Reviewed Apr 6, 2026I liked we were so close to town it was relatively quiet and it was very well appointed unit. Warm and cozy and very clean. If we came to Invercargill we would stay there again and would recommend it to our friends.
There were no shelves in the wardrobe to unstack your clothes from your suitcase . We were there for 4 days maybe look at screwing some shelves like book shelves from Kmart. And definitely more than 4 coathangers. This is not a criticism it is a suggestion. Also nowhere to hang your clothes up in the shower except top of toilet.

Reviewed Mar 5, 2026Spacious, clean and comfortable accommodation. Most things we needed for self-catering were supplied. Beds comfy. Good shower. Nice to have a washing machine and dish-washer.
The ghastly automatic air-freshener. Odour hits you as you first open the door. It gave us all a headache and nausea. Even though we disabled the air-freshener, the smell has permeated carpets and soft furnishings. Even with every door and window open, the odour was still noticeable and unpleasant.c We're not the first to comment negatively about this, so we don't understand why the host hasn't desisted from using it.

Reviewed Oct 1, 2025We loved that the small things were taken into consideration like washing powder, salt and pepper, cooking oil. You don’t want to buy these things when you are staying for a couple of days and have no wastage. These simple things made our experience exceptional. It was our home away from home, great size, spacious, very clean and tidy, very comfortable for us 3 adults, 2 being elderly. My 2 elderly prefer bigger TV’s easier to see. I highly recommend, and will be back if available.

Reviewed Apr 14, 2025I was travelling for work for the week and this really gave the feeling of home, own space, washing machine and dryer, full kitchen, even had the odd bits and pieces like salt, pepper, hand towels, cooking oil, washing powder and detergent, perfect for wanting home cooked meals without having to buy all the things needed that you wont get to use fully while flying.
The only thing I can think of is possibly upgrading the TV to a Smart TV - a lot of people do enjoy watching Netflex etc.

Reviewed May 29, 2024We have stayed several times before and have always thoroughly enjoyed each visit staying [n a most clean. spacious home. Having off street parking is a great asset. Will be back for sure next time when we are in Invercargill.
Just one small thing which we think would improve the dining room/lounge area. Place table and chairs and table between door and kitchen. Also couch which is under window move to have back to dining area so allow all to see TV.

The location was a little noisy being close to the main road. The fridge was noisy as well. Would have been good to be able/have instructions to turn off automatic air freshener. A bit smelly! Would be handy to have a bigger towel rail or at least some hooks by the shower.

Traffic noise, quite a busy area, but like anywhere you get used to it. Seeing the concrete mixer, would have been nice if that area could have been fenced off. It looks like it is probably still a work in progress because everything is so new. Would have been nice to see a garden there when you opened the bathroom window. Guests at unit 3 not being considerate of others in the facility and were chatting loudly outside. Older area, but good location, handy to everything. No USB port in master or in unit.
