Reviewed Aug 28, 2026What a great place, we loved it even thought it was only the 1 night. Seamus is a great guy and a welcoming host. Hopefully use this place again next summer inbetween our Cork and Donegal journey again In the summer.

Reviewed Mar 20, 2025What a great place to stay. Seamus made sure that everything was spot on for our stay at the Wild Atlantic Way Barn in Oranmore, Co Galway. The place itself is not what you would describe as ordinary....It's well worth the visit there just to experience the wide range of farm animals grazing out the back of the property. It's location is really good for anyone wishing to visit the Galway, Connemara and north Clare region. As for the Barn itself, well it just oozes coolness and all the things like comfortable beds and great shower facilities are spot on. Overall, brilliant place to stay. Well done Seamus with all the work you have put into the place.

Reviewed Jan 2, 2024We spent the New Years Eve in the WAW Barn. It was the perfect setup for a group of friends with the barn having everything we needed. The pool table and darts board provided lots of entertainment and Seamus was a great host giving us recommendations and setting us up with taxi numbers etc for the short spin into Oranmore.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2023Brilliant base to explore the Burren & Connemara. Facilities excellent - pool table, dartboard, video game, board games, big tv, piano - all kept everyone entertained at night. Beds clean & comfy. Kitchen well equipped. Dogs welcome too.
CD player in jukebox didnt work but there was so much else to do, this wasnt a big deal.

Reviewed Jul 11, 2023Great place. Very familiy friendly. Rocky the golden retriever was a very big hit with the kids. As was the pool table! Location super- near Galway city and Oranmore itself was a lovely town. Seamus was really helpful and friendly. Our dog was very welcome and enjoyed her stay too.
