No faults, if I had to pick something it would be that the couches aren't the most comfortable but for 1 or 2 nights stay they are ok.

Reviewed Mar 15, 2026The accommodations were excellent, and exactly what we needed while we were in Invercargill. The house was spacious and everything was clean and tidy.
The only downside of our stay was that the Chromecast wasn't working very well, the only app we could get to work was YouTube. Mildly annoying but not the end of the world.

I thought there should be more hooks in the bathroom to hang towels on but other than that it was a nice place.

The sofa was very lumpy and uncomfortable, the supplies in the bathroom are very limited and have to call them to restock if you have a longer stay. The kitchen was sparingly furnished.

Al the signs with what NOT to do are not welcoming, neither is the unit being very cold on arrival. Everywhere we went the past 4 weeks were preheated for our arrival. Also I booked this because it was supposed to be in a quiet part of town, but there are roads on both sides of the unit with trucks starting early in the morning, so not quiet at all

Shampoo was not provided. The surrounding of the unit had no trees or shrubs and there was no nice place to seat outside. One of the bedrooms does not have a window. We only stayed one night so this was OK but I would not want to stay multiple nights in this unit.

The shower is a generous size. An internal rubber mat would be good as the shower base is smooth and potentially very slippery. Perhaps a lock on the bathroom door?

Reviewed Oct 19, 2024The off street parking was good. it was a very convenient and good place to stay while we were in Christchurch as it was close to the railway station. It is not an unreasonable walk to the train ( if you don’t have lots of luggage). even then it is quite achievable.
The chairs in the lounge were not comfortable however there was a good table where we could sit.

Reviewed Apr 17, 2024Love this place so much. One of the best accommodations in the south we have stayed so far. The place was clean, kitchen with pots n pans, there is an oven n microwave too. Love everything about the house. A fridge, not the mini kind. Adorable laundry room. Everything is simple and clean.
The bedroom and toilet doors do not have a lock function. Groceries done beforehand can avoid unnecessary trips to the store.
