Reviewed Aug 24, 2026EVERYTHING! The host, Emmanual, his wife, both are SUPER accommodating people, warm, welcoming and very caring. They allowed me an early check in which was rally helpful as I was doing the Camino and really needed the rest (: They left a goodies bag with energy bar, fruits and pastry + coffee capsule + a large water bottle in the fridge (: it was so sweet of them, but also very much needed after a long walk. Everything was clean, functioning, with english explanations on the washer and dryer. Really, it was such a pleasant stay!

С самого начала он помог нам почувствовать себя комфортно и всегда был внимателен ко всему, что нам было нужно. Было очень приятно здесь остановиться, и его гостеприимство действительно сделало наше пребывание особенным. Однозначно рекомендую!

Reviewed Jun 21, 2026I am very grateful to the host who helped me out when I lost my phone cord. He was extremely helpful and even offered to pass me his cord. He was gen quick / responsive on text.
The rooms are pretty small and v basic. It is a DIY apartment, which i was not expecting. There were three rooms, and we were 2 women and one man (including myself). I think it might have not felt so comfortable if there were 2 men and just one woman. We are all in pretty close proximity. Bathroom was at one end, and I felt uncomfortable walking past all the rooms to get to the toilet. I think I may be disturbing other guests.

Il titolare è molto gentile e ci ha permesso di sistemare le biciclette in un posto sicuro. Ci ha lasciato acqua fresca in frigo, frutta e cibo adatto per una merenda o una colazione. A disposizione infusi e caffè. Zona molto comoda al centro e ai negozi. Assolutamente consigliato!

Reviewed May 8, 2026The owner met us and showed us around. In our room he left us a goodie bag of fruit, a powerbar, water, and a coffee pod. It hit the spot after walking 24 miles that day! The back garden was a beautiful place to sit quietly.

Reviewed Apr 28, 2026Schöne Unterkunft, super zentral gelegen. Alles vorhanden was es braucht, Waschmaschine, Waschmittel, Trockner, Wäscheleine im Garten, Kühlschrank etc. Alle sehr sauber. Emanuel ist sehr unterstützend und zuvorkommend und begrüßt jeden persönlich zur individuellen Ankunftszeit. Eine Snackbag und Wasser gab es auch noch dazu. Top! 🤩

Chambre à côté de la salle de bain, petite fenêtre et bruyante la nuit, on est réveillé quand les autres occupants vont aux toilettes. Chambre petite, cher par rapport à d'autres hébergements avec petit déjeuner inclus, dans la région. 9.3 c'est carrément surcôté

Reviewed Apr 26, 2026Gemütliche Unterkunft, ruhig gelegen. Sehr nette Begrüssung, Emanuel hat sogar vorgängig Unterlagen zu Restaurants, Supermarkt, etc. verschickt. Wasser, Früchte und Riegel liegen bei Ankunft bereit. Küche gut ausgerüstet und für die Waschmachine steht Waschmittel bereit.
Man kann keine Gegenstände im Badezimmer lassen, dafür ist keine Ablage vorhanden (3 Zimmer teilen sich ein Bad)

The apartment had everything we needed, including a washing machine, which was very convenient. There is also a small terrace. Um ehrlich zu sein, dachte ich, wenn ich eine Ferienwohnung buche, dass mir diese komplett gehört, vor allem zu dem Preis. Aber da habe ich wohl nicht gut genug gelesen. Am Ende hatte ich ein sehr enges kleines Zimmer mit nur minimal Licht durch ein kleines Fenster. Es hat schnell gemüffelt, weil man sein Handtuch mit ins Zimmer nimmt. Der Aufenthaltsraum ist m.E. auch nicht so ausgelegt, als dass man dort mit Fremden zusammensitzen mag, irgendwie komisch alles.

Reviewed Mar 22, 2026Der Herbert Vater war sehr freundlich, hat einem alles erklärt. Auf dem Bett stand ein kleines Tütchen mit Banane, Apfel, Müsliriegel und einem Croissant. In der Herberge gab es eine Waschmaschine, einen Wäschetrockner und eine komplett ausgestattete Küche. Zusätzlich einen Raum mit Fernseher.
Da fällt mir nichts ein. Es war alles gut.

Reviewed Jan 11, 2026The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. I was the only pilgrim that day, so I had the place to myself. The facilities were clean and well kept. The beds aren’t bunk beds, which was refreshing! The shower pressure is good.
It would be nice to have a clothes dryer, but it was not the end of the world. Also, the beds by the window are pretty chilly in the winter.

Het is heel gehorig.,je hoort je buurman of vrouw hoesten en als ze heel vroeg weggaan. De sloten van de deur maken heel veel lawaai.

Reviewed Oct 9, 2025Emanuel was very helpful and even waited til I got in to guide me to the house and show me around and very patient with me when I needed help. There is a laundry machine and place with hangers and clips to hang dry beans dryer when it's too cold for wet clothes. There was also snacks and water and a stamp for Camino walkers! There's also roosters and Vila do Conde bells in the morning for a nice wake up call! The guesthouse is also a short walk from several restaurants, a pharmacy, and the tourism office.
