The actual property was nice and clean and perfectly acceptable.

What was astonishing,was that there was NO actual condiments in the kitchen. No coffee, Tea, sugar, salt&pepper cooking oil, milk(for the fight day) paper towels and other basic kitchen equipment, and there was no mention of this when Booking.This is not acceptable and should have been clearly marked prior to us booking.No sharp knives to cut things with..no instruction booklet to show how to get heating and hot water to work.I thought Booking.com had standards.Sadly not

Location, close to the entrance of Connemara National Park

The house potencially could be very cosy but the forniture is dated and it lacks details.You would just need to address a few important things. I would start definitely by changing all the matresses which were very old and uncorfortable. My single bed upstaires was made of 2 old matresses one top of each other and the bedsheets were leaving part of the underneath matress uncovered.. Next to my single bed there was no bedside table and not even a night lamp and not even a plug to charge my phone. The velux window next to my bed had no blind / no curtains so not ideal for sleeping.

Carmel was very helpful with any question, lovely, clean, well kept house, perfect for our group.

Great location, had a lovely visit from the pig the next morning was very cute! Clean and well equipped house.

Pas d'eau à notre arrivée et ce malgré la venue de la propriétaire. Du coup pas de douche, pas de chasse d'eau et j'en passe. Cet hébergement ne devrait même pas être proposé sur Booking.

Maison spacieuse, bien équipée, dans le centre de Letterfrack où il y a tout ce dont on a besoin, au cœur du Connemara. Nous avions régulièrement le visite de cochons, chèvres et chats. Nous sommes restés 9 nuits, et nous serions bien restés pour toujours !

Maison toute équipée et charmante au calme. La présence de cochons et chèvresen liberté devant la maison peut surprendre mais cela fait une animation.

unseren Kindern hat es sehr gut gefallen, jeden tag mit den Tieren Zeit zu verbringen. Ein Highlight war, dass die Tiere tagsüber einfach durch die gesamte Anlage (ungefähr 10 Häuser) spazieren können. Wir haben am ersten Tag schon etwas blöd geschaut, als auf einmal ein Schwein in unserem Garten herum lief. Das Schwein war sehr lieb, ließ sich gerne streicheln und hat sich hingelegt, um auch am Bauch gekrault zu werden. Am Tag der Ankunft haben wir die Besitzerin kontaktiert, weil uns zu warm im Haus war... aufgrund des anhaltend (ungewöhnlich) warmen Wetters musste sie uns die Heizung abschalten - laut ihrer Aussage das erste Mal seit 1995 😅 Sie kam dann sofort mit Werkzeug und hat sich gekümmert. Außerdem hat sie uns dann gleich wertvolle Tipps gegeben, was wir in den nächsten Tagen mit unseren Kids alles erleben sollten.

The location, building, and the property.

The heating is out of your control, the locks are confusing to 1st timers, and the limited communication with the owner is challenging. Also, Google maps doesn't understand the location (with or without the code) so it's tricky to find at first.

We had the entire house and really enjoyed our stay, even though it was only for one night. The apartment had most basic amenities, the only thing that was missing were a few towels (we were 5 people in total)

The location is fantastic and the village is wonderful. My children loved having the farm animals roaming around the grounds…

We stayed in cottage 5. We were not comfortable with the low standard of the building & structure integrity. The bannister was broken / wobbly Bathrooms were old and run down Electrical outlets were falling through the walls or cracked. Most smoke alarms were either not there or broken. There was no washing machine on the property, when the description on booking.com said there was. If we stayed here again I would ask not to stay at cottage 5

This is a great location for a base to visit the many places of interest. Good local walks with several places to eat out.

Unfortunately the property was not the one booked. It was old and worn out compared to the pictures of the one we had booked. The hot water was timed to come on repeatedly throughout the day and night which would be fine if it didn't also heat the radiators. Our few days were in a mini heatwave and the house was unbearably hot. The beds upstairs were rickety and uncomfortable, the whole of upstairs creaking if you walked about so disturbing the downstairs bedrooms. The stair banister was very loose so didn't feel safe to use. It's a shame because in its day it must have been a lovely holiday home. The daily visits by the farm pigs were fun but don't walk on the grass, it's a bog.

Het gebouw heeft een grondige renovatie nodig. Ook inrichting zeer verouderd. Er was geen wifi omdat men op een onderdeel wacht. Geen warm water ‘s ochtends.

