Great location- near transit, shopping, restaurants but off main busy strip, exactly like pictures, everything and more that you needed, great hosts, clean, modern, spacious, amazing views

The property is close the train station, but also nicely hidden away from the main road so it is quiet and private. Modern stylish interior and very well equipped with a nice garden and outdoor furniture

We had a nice stay at the property. Our kids loved that a playground was right out the front door. We had a car but walked all around town (uphill but a 8 min walk to the grocery store.) Kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed even some fun surprises like coffee pods included. We also appreciated the washer / dryer and kids toy room.

A lot of hills to walk to get to town but that’s no one’s fault! It’s just how Grindelwald is set up!

Unbeatable view from the accommodation's balcony. Just amazing!

Das Chalet ist wunderschön gelegen und in einem hervorragenden Zustand. Besonders praktisch ist die Tiefgarage mit direktem Zugang ins Haus und der großzügige Skiraum. Auch die tollen Extras wie Tischtennisplatte, Kicker, Schlitten und Fahrräder – alles kostenlos nutzbar – sind ein echtes Highlight für unsere Kinder gewesen ! Unsere Wohnung war ebenfalls top: sehr sauber, durchdacht aufgeteilt und hervorragend ausgestattet – man merkt, dass hier viel Liebe zum Detail steckt. Die Terrasse mit dem kleinen Garten lädt nach einem Ausflug wunderbar zum Entspannen ein. Die Eigentümer sind außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit, dabei angenehm unaufdringlich – einfach perfekt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Wir hatten leider das kleine Pech, dass auf dem Nachbargrundstück ein Bagger stand, der die Sicht auf die Berglandschaft etwas beeinträchtigte. Zum Glück wurde er während unseres Aufenthalts nicht betrieben – dafür kann natürlich niemand etwas, und das war auch schon der einzige kleine Punkt. Ach ja, eine normale Filterkaffeemaschine wäre vielleicht noch eine schöne Ergänzung. :)

Les lits dans la chambre à 3 lits. On se cogne la tête dans les lits inférieurs.

Claudia und David waren sehr freundliche und flexible Gastgeber. Die Wohnung war geschmackvoll und mit allem ausgerüstet was man braucht und noch mehr. Sehr sauber, ruhig und nahe am Dorfkern gelegen. Man spürt und sieht, dass diese Wohnung mit viel Liebe - auch fürs Detail - ausgestattet ist und gepflegt wird, was auch in den Nebenräumen wie Garage, Skiraum usw. ersichtlich ist.

Es gibt nichts auch nur im geringsten zu bemängeln.

Everything, the location was great. The hostels very kind. The house was with all the details necessary for a very comfortable and nice vacation.

I hardly leave reviews. Chalet Carve is perhaps the best non-hotel accommodation that I’ve ever stayed at. Staying here is one of my favourite moments in Switzerland and I’m still thinking about it now post-vacation. The whole place is clean, comfortable and there are many small little details that the owner put her heart into (like small umbrellas, groceries bag, enough hangers for jacket for everyone, sleep earbuds etc.). The kitchen is clean, functional and fully equipped with all sorts of kitchenware that we cooked 3 meals here :) I had problem with the laundry machine and the staff came to help immediately! Would 100% recommend to bigger groups of travellers!

We were a family of 14 so we booked all 3 apartments. Very convenient with plenty of space. The view was out of this world.

I had a wonderful stay at Chalet Carve! The view was absolutely stunning. It felt like waking up in a postcard of Grindelwald every morning. The place was thoughtfully equipped with so many essentials, which made the stay incredibly comfortable and convenient. From kitchen basics to extra toiletries, everything I needed was already there. On top of that, the host, Claudia was exceptionally kind and welcoming, always ready to help and genuinely caring. I truly appreciated the hospitality and attention to detail. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway!

We absolutely loved staying in Chalet Carve. Claudia is lovely and made us feel welcome. The chalet is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. Wireless charger, umbrellas, Shopping bags, and more! The attention to detail and thought Claudia has gone into furnishing the apartment is second to none. Highly recommend staying here. We miss it already. Location is excellent.

We had a wonderful stay at Chalet CARVE Mönch! The apartment is incredibly cozy and fully equipped with everything you need, including spices and sauces for cooking. It's a perfect place for a relaxing and comfortable getaway. Highly recommended!

Everything!! We loved our 4 nights there, even chose to eat dinner at the apartment so we could enjoy it. Beautiful views, nice space for two couples, comfortable beds. Great location by coop, town and bus/train! Didn’t want to leave. Host was so very helpful and informative and available.

