The Coach House Hotel

The rooms were clean, and the restaurant for the evening meal was great. Food was fab.

The bed was a little uncomfortable, and I was in a back room with a very small window. The room got too hot, so opening window, with a warning on it that the fans would be running till 10 pm, but it sounded like the fans were on all night and the noise, whether from downstairs or adjacent buildings, was there all night, so not a great night's sleep, unfortunately. Also price included breakfast but was not till 8am and I had to be on the road by 8.05 with traffic, so I cannot comment on that, apart from maybe 7.30 am instead.

Nice big rooms very clean and was good for what we needed it for. Nice local restaurants and pubs. Going into Galway was about 20mins away and about €20 taxi so a bit steep if that’s all your going for.

Just a couple things but the main one was the noise we was facing the front and 2 of the nights the pubs next door closed after we had got in and was quite loud so had to put earplugs in plus shut the window. Then it sounded like someone was hoovering at 5.30am and then barrel delivery was at 7.30am so didn’t get good sleep. I think maybe add a sign up to remind people that the doors don’t self lock after it shuts. Also limited parking so didn’t always get a space.

Das Hotel ist in einem charmantem Gebäude, angeschlossen an ein Restaurant. Das Personal wsr äußerst hilfsbereit und hat Tipps zum Parken gegeben. Auch das Frühstück von der Speisekarte, serviert im angebunden Restaurant, war sehr lecker. Das Zimmer war groß.

Nur wenige Parkplätze direkt am Hotel, aber parken im Ort ist kostenlos möglich. Abends hat man den Betrieb im Restaurant aus dem Zimmer hören können. Insgesamt war das Zimmer etwas hellhörig, aber gegen 23 Uhr war es ruhig.

L'accueil a été très sympathique. Les chambres spacieuses. Nous avons apprécié les conseils du responsable du restaurant (en français !!), notamment concernant le service des bus pour Galway ! Le parking derrière le bâtiment est très appréciable.

Spacious room, quiet and the windows on the ceiling was the best touch.

Nice boutique hotel, room and bed were good, shower pressure was great. Parking was right on site.

Car park very tight. Stayed here a bit and definitely bring ear plugs. Lots of noise, glass bottles been put into bins after restaurant closes. Lots of early morning delivery to local shops and non collections.

Unter dem Hotelfenster befand sich der Luftabzug der darunterliegenden Restaurantküche, der trotz Ankündigung am Hotelfenster nachts nicht abgeschaltet wurde, und das trotz mehrmaliger Bitten an der Rezeption und deren Zusage, sich zu kümmern. Kurz, wer einen ruhigen Nachtschlaf sucht, sollte dieses Hotel meiden.

Gutes Hotel für eine Übernachtung. Sehr freundliches Personal. Besonders der französisch stämmige Kellner im Hotel zugehörigen Restaurant, der uns sehr gute Tipps für die Weiterfahrt nach Dublin gegeben hat. Zimmer sind in Ordnung, wenn auch nicht mehr ganz neu und das Frühstück gut und ausreichend.

Not much..While parking is stated as not guaranteed, Residents should have priority over diners and should be enforced but we got sorted on the day.

The TV did not work in the room and the helpful handyman could not fix it. It was disappointing on a one night stay, and also disappointing I had to bring this up at checkout, reception should have acknowledged it as she was aware.

Freundliches Personal, Frühstück war gut mit frischen Zutaten und lecker.

Wir hatten ein sehr hellhöriges Zimmer direkt über dem Restaurant im ersten Stock zur Hauptstraße. Jeder Stuhl der im Restaurant bewegt wurde war oben zu hören. Leider hat man auch alles auf dem Flur und dem Nachbarzimmer bis spät nachts gehört.

Lage direkt neben Pub ( Lärm) Parksituation schwierig. ( Parkplätze im Innenhof vorhanden aber man muss schon Glück haben einen zu erwischen)

Der Ortsteil Oranmore hat uns positiv überrascht. Es gab hier auf unserer Irlandreise das einzige Vegetarian Irish Breakfast. Es gab ausreichend Stauraum und Schränke.

Das Frühstück war lecker, aber etwas reduziert im Angebot. Samstag Nacht war es laut. Föhn konnte nicht vor dem Spiegel benutzt werden.

Super séjour dans ce petit hôtel tres bien situé dans la petite ville d'oranmore. Accueil chaleureux. Personnel arrangeant et attentif à ses clients. Chambre impeccable et literie tres confortable.

Very friendly staff and very helpful. Great restaurant with fab food and great breakfast too.

Our first room on the second floor only had a skylight so I asked to change. We were moved to a room on the first floor with a full window and all the amenities we needed.

We didn't realize that the week-long horse race event was happening during our stay, it was incredibly busy and very noisy. Set in the middle of town, you are close to everything. I'm sure the parking, onsite, is normally easy access, however during this event, we had to cross our fingers that we would have a place to park. The breakfast was incredible, and the breakfast staff was delightful. There did seem to be some confusion as to who to go to with questions at the beginning of our stay. The room was large and clean and the beds were very comfortable. There were two large windows that we could open for some airflow, however the noise kept us awake off/on. We would probably return during any other week of the year!

We would have appreciated clearer directions about parking, and a backup plan if the lot were to fill.

The walls felt like they were paper thin, could hear everything from the room next door and we were right above the restaurant so could hear chair being pulled around at 6AM 😴

It was noisy in the evening giving the location and recycling truck outside collecting bottles very early in the morning woke us up.

Schöne Unterkunft, gute Lage für einen Trip nach Galway. Tolles Restaurant direkt im Haus. Mehrere Pubs in direkter Nähe. Sehr umfangreiches Frühstück.

Knappe Parkplatzsituation, Glückssache ob man einen Parkplatz im Innenhof bekommt.