Will be back. Good family style place although there were only two of us this time. Location and privacy are excellent. Access to town perfect. Everything you need is within very easy reach.

No greeter except resident pig! A little confusing as to where to go at first. Key in door but not a coded entry as was sent for key in. Could not make the clothes dryer work! Also, no signal for the tv. Email notifications were excellent before and just prior to arrival too. A point of contact is needed, however. Judy Williamson

Lokalizacja super. Blisko do parku narodowego oraz klasztoru. Czysty bardzo i schludny. Farma ze zwierzetami dodaje uroku. Odwiedzily nas dwie kozy na powitanie. Ogromna przestrzeń.

Bylismy na poczatku maja, brakowalo mozliwosci wlaczenia ogrzewania, na dworze bylo dosc zimno. Bylo zimno w obiekcie. Na miejscu byly przyprawy, kawa, cukier, ale brakowalo herbaty, aby sie rozgrzac. Byl dostepny jeden koc, warto rozważyć ich wiecej.

The house was clean, spacious and bright. There was plenty of hot water and the house was warm. Location was great, walking distance to village.

The beds / mattresses need to be replaced. They are old and uncomfortable ( apart from the one in master bedroom) The bed linen was clean though some of it tired and worn. The towels are old and worn . Some of the blinds are damaged. .. There was no fire extinguisher or fire blanket visable and more worryingly the smoke alarm in the upstairs landing was disabled. There were no intructions to operate anything for those that might require assistance.

Excellent location, walking distance to all amenities in Letterfrack. Lovely and quiet. We have stayed in this house several times and some much needed improvements have been made, cleaner and freshened up. The Internet worked which was a bonus based on previous stays.

Still feels a bit tired, furniture in lounge and kitchen could do with updating. The velux blinds in the double upstairs are difficult to use as tabs have come off.

This was a great place to stay. From the goats and pig welcoming committee to the excellent facilities and perfect location, we loved Letterfrack Farm Lodge. The house was spotless and lovely. It was very easy to quickly feel at home. It’s very close to the National Park and a very short walk to some great restaurants and coffee shop "downtown" (when you don’t wish to avail yourself of the well-stocked kitchen). An ideal base for visiting Connemara National Park and a relatively short and pleasant drive to Padraic Pearse’s cottage and museum.

La ubicación. En nuestro caso fue una casa completa para 3 personas.... había 4 habitaciones, 2 baños, salón, cocina... Espacios y bien equipada. Aparcamiento delante de la casa. Aunque no lo usamos tenia también jardín con barbacoa y mesa para comer en el exterior.

La llave estaba en la puerta de entrada y el aspecto desde fuera no es muy optimo, la puerta necesita una mano de pintura y algunos desconchones deberían ser arreglados pero luego por dentro no mantiene ese nivel y la cosa mejora.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise und haben 1 Nacht dort verbracht, es ist ein hübsches Haus, wir hatten ein grosses Zimmer mit einem guten Bett. Alles war tip top.

La casa non corrispondeva alla descrizione. Forse si è trattato di un errore... Restando solo una notte non abbiamo contestato. La casa, nonostante fosse datata, era comunque molto accogliente e pulita. Siamo stati bene in compagnia degli animali della fattoria.

La casa doveva avere tre bagni in realtà la casa assegnata ne aveva due. Un bagno grande e funzionale e uno piccolissimo

The house was warm and comfortable.

The speed ramps are too high and not signed and the car hit one very hard. The hall could have done with a mat as the weather did warrant one.

Nous n'avons jamais vu personne. L' état de l' équipement: Matelas peu confortables. Pas d' eau chaude à notre arrivée. Matériel de cuisine et couverts non adaptés au nombre de personnes. Le sèche linge ne fonctionnait pas. Et nous avons eu froid. Le logement aurait besoin d'une rénovation.

Понравилось все! Огромный дом с четырьмя спальнями. . Все соответствует описанию. Все необходимое на кухне и даже больше. Посудомоечная машина, духовка, электрическая печка. Огромная удобная гостинная с камином. Зона для барбекю. Гуляющие животные. Место для парковки нескольких машин. Ванная с гидромассажем. Очень понравилось. Прогулялись к заливу . 15 минут через городок. Рекомендую!

Es muy espaciosa, con muchas habitaciones y muy completo todo. Tiene animalitos para los niños pero solo pudimos ver unos cerdos durmiendo y una cabra dando vueltas.

