This was a very nice accommodation. There were good facilities and the bed was really comfortable. It was spacious and great value for money. It was close to the airport and they sorted transfer for us, however, it was more expensive than an uber would have been, but was more convenient than waiting for an uber early in the morning. It is close to the airport so this is good. The restaurant was nice, the restaurant staff were lovely and the food was good value for money. The accommodation staff were helpful and friendly. We would stay here again when travelling to/from the airport.

There is nothing covering the bathroom window so people can look in from outside and considering this is on the ground floor, I feel it is important for the window to be covered.

Nos encantó nuestra estancia. La habitación era muy cómoda, moderna y estaba todo muy limpio y cuidado. El baño también estaba genial y se notaba que el alojamiento está bastante nuevo. Cenamos en el restaurante y la comida estuvo muy buena. Además, el propietario fue muy amable y nos trató fenomenal desde nuestra llegada. Una opción perfecta para alojarse cerca del aeropuerto. Repetiríamos sin duda.

El alojamiento está muy muy bien; no solo por la amabilidad y cercanía del personal, sino también por la ubicación cerca del aeropuerto y el cuidado de la habitación. Nos prepararon una cena en el restaurante de la azotea y estaba todo muy rico. Nos gustó mucho que la habitación fuese grande y el baño también con ducha y bañera. El personal nos ayudó en todo momento incluso con problemas no relacionado con el hotel y nos llevaron al aeropuerto.

Transit Studio Hotel is an excellent option for long layovers, located just around 15 minutes from Colombo Airport. The manager, Mr. Dayan Jaysinghe, was extremely humble and welcoming, and also arranged our airport pick-up and drop-off. We arrived in Colombo on 1 August for a 14-hour layover, and it turned into a really enjoyable mini-trip — relaxing at the hotel, exploring Negombo and Colombo by tuk-tuk, enjoying a great dinner, and of course, having some fresh Sri Lankan pineapples from the street! A very convenient and pleasant experience. Highly recommended for anyone with a long layover in Colombo.

Posto perfetto per trascorrere l'ultima notte prima del volo di ritorno. Aeroporto vicinissimo (quindi ovviamente si sentono spesso gli aerei) e transfer organizzato dal proprietario puntuale ed efficiente. Unico posto durante la vacanza in Sri Lanka dove abbiamo avuto il box doccia in bagno (rarità molto apprezzata)

Hotel comodissimo vicino all'aeroporto con possibilità di transfer. Camera ampia e pulita xon frigo e aria condizionata. Rapporto qualita prezzo eccellente. All'ultimo piano c'è un ristorante molto buono con vista dov'è possibile cenare/fare colazione. Abbiamo deciso di tornarci anche al rientro a colombo dalle maldive.

La chambre était très confortable et l’emplacement proche de l’aéroport. Le transfert s’est effectué sans encombre et les membres de l’hôtel sont très réactifs et facilitants. Les horaires d’arrivée et départ sont très flexibles ce qui permet une arrivée sereine.

The room was spacious & very clean! Even though the restaurant had closed, the staff provided me with a late dinner and early breakfast, and they dropped me off at the airport, which was less than 10 min by car.

The gym should be cleaned, but I told them this at checkout and they took my request seriously. So hopefully from now on it is better maintained :)

A true hidden gem just minutes from the airport. We stayed for one night before our departure flight and couldn't have made a better choice. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped, offering everything we needed for a relaxing one night stay before traveling. The complimentary airport transfer in the morning was a fantastic bonus and made our journey completely hassle-free. The hospitality was outstanding, and the host made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Excellent value for money and definitely worth staying. We highly recommend it and would gladly return in the future.

Very friendly staff, restaurant on the roof is amazing and everything spotless clean. 1200 LKR for the airport transfer at 5:00 am which was already waiting for us when we came out was also brilliant! Highly recommended for a stay before or after your flight!

Später CheckIn war ohne Probleme möglich. Das Zimmer war perfekt ausgestattet, mit allem was man braucht. Und alles war blitzsauber. Nishadi war immer zu erreichen und war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Vermutlich schade, dass die meisten Gäste immer nur kurz im Hotel wegen der Nähe zum Flughafen dort verweilen.

De accommodatie ligt heel kort bij de luchthaven op 5 minuten rijden ben je er. Het is heel netjes en je hebt alles om er een paar uur door te brengen als tussenstop na of voor een lange vlucht.

Nous sommes arrivés au milieu de la nuit, vers 3h30 du matin, en raison de notre vol et nous avons été très bien accueillis. Dayan et Nishadi sont attentionnés et s’assurent que nous ne manquons de rien. Pour nos premières heures au Sri Lanka, nous avons grandement apprécié leur aide et leur gentillesse. L’hôtel est bien placé, à 10 minutes en voiture de l’aéroport et très confortable. Grand lit, moustiquaire, serviettes, café ou thé à disposition. Je recommande !

The staff are wonderful. The manager, Dayan was so welcoming! He showed us around the room and was very kind and friendly! He couldn’t do enough to help us! We only stayed for a few hours after a long flight and we will most likely go back before we leave for our evening flight! Communication with the staff before we arrived was good and we had good contact during flight as we were delayed. They offered to arrange a taxi for us and I wish we accepted as it was best price and would have saved us a lot of hassle. Overall great staff, clean, good WiFi, and everything you need for a short stay!

