Reviewed May 8, 2025My family and I stayed at Sweet Homestay Penang for short gateway. Location was perfect with cafe, restaurant within walking distance. Found this Gem restaurant nearby called "Red Diamond Restaurant & Seafood Steamboat".. Food delicious and food price is cheap. Overall room was clean, bed was comfy, got all the amenities cozy house needed. Mdm Chiah make our check in so convenient and helpful to solve our needs. Will definitely comeback for my next stay.

The place is small and decorated in an unpleasant manner. There are lots of things around the living room and kitchen that are not needed by the guests. The water in the shared bathroom does not flow out properly. The bedding smells funny.

1. Not enough keys for 2 or more family members in 1 unit and it is not convenient for us to go in and out. 2. At least need 2 sets of keys for people who stays in and 1 set of spare keys property holds just incase emergency uses. 3. Pillow is a bit soft.
