Reviewed Sep 15, 2026Besser hätte unsere Irland-Reise nicht starten können. Mit dieser so gemütlichen und schönen Unterkunft haben wir uns von Beginn an total wohlgefühlt. Liz ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, die uns bereits im Vorfeld mit hilfreichen Tipps und Empfehlungen bestens versorgt hat. In der Umgebung gibt es so viel zu entdecken. Wir hatten drei Nächte gebucht und hätten nochmal so viel dranhängen können. Connamara und das süße Häuschen sind eine unschlagbare Kombi.

Das Doppelbett ist schmal, ca. 1,20 m, max. 1,40. Scheint in Irland oft üblich zu sein, aber ein btreiteres Bett wäre bequemer. Platz dafür wäre da.

Views thwarted by a digger in the garden of neighbouring property which we weren’t made aware of though unfortunately. Communication could’ve been better as water and electricity shut off at 9am on departure day which we weren’t given prior notice of.
Nothing we didn’t like it was nice and clean and bed was super comfy.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026It was the perfect place for our short trip to the west coat of Ireland. It had everything you could need during a stay and enough room to relax before starting or ending your day.
That we had to leave and there was so much to do nearby that we didn’t get a chance to sit out on the patio!

Reviewed Aug 26, 2025Sehr stilvolle und hochwertige Einrichtung. Die Küche war hervorragend ausgestattet. Alles war sehr sauber. Haben uns hier rundum wohl gefühlt.
Die Warnung der Vermieterin vor den Midges sollte man ernst nehmen. Sind auf einer Wanderung auf den Diamond Hill über einen hergefallen. Lange Kleidung und Mückenspray sind hier empfehlenswert. Der grandiose Ausblick hat entschädigt.

There are a couple of things to note: Hot Water: If you need to plan your time, be aware that the hot water in the shower is sufficient for approximately two people. After that, you need to wait about an hour for the hot water to be available again. Double Bed: The double bed is more like a 1.5-size bed, which may not be comfortable for two people. Check-Out Instructions: We were asked to strip the beds and leave the sheets and towels in the utility room. This was surprising considering the amount of money paid for the stay. Overall, it was a decent stay, but these points might be helpful for future guests.

Reviewed Jun 4, 2024I highly recommend it, peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle. It is worth taking bikes and exploring the area. Nearby there is a small village with delicious coffee at Kabo Cafe and pubs where you can eat well. We will definitely come back 😊

I highly recommend the Snappysnappycrab open crab sandwiches on Letterfrack pier. Liz was easy to communicate with and supplied great local information. Thank you Liz