Für unsere Bedürfnisse war die Unterkunft ideal. Sie ist super gelegen, direkt neben dem "TukTuk-Rental" und in der Nähe des Flughafens. Die Zimmer sind grosszügig und das Personal war überaus freundlich. Der Flughafentransfer hat ebenfalls wunderbar geklappt.

room was big and very clean, close to airport, if you are in transit then its good for you, if you are touring in sri lanka then its not a good stay as everything is very far away from this property, for example restaurents and tourist spot, bus stand etc

we informed them that we will check in early, around 6 am, they said its ok you can, i thought its free of cost as we got it for free in other different coutries, but after reaching their property they charged us extra for early check in, if i knew earlier that sri lanka is safe at night then i would walk to next hotel, i thought its noght so lets pay extra and stay here

The location is perfect for the airport. The front desk staff were amazing and so friendly. They helped us with everything and made us feel very welcome. We would definitely recommend staying if you are in the area

Very convenient location near the airport. Hotel was very clean and staff were very helpful and friendly. The front office manager Dayan organised airport transfers for us too.

The host was excellent and stayed in constant contact with us even before we landed. Although we were there for only a few hours, they made sure everything was ready for our stay. The room and washroom were both clean, and all the amenities listed were provided. The airport pick-up and drop-off service was punctual, making our journey hassle-free. They even woke us up in time for our early morning flight, which we truly appreciated. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend staying here.

The only drawback of this property was its close proximity to the airport. As a result, there was considerable noise from planes taking off and landing, which may be a concern for light sleepers.

Es war super für die Ankunft am Flughafen in Negombo.

Alojamiento muy cercano al aeropuerto. Habitación amplia, muy limpia, cómoda y fresca. Nos encantó el trato de todo el personal, especialmente de Dayan y Nishadi, los mánagers. La comida del restaurante estaba buenísima y con una cantidad abundante. Los camareros fueron muy amables también.

Dayan the office manager was so helpful. He collected us from a midnight arrival at the airport and waited for us to pick up a SIM card. The hotel was just what we needed, as a stop before continuing our journey the next day. It was incredibly clean, had a water cooler in the room, fridge and enough plugs to charge everything. The shower and toilet were spotless. I highly recommend staying here

La amabilidad del personal, las instalaciones estan muy bien, todo muy limpio. El restaurante del rooftop buenisimo y biej se precio. Como no teniamos transporte al aeropuerto, acogieron a nuestro driver para que se pudiera quedar a dormir alli y asi poder llevarnos a las 4 a.m. Muy agradecidos a Dayan y Neshadi por todo.

Very good option for a night near Colombo airport. The location is very convenient, close to the international airport, making transfers easy. We arrived around 1am and the staff welcomed us very kindly and were extremely accommodating, which was greatly appreciated after a long trip. A special thanks to Dayan and Nishadi, who were especially helpful and friendly throughout our stay, including helping us organize a taxi the next day. The room was comfortable, with an excellent bed and very effective blackout curtains, so we slept very well. We also enjoyed the breakfast served on the rooftop (extra charge), which was very good and served in a pleasant setting.

As expected for a hotel near the airport, you can hear some airplanes, but it did not disturb our sleep thanks to the comfort of the room.

Dayan and Nishahdi’s hospitality was lovely and welcoming. Just a 10 minute drive from the airport and a lovely restaurant upstairs with western and local foods. The guys in the restaurant were also really friendly.

Dayan was lovely. He picked up our group of 4 from the airport late at night, and checked us in quickly and comfortably. We only stayed for one night before continuing on but I would absolutely stay here again. The room exceeded expectations and is a fantastic deal for the price.

You go in front of the hotel on the main road and find 50% lower price for airport transport then what the hotel offers. Some stuff dont speak english, I told the guy 3 times Im here for check in he didnt understood. When i wanted to check out at 6pm reception was closed, so I just left the key. Would be good to have small fridge to keep the water cold.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout the stay. The food was good,and 24 hours restaurant/cafe is open that is very nice.outdoor it is very comfy. Room price was also very reasonable for the quality and convenience provided. One of the best advantages is the location, just 5 minutes from the airport, with a complimentary one-way airport transfer given. The room included two complimentary water bottles, and free refill facilities were conveniently available from the dispenser outside the room.

The restaurant service needs more attention to detail and staff training. I had to ask separately for a knife with my steak, request jam again after only butter was served, and tea was mistakenly replaced with coffee. Improving these small details would make the experience much better.

Great value for money! The location is very convenient, especially for its proximity to the airport. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The place was clean, spacious, and had a very well-equipped kitchen, including a fridge, kettle, plates, cups, and cutlery. There is also a rooftop restaurant with lovely views and excellent omelettes (they offer many other options as well, although we didn’t try them). The manager kindly arranged transport to the airport for a small fee.

The cook also offered to prepare breakfast for us before our early departure, which was a very thoughtful gesture. Unfortunately, he was unwell that morning and unable to do so.

We stayed for one night in this room, as it is very close to the airport. The location was extremely convenient, especially for a short stay. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed for a quick overnight stay. If you have a transit or an early flight, this is definitely one of the best options you can choose. We would recommend it for anyone looking for a practical and easy stay near the airport.

Der Fluglärm ist halt sehr laut (klar, man ist ja sehr nahe vom Flughafen). War aber nicht tragisch, denn ich glaub zwischen 00:00 und 07:00 hörten wir keine Flieger. Zum Negombo Beach Park (zum Beispiel für den Sonnenuntergang) sind es ca. 25min per Tuktuk.

Очень удобный для транзита отель! Заботливо встретили нас в аэропорту вечером, и отвезли утром обратно на следующий рейс, за очень разумные деньги. Очень близко от аэропорта, комфортные хорошо оборудованные номера (у нас был семейный и двухместный), удобные кровати, отличный душ и вообще все что надо для отдыха перед длинным перелетом.
