Reviewed May 22, 2026The apartment was extremely comfortable. Aoifi went out of her way to assist us. The town center and shops are walking distance away.
Entry is a little complex, and there are 2 flights of stairs to negotiate.

It was tired, needed worked on and the bedding and towels need to be replaced. The main entrance door to apartments was broken and didn’t lock and the door to the apartment looked like it had been forced open as wood was missing and it needs a lot of TLC.

Reviewed Oct 7, 2025Las camas muy cómodas. Había todo lo necesario en el baño y en la cocina. Estaba muy limpio y las habitaciones eran muy espaciosas, con bastantes armarios para colocar cosas.
La calefacción se apagaba sola cada hora y pico y había que volver a encenderla. Aunque, igualmente, la casa era bastante cálida.

I had the downstairs room so I can only comment on that bedroom. The bed was awful - I could feel the springs all night. I'm around average weight. The instructions to enter need improvement - I got in but it was a bit unsettling. The instructions for the TV and sat tv also need simplifying. It took me a while to get it working. The instructions referred to a Samsung but neither the TV nor the sat nav were Samsung. The TV was a Philips. If the bed had been acceptable I would have rated 8-9.

Buurt was onveilig en verloederd en zeer luidruchtig. We begrijpen de hoge scores van anderen echt niet. Voor 6 mensen allicht helemaal ontoereikend.

Parking was available and the host was very responsive. The apartment is at the top of the building so there are quite a few stairs to get in and up to the top bedroom. Overall, a good stay.

Reviewed Dec 30, 2024Perfect location, beautiful and very clean apartment and very spacious too. The property owner was perfect throughout our stay, we never met, but all instructions through booking.com and WhatsApp were very clear and She was excellent to interact with.
It's not a "not like", It took a little bit of time to get used to the security and the keys, but once mastered after checking in, a doddle ☺️

The apartment itself was very clean. The kitchen had everything in it . The beds were very comfortable. The host was fantastic and was very helpful. Definitely would recommend it, and I will definitely be back

The outside was a bit rough .The key lock boxes could be upgraded and the door could be cleaned and painted and a general clean up .Hall to apartment could be painted and the windows cleaned .Pay parking every 2 hours 🙄

Reviewed Aug 23, 2024The location was very central and easy to get to pubs and restaurants. The apartment was lovely and clean and comfortable and fitted our needs perfectly. There was some food left which was very useful to our group.
Outside the building looked a little dodgy and wasn't in the nicest of locations. The apartment is on the 2nd floor with no lift. It was ok for our group, apart from some heavy baggage to be carried. This information would be useful for people that are older or incapacitated

The lounge suite was rubbish. The fake leather looked nice but it was so slippery we had to have blankets on them. The seats kept sliding forward and so uncomfortable. The lounge, kitchen and dining area is very small. The building outside is really shabby and unkempt. The heating system is on a timer and was set to switch off regularly. As a result it was mostly cold inside.

Reviewed Jul 21, 2024This was our 2nd stay at this lovely apartment. Aoife is an amazing host and very friendly. The apartment itself is very spacious and beautifully decorated. It is super close to pubs, shops and restaurants with onsite parking which is a bonus. We will definitely book again when we stay next year.
Everything was great, the only things I would have liked would have been a proper ironing board and a full length mirror in one of the upstairs bedrooms.

The hallway that lead to the apartment smells of stale smoke and the scent is quite strong within some rooms inside of the apartment also.

The front door of the apartment block couldn't be closed so it felt a little unsafe. The recommended parking area at the back of the complex was extremely isolated and was not a place I would choose to leave my car, so much so, we actually parked the car on the street.

Reviewed Jan 15, 2024Aoife was a brilliant host and so accommodating, we had to go to letterkenny to visit our Nana that wasn't well in hospital and she was so accommodating to us when we needed an extra few nights 10/10 . Also when we got there from a long trip from cork there was milk and bits to make a nice hot drink after a cold drive . Very spacious 3 bed duplex I'll be staying here next time I go to letterkenny without question location is ideal

Misleading from the outside - doesn't do the apartment justice. Lovely leather couch in the sitting room but not very practical, kept sliding down it when relaxing in the evening & having to get up to push cushions back in again.

Love the little flat once you're inside. The unit outside looks a bit sketchy. But honestly, it was just an illusion place was a safe location so all turned out well in the end. A small issue with the water one night but the owner was readily, available and took care of the issue.