La casa esta bastante abandonada, le falta reformar muchísimas cosas y no da la sensación de hogareña, nos resulto fría y algo lúgubre, no estuvimos cómodos en ese sentido. La limpieza es escasa, encontramos de todo y el menaje viejo.

The dryer as part of the washer/dryer really doesn’t get the clothes dry.

Nous avons particulièrement aimé avoir de l'espace dans cette grande maison (nous sommes une famille de 4). La maison est idéalement située aux portes du parc national du Connemara et à quelques mètres d'une supérette où on peut se rendre à pieds.

Le lit double de la chambre du rez-de-chaussée était beaucoup trop mou à notre goût, de même que les canapés et les chaises. Pour le reste, tout était bien. 😅

A little offbeat location but absolutely beautiful views and very friendly house owners.They went out of their way to assist and made sure we were comfortable.I would definitely recommend it

Great value for money, the house was clean, centrally located and easy to find. The heating had been on and it was warm. Quiet, secluded area.

The owner could really do with purchasing new sheets, pillows and towels. They were very worn though in fairness not unclean.

The house was really clean and cosy in beautiful surroundings.

We as a family visit this area at least twice a year to celebrate anniversaries and a family member owns a property in Letterfrack. Because there is very limited self catering accommodation in Letterfrack at this time of year, we have stayed here on multiple occasions as have other family groups.The cottages are so convenient for our needs but this does not excuse poor maintenance. Positives - Beautiful location and perfect for walking to the local shop, pubs and national park. Garden area with outdoor furniture. Ample parking. Negatives - Needs TLC. Broken chair at dining table. Bed collapsed in main bedroom, appeared that screws used were too small for the bracket, had to prop up with books til the next morning! . On a positive note we found the owners son who did fix it quickly. The houses are advertised with WIFI but it didn't work at all ( we have reported this on previous stays but has not improved) Only 3 full size mugs and crockery/ cutlery poor quality. 1 very small frying pan, poor quality and not big enough for a house this size. These things may appear trivial but are so easy to put right.

Lovely spacious house right next to Connemara National Park and lovely beaches close by. Shop and restaurant a walking distance away. I stayed with my two dogs and the space was ideal for them. I am always delighted to find dog friendly accommodation. The house was spotlessly clean, beds were very comfortable and the house was lovely and warm on arrival. The host replied promptly to any question I had and was extremely accommodating and helpful when I had to amend my booking at the last minute. The only thing that might need checking is some of the blinds. One or two appear to be stuck open. This didn’t affect me as I only used one bedroom where they did work. In all, I’d highly recommend the house to solo travellers or groups with or without dogs in tow.

Location was fabulous in letterfrack, a couple of kilometres from the beautiful Kylemore Abbey and Connemara national park. Animals were very friendly, great food at the restaurants in town.

Keys were very tricky to lock and unlock.

The house is a two minute walk from the village of Letterfrack yet feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, so peaceful.

Exploring and finding the animals was tons of fun! And the house was cute and homey. I wish we could've stayed for longer. Also a perfect departing point to hike in connemara national park!

Location was good.

The beds are very uncomfortable, the mattresses are old and you can feel the springs or they are so soft that it is difficult to sleep. The bedding looks used and for 6 people we had only 2 big towel, 2 medium and rest was only small.

There was a very unpleasant mix up I will write about. Despite our booking being confirmed on booking.com, we didn’t receive any arrival instructions/keys and host didn’t answer the texts/phone calls. Eventually we found the keys to the house in the door lock and settled in. After about an hour a very loud, agitated and abrupt woman came in i and told us that we need to get out/we are in the wrong accommodation and she has someone else booked in. That she basically cancelled … the scene was highly unpleasant and her attitude was appalling. She kicked us out for an hour or so while she organised another house on the compound. We were only allowed to check in at 10pm by which time we were upset and very tired. The owner did not offer any apology and her behaviour was unacceptable.

All good, TV was not working but wasn't needed and I believe 1 of the kitchen windows does not close from inside (missing handle).

Walk on in...accomodated my first floor bedroom request, thanks! Big space great for families, two story. Full kitchen and laundry as well. Excellent location to Connemara Park and local pub. Large bathroom, good for handicap access.

Excellent location, the house is very nice and bright feel like at home cosy and warm, perfect heating. Pleanty space in the rooms. The kitchen is nice and fully equipped.

The shower pressure very low. The barbecue need to replace (sorry)
