Great location walking distance to the beach.

I noticed that the shower handle was loose (not broken) which I showed to the housekeeper at check in. I also informed the owner and was appalled when I received a series of accusatory and intimidating messages from the owner who accused us of breaking the ‘tap’. I have never experienced such hostility anywhere else. The owner also accused me of being disrespectful towards the housekeeper which is untrue. I tried to speak to the owner to explain that I pointed out the defect at check in but he refused to speak to me and repeatedly suggested that we should leave despite having paid in advance. He also demanded that I pay for a new ‘tap’ which we didn’t break. This behaviour has caused us much distress so cannot recommend this place.

I had a great time with my family there. It was close to the beach and supermarket. The moment I walked in, the maid (Rekha) made me feel very comfortable . She made sure I had everything I needed for my stay. The place was very nice and clean. I couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. I would definitely come back with my family again. I wish you all the very best in the future.

To be honest, I didn't see any problems. Everything was perfect for me.

Had a wonderful 2 nights stay, accommodation close to the beach , clean and friendly staff

Very clean and quite big rooms kitchen and bathroom area was so big. 2 rooms makes it ideal for families. The housekeeper lady was very nice person always glad to help and she kept the apartment and outside area soo clean thank you Mrs reka for your help kindness and Cleanliness

Apartment was in a good location and. We found it easy to get in with good instructions.

On first impression it just lacked a comfortable area to sit and relax. This was the garden apartment. On further use it became apparent that there was no hot water in the kitchen and bathroom sinks there wasn't even any plumbing for it although the owner has since repeatedly denied it!. There was a shower with lots of hot water. Several other things were pointed out to the owner such as non working electrical outlets and ceiling fan. The furniture is very tired with a wobbly table and uncomfortable lumpy cushions on the wicker chairs. The owner point blank refuses to accept these items highlighted and has even resorted to insulting us in private messages on WhatsApp. We weren't after 5* we just expected clean and comfortable with the fundamentals such as hot water to wash and shave.

Séjour extrêmement décevant et loin de ce qui était annoncé. Dès la première nuit, j’ai découvert des crottes tombées directement sur le lit. J’ai immédiatement averti le propriétaire. Le lendemain, la femme de ménage m’a expliqué que ces déjections ne venaient pas de rongeurs, mais d’oiseaux qui se posent sur le toit en tôle. Les plaques ne sont pas correctement jointes, ce qui laisse passer les excréments dans la chambre. J’ai dû déplacer le lit pour éviter d’en recevoir pendant la nuit, ce qui est totalement inacceptable pour un logement censé être habitable. Le surlendemain encore des crottes sur le lit. Le bruit est aussi un vrai problème. Toute la nuit, on entend les oiseaux ou peut-être des chauves-souris atterrir sur le toit en métal, ce qui provoque un vacarme continu. À cela s’ajoutent les chiens du voisinage qui aboient jour et nuit, rendant le repos très difficile. La vue annoncée dans l’annonce n’a absolument rien à voir avec la réalité. Les photos publiées sur Booking ne correspondent pas à ce que nous avons découvert sur place, et j’ai des photos pour le prouver. Je ne les mets pas toute mais bon je vous laisse imaginer Nous avons tout de même essayé de rester, mais au bout de quatre nuits, nous avons fini par partir car les conditions étaient trop mauvaises. Le propriétaire envoyait des messages insistants, parfois menaçants, ce qui a rendu l’expérience encore plus désagréable lorsque nous avons voulu négocier un départ. Je déconseille fortement cet hébergement. Rien ne correspondait aux attentes, ni au confort minimal que l’on peut raisonnablement attendre d’un logement

La villa est proche de la plage. Le hôte est toujours disponible. Le séjour s'est très bien passé. Villa recommandée.

Nice place

Location is fantastic

We stayed on the ground floor, which was quite spacious and comfortable for our family of three. The washing machine was a great convenience, allowing us to easily keep up with laundry during our stay. The kitchen was well-stocked, making it easy to prepare meals for our 8-9 day trip. One of the highlights was how responsive the owner was—just a message away whenever we needed anything. However, be mindful that Google Maps might not lead you directly to the property. I recommend using the coast road for more accurate directions. If you’re planning an 8-day vacation like we did, this place is perfect for exploring the northern part of the area and going places with your rented vehicle at your comfortable pace. For a broader itinerary covering the east, west, and south, you might want to consider staying in different locations to minimize travel time

Please note, none of the floors are sea facing. However, the beaches are at a walkable distance. So don’t worry. I mean, that’s as far as you get with this cost. Please note the water and electricity is connected so if there is a power cut you’ll face water problems. This is rare, but an fyi.

