Reviewed Jan 6, 2026Staff were lovely and helpful. Firdaus was lovely and very helpful. Two clean pools with a tennis court, badminton court and playground. The apartment was very large with everything you need for a visit away from home. Restaurants very close by and a bus stop is also very close if you want to travel. Beach is easy to walk to our travel by bus or Grab.
Would have liked some loungers near the pool.

Reviewed Jun 30, 2025The host Mr.Firdaus was vert helpful in explaining and showing us the facilities available. The apartment was super cozy, clean and well equipped. All the basic necessities was prepared. The area was also very quiet which is what we wanted during the break. The seaside is just a stone throw away from the apartment. It was a very relaxing walk to the seaside. There was no problem to get a parking spot. Mr.Firdaus was always available whenever we needed anything. Relaxing Retreats at Cocobay Residence is definitely worth the money for us and will definitely come back in the next visit.

The swimming pool was so far away. The beach was so far away. Accomodation was quite bad. The bed was very low,the toilet bowl in the master bedroom was made for children i think. It was so low. The worse of all the unit was located on the 1st floor. For a heart patient like to climb up stairs was a nightmare. It seems the lift was under maintenance. I cant imagine if i had gotten a unit on the 4th or 5th floor. As we checked in we were told the swimming pools were nearby only. And the beach was walking distance only. What a disappointment. I don't think i will ever stay here again. The unit came furnished. But when we wanted to boil water the kettle that was provided was rusty on the inside. It came with a microwave but as we open rhe door to the microwave the in side was also rusty. I the the owner or who ever looks after this place shoud get it changed.

Reviewed Oct 5, 2023the inside apartment overall is very nice. clean and comfy. the host provides all the necessities required and is very helpful and responsive.
visit two large pools at different blocks. the pools are not well maintained and quite dirty and found some faulty drain covers nearby the pool. most of the apartments are vacant and give scary vibes when traveling with children. the 'security' management is not friendly and not very helpful. stayed for several nights there and met with some 'suspicious? weird?' parties that do not look like staying there but they sit around secluded/parking areas and watch us. the instructions given by the host contradicted the security and left us confused. there are back gates that should provide medium walking distance to the nearby beach, but the gate is locked all the time. thus, we have to drive to the beach which defeats the purpose of choosing the apartment to easily go to the beach.

Reviewed Oct 2, 2023The apartment is very big and has everything you need. Firdaus was so friendly to give him his personal broadband so we had wifi. Because we are Dutch we wouldn't have any internet otherwise. The apartment is also really close to 2 nice beaches. One is just a 200m walk and was pretty quiet. The other one was a 15 minute walk, which was fine. More people, restaurants and activities there. The pool at the apartment is also very nice. And the fact that Firdaus provided drinking water was super.
We are used to a bit more comfort. The towels had stains on them, the airco in the living room was sticky and dirty so we didn't dare to put it on. The bed was not that comfortable as we are used to. And the whole apartment complex looks a bit old and like its had it's best time a lot of years ago (except for the pool, that one looks great)
