Reviewed Jul 8, 2026Самое прекрасное в этом отеле -вид и расположение. Очень удобно, что прям около здания выход из метро. Кроме того номер был двухкомнатный, что тоже добавило + к комфорту. Стиральная машина в номере тоже очень удобно.
Несмотря на наличие плиты нет абсолютно никакой посуды. Если вы рассчитываете готовить - не получится.

Reviewed May 18, 2026The breakfast was lovely and traditional. Location was great as there was a shuttle bus to the Canton Fair. There was a breathtaking view in a quiet location. The steam room and sauna were the best ever experienced and the large spa pool was so relaxing. The gym was also awesome!
The food from the restaurant was disappointing and you had to catch a taxi to find good eating options. The only negative was that there were not many food options close by except for Star Bucks, MacDonalds and 7 Eleven (not always open), but I guess you can't have it all.

Nearby is a promenade where you can run or have a walk
There are no normal restaurants nearby for dinner, I don't consider sandwiches from McDonald's or Starbucks to be normal food but for property in general - all good.

Nice staff. comfortable big bed, decent gym. well kitted out.It was good value becaise despite the demand for breakfast they didn't inflate the price like a lot of other hotels at Spring Festival in Guangzhou.
It was Chinese New.Year and the breakfast restaurant couldn't cope with demand. Plates and cutlery constantly running out, waiting for tables, no latte available from coffee machine. limited choice of cereals.cold milk was a carton put in some iced water. They didn't have a competent manager to handle the demand. I'm guessing that person went back their hometown. Be aware the hotel is on a small island with very convenient subway but as it's.mainly an industrial park there's nothing much going on and stores and restaurants all closed except for McDonalds. Subway to shopping malls. one station up. about 10 minutes.

Das Frühstück ist "sehr überschaubar". Kaum Obst. Wenig Gemüse und Brot. Teilweise fehlten über längere Zeit die Kaffeetassen! Einige Gäste nahmen sich die ausgewählten Speisen mit den Fingern vom Buffet um dann festzustellen, dass sie diese nun doch nicht möchten und legen es mit Ihren Fingern wieder zurück an den Platz von dem sie es genommen haben. Das ist einfach "ekelhaft". Das Frühstück war damit beendet!

Die Matratzen sind sehr hart, die Geräte im Fitnessraum schon in die Jahre gekommen, die Zimmer riechen nach kaltem Rauch ob wohl Rauchen verboten ist wird trotzdem geraucht, da die Gardinen gelb sind. Ich werde wohl nächstes mal ein anderes Hotel buchen.

Reviewed Oct 28, 2025El hotel esta ubicado en una zona estrategica para quienes viajan a la feria de Canton, cuenta con un desayuno con opciones de todo tipo (como cualquier hotel occidental), en la entrada del hotel hay un McDonald y un Starbucks pero igualmente el hotel cuenta con gran desayuno y hay opcion de cenar en el restorán del hotel, el personal muy amable y predispuesto, no dominan bien el idioma pero hacen todo lo posible por entenderte y ayudarte. Otro punto destacado es la estacion de metro, que esta justo a la salida del hotel y es una gran opcion no solo para ir a la feria (son 10 minutos reales) si no, que tambien es la mejor opcion para moverse tanto a centros de atraccion, fabricas e incluso una vez que aprendes como funciona al aeropuerto! y cualquier opcion por menos de 1 dolar usd. El hotel esta ubicado dentro de una isla que tiene una ciclovia en todo su alrededor y es ideal para caminar o hacer deporte, la seguridad es otro punto a favor de la zona, por ultimo indicar que la recepcion esta en el piso 47. Super recomendable!
No tengo puntos negativos, se podria mejorar tal vez la oferta de la cena, es muy simple pero cumple. Lo demas muy bien.

Mr. Thomas Li, part of the guest services team at Somerset Bio-Island Guangzhou, made my two-week stay in 2025 exceptional. His warm, professional demeanor and fluent English made everything seamless at this modern serviced apartment on Guangzhou’s International Bio-Island. He ensured a smooth check-in and shared practical tips, like navigating the metro from nearby Guanzhou station. His standout moment was arranging a last-minute airport shuttle to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport for my flight. There’s nothing I didn’t like about the property, but after my check out, the hotel called to say their coffee spoon has gone missing, which I found very disappointing. I couldn’t take anything but a coffee spoon 😂. I also didn’t like the fact that, they brought us utensils and they wrote it in Chinese, how can I read what has been given to me, what if they wrote something on the receipt which I didn’t have in my room? 🤔

Reviewed May 8, 2025Location is perfect with very convenient shuttle bus to Canton fair, just a few minutes away. Our appartment (3 bed rooms, 2 bath rooms in 48th flloor) was very spacious. Kitchen has small equipment for cooking but good enough, we didn't need anything more then was was provided. Also washing machine and dryer were very usefull. We got new, clean towels every day, eventhough it was not needed. The place is very quiet and relaxing. I was very happy also with the hotel staff, and did not have any bad experience with non English speaking hotel personal. Especially Mrs. Maggie was very helpfull when we needed to go souvenier shopping, she adviced us cool places to go and recommended what to buy and took care about taxi. Thank you very much! It was really pleasure!
Based on other guests feedback, I think the breakfast was not so bad. The selection is not as wide as in other hotel comparing to more expensive places in Guangzhou. The fact is that the dinning place is quiet small, especially during the Canton fair it was very crowded in the morning time, that was a bit annoying. But if you get up early and go for it at 7 am, you'll be happy ;-) I'd appreciate more fruit, that was missing, but everybody has different preferences...
