and furnished with the basics for a few days, especially if you do not want to go out for dinner (Netflix is also available on the TV). The hotel is very peaceful (really offer the possibility to disconnect) and well located (a few minutes drive from city center). Whether it's inside or outside, at breakfast with a cup of coffee or evening with a glass of wine, we enjoyed very much this place!
The bathroom could benefit from a small makeover (e.g. the shower wasn't draining properly)

We really enjoyed the calm and peaceful environment of Jarabacoa, and this reflected itself on this apartment. The host only spoke Spanish but really did his best to be helpful and gave us all the information required for our stay there. We received a complete list of activities via WhatsApp. The room itself was clean and all the facilities mentioned were available.
Nothing really, however just a small tip. Bring a musquito net and some repellent

It's also located a short walk from town, we walked in and out of town every day for meals and activities. There has been lots of effort and time put into the garden and it's a very peaceful place to be. It's kept very clean and is lovely.
Whilst we stayed, some of the other guests were quite loud until very late in the night - unfortunately this did keep us up.
