Namas yra itin senas ir jausmas, kad nakvoji pas močiutę kaime. Jei būtų galimybė dar kartą sugrįžti - tą būtinai padaryčiau. P. S. pusryčiai nuostabiai skanūs ir rūpestingai paruošti. Šeimininkas draugiškas ir malonus. Daug vietos parkingui ir labai švaru.
Tualetas ir dušas buvo kitame pastate - bet tai dalis patirties, kuri taip pat buvo maloni, nes viskas buvo švaru ir šildoma. Kitame kambaryje, kur apsistojo kita mūsų grupės dalis po namus laisvai vaikščiojo katės, tai kas turi alergijas -atkreipkite dėmesį. Kambariai nerakinami - kas taip pat buvo dalis įdomios patirties. Bendrai - AČIŪ šeimininkams už tokią nerealią išskirtinę patirtį. REKOMENDUOJU ; )

Reviewed Sep 7, 2025We had booked the tent/yurt to sleep outside, however the rain had been terrible for days and was still raining when we arrived. The owner said there was a room in the main house availbale. I'm so glad we did. I have never slept in a more comfortable bed. The road is lined with waterfalls and hiking trails. Its a beautiful spot.
I wish we stayed longer.

Le prix, notamment du dîner, trop elevé pour la nourriture proposée L'escalier ou plutôt échelle de meunier pour grimper à notre chambre La salle de bains et toilettes dans un autre bâtiment : non seulement pas pratique, mais manque d'intimité lorsque l'on croise à l'allée ou au retour de douche des gens qui viennent petit déjeuner.

Pur essendo una tenda, il nostro soggiorno é stato molto confortevole. Ottima anche la colazione e la cena che vengono servite nel casale storico.

Notre chambre familiale etait située a l'étage de la salle de restaurant. Ce n est pas adapté avec des enfants de 6 et 7 ans. Accès par une échelle meunière, la nuit pour aller aux toilettes il faut s habiller, accompagner les enfants dans la salle de bain privative a l extérieur.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2025We simply loved the estate, the remoteness and nature, the familial atmosphere and the cats. Can‘t recommend the Flatheim estate enough if you like peace and quiet, lovely waterfalls, hiking and having cute places to rest like a barbecue hut, a greenhouse and a small gazebo. The breakfast and dinner are both cozy with great local food in the old wood building. We really appreciated the personal touch to everything and the small curtesies like being able to dry our hiking boots in a dryer at the main house etc. A wonderful three nights overall and we will definitely be back! Can‘t recommend enough.

We wisten niet dat badkamer niet in kamer zat... Geen groot probleem maar kinderen moesten verdiep naar beneden en naar buiten voor hun WC/badkamer. Wij moesten 2 verdiepen naar beneden voor gedeelde badkamer.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2025The dinner was amazing good and the chef-cook as well (we recommend to book the dinner!) The nature around, the lovely equiped rooms of this historical place. A very special place to be! You fall asleep by the rush of the beautiful river. The people who work there, were very friendly and seemed to be very satisfied.
The manager was a quiet bit reserved at the beginning, he seemed to be a little bit bored, but we think, that was just our impression of his calmness and peace. Nevertheless he were very friendly and helped us in any way. We had no key to our room during the stay, that was a little bit strange, the owner wanted to repair this, at some time..., when we were out of hotel, any other guest could just walk in, that was a bit strange feeling.

Reviewed Aug 1, 2025Diese Unterkunft ist wirklich was besonderes . Das Haus wo das Esszimmer ist (und unser Zimmer mit 4 Betten) stammt aus 1570. Sehr hübsch und authentisch möbliert. Wir hatten ein privates Bad, das zwar in einem Nebengebäude ist aber überhaupt nicht störend war, zumal es sehr schön, sauber und bequem war. Sehr leckeres Frühstück mit norwegischen Spezialitäten. Mehrere schöne Sitzmoeglichkeiten draußen. Wir können diese Unterkunft 100% weiterempfehlen, wenn man das authentische Norwegen erleben will. Wir werden uns immer daran erinnern. Vielen Dank an die Gastgeber für diese Erfahrung!

Glamping var ikke noe for oss, så ved neste besøk booker vi et rom i det hvite huset.

Reviewed Jul 26, 2025Tolle Lage, guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, aber natürlich im Nichts. Abendessen Klasse, wenn auch nicht günstig. Schönes, grosses Zimmer (Apartment mit Schlafzimmer). Frühstücksbuffet mit hausgemachten Produkten.
Nächste Einkaufs- oder Essensmöglichkeit 50 km.