Very near to the beach

The lication very near the public beach, the nearby supermarket and restaurants. I would recommend.

The building facing Baleau Villa is unfortunately a bit of an eye sore but that is outside the scope of the host.

Really well appointed apartment 2 minutes from Winners supermarket for all your supplies and only 5 minutes to the local beach. Good wifi regular housekeeping comfy bed. Owner made sure I had all the info that I needed.

The appartement was comfortable, enough space and very clean. To restaurants, supermarket and public beach was reached in 5 minutes walk.

The location is great!

It started off with the host saying that he was unable to Whatsapp me because I had an international number and couldn't whatsapp me to arrange check-in. Surely 99% of people staying have international numbers. An email would've worked. On my first night at 11pm, while I was in bed alone, the host came INTO the apartment without knocking and walked to the bedroom because he saw the aircon was on. I find this unacceptable, and I felt extremely unsafe. What if I was female. Or naked / showering etc... He also gave me grief about using the aircon. The stove doesn't work. Facilities are quite run-down and dirty. There were tons of ants and cockroaches - the host had to buy me insect-spray. I just didn't get a very nice feeling staying there.

The location was perfect, the beach was just a 5 min walk and so was the supermarket. The apartment was standard but it had all the facilities we required for our short stay. The owner was just a call away in case we needed anything which was also great!

Parking is a bit tight but this isn’t a major issue

Very good location. 100m of the main street, quiet place to sleep. Shopping across the street. Good variety of restaurants in walking distance. Beach is very near. The appartement is clean (and gets cleaned), room and toilette/shower have a good size, kitchen is small (means: cleaning the dishes, has to be done by one person, which was me!), but has everything you need for a holiday.

SECURE ENVIRONMENT, CLEANLINESS, KINDNESS OF THE OWNER AS WELL AS THE MAID, THE LOCATION WAS IDEAAL FOR THE BEACH AND , SUPERMARKETS AS WELL AS LOTS OF RESTAURANTS.

BUIDING UNDER CONSTRUCTION IN THE OPPOSITE ROAD SO WAS A BIT NOISY DURING THE DAY.

Extremley clean compared to other places we stayed on the island that even had a higher rating. So close to the beach, cheap food and supermarket opposite. Easy access to grand baie as well. If you are young the nightclubs Safari and oh my god are walking distance. Ground floor was nice with easy access. Owner organised and helped us through a cyclone which hit the island when we had no where to go. Any request we made was catered for. At the end of the day , you dont come to this loveley island and stay in hence for us complete luxury is not an issue. Cleanliness, functioning air con and comfy beds, supportive proprieter is all you need.

Three-storey building housing several holiday flats set in a lush green garden. Located in a quiet residential area on a side street 3 min from Pereybère beach. We were lucky to be given the spacious top-floor apartment which is bright and airy (windows going to all sides) and has a large terrace with a nice view of the garden. The owner and the housekeeper are very nice and responsive. Fast wi-fi. Parking space available. Good value for money.

The bed in one of the two bedrooms is a bit rickety, and some of the bathroom fixtures could do with an upgrade (difficult to adjust waterflow of the washbasin tap).

Great Location - 4 minutes by walking to the beach and 4 min to the supermarket. Nevertheless quiet - no noise from the beach (and it can be very annoying, especially on weekends!) or main road. The apartment was very spacious - it can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people. Very clean! The cleaning ladies are very motivated and the owner put a lot of attention to cleanliness. Possibility to wash clothes free of charge. If you are lucky, you'd catch up with the owner, who occupies the apartment in the upper floor and he would cook for you - a very friendly guy and an excellent cook. He also gives barbecue parties to his guests from time that time - I didn't experience one, but saw pics 🥳 The place is mostly booked by retired people from Europe, so is generally quiet. Good wifi, although it tends to get slow if you work with big amounts of data (I did, as I worked remotely).

The property is not in the best condition from outside (renovation planned in the next months). Don't expect a good view or a beautiful garden full of tropical plants - the view will be over the half ruin of a building opposite to the property. For some reason the cleaning ladies didn't accept the idea of hand towels, I never got one. After having asked a couple of times, I gave up. The only huge towel I got was not easy to change - either there were no dry ones at the moment or for whatever other reason. There is an improvement potential there.