Such a lovely location, exceptional views of the scenery from the balcony, enjoyed sitting out rain or shine. Exceptionally well kitted out residence. There was nothing I could've wanted that wasn't provided. Umbrella's for rain, shopping bags, binoculars, bikes, USB phone sockets, nothing that hadn't been thought of. The kitchen and bathroom are petite but have everything needed. The hosts were easy to contact and couldn't have done more to make us feel at home and make our trip successful. Kids were welcomed and allowed to be kids, they loved the football and table tennis in the basement and hammock swings on the balcony as well as the games room.

Everything was well thought out, can't suggest any upgrades. It was warm in warmer weather and we were only at about 27, I know they don't have air conditioning. A fan was provided without us asking when the evenings/nights were warm.

Our stay at Chalet CARVE was perfect! We are a family of four and stayed for 3 nights. This is a true 2 bedroom, one bath with a full kitchen and living room. We really liked the personal out door space which had a full outside table & chairs and two additional lounge chairs. Our kids played in the yard and my wife and I sat on the lounge chairs enjoying the views of the mountains. Very easy walkn from Grindelwald Train Station (not Grindelwald Terminal). Although we did walk to Grindelwald Terminal both mornings (20 minutes or so, beautiful and easy) to start our hikes/gondola rides. The town / village of Grindelwald is a five minute walk from the Apartment was clean, spacious and easily fits 5 five people. Hosts were great at communication and easy to work with. They live on the 3rd floor when in town. Washer & Dryer on premise which was huge for us (5 weeks of travel in Europe!). I look forward to staying here again at some point in the future. And I would recommend this place to all of my family and friends.

Nothing. Just what we were looking for in Grindelwald.

We stayed in the Jungfrau apartment on the second level. The view is lovely, the kitchen is well equipped and the apartment very clean and great underground parking. The owners are very kind and helpful.

Other people leaving their washing in the washing machine and not coming to collect it. It was awkward to have to take it out. A person opened the dryer with our newly wet clothes in it and didn’t shut the door back so our washing took so long to dry. The laundry is well signed to avoid this from happening.

We met Claudia and David, the owner of the chalet. Felt extremely welcome and looked after during the stay. Really can't fault anything about the chalet, the garden at the ground floor and the neighbourhood. Great decision to stay on the ground floor, as the Grindelwald valley view is just in front. The area is quiet and just 15 min walking distance to town, although you have to walk up the hill a bit. There are lots of facilities offered by the chalet, laundry service, parking and also bikes, indoor table tennis....

With heavy luggage it does take an effort to arrive and also walk back to the station, but this isn't the end of the world.

A fantastic apartment with everything you may need in a quiet neighborhood a short walk from the city center. I'm allergic to dust and the apartment was dust free.

The accommodation hosts were super friendly and helped us alot before our stay (instructions to get the key from the letter box and to drive into the garage) and during our stay at their place (guiding us on our driving route and luggage when we checked in, the trash bin near the school that we need to throw etc.) The room was well furnished and it has such a nice view of Mt Eiger. Overall a great stay during our time at Grindelwald!

We provided some feedback about the light at the dining table and the drainage at the shower cubicle. The hosts have acknowledged them promptly and will be resolving them too!

The Chalet was gorgeous! We were thrilled with the location, view, privacy and overall majestic beauty of the property. Easy walking to the shops/restaurants as well as activities. Claudia was quick to respond and extremely helpful to answer any questions we had. It could not have been more perfect!

Claudia and her family have really good taste. The apt is well decorated, the bed is so comfy, we got the best sleep there during our two weeks travel in Switzerland. They are also very accommodating with requests. Excellent host. We were there during Easter and they even got my daughter a chocolate bunny, just a little special touch for my kid.

Location was great, short walk from Grindelwald station. Chalet was perfect, cozy and meticulously clean. Kitchen had everything you can ask for. The bunk bed and small garden were loved by the kids. Claudia and family were nice host, helpful but not intrusive. Thank you, and we hope to be back.

Is this box big enough? First of all look at how stunning it is. Then look at how stunning the scenery it boasts is. Then pay attention to the family that host and how welcome and at home they make you feel, and how much they care about you enjoying yourself and your stay. This chalet is breathtaking, from the look outside. To the warmth and cosiness you feel the moment you step inside. Then as you make your way down the hallway to be greeted by panoramic views of the most spectacular scenery. Take your first step onto the balcony that resembles the size of a deck of a ship, and gaze at the mountain and glacier peaks to be blown away. Turning back inside you begin to notice all the festive and seasonal decorations throughout and it feels like home. There’s not something I ‘like’ about this property. There’s just everything I love about it.

That the UK is not closer to Switzerland so I can visit over and over again.
