Ambiente bacana.

Hostel recomenda um taxista que não respondia mensagem, demorou mais de 30 min para chegar e ainda cobrou o dobro do que me falaram. Localização é 30min andando em uma estrada perigosa. Há locais mais remotos, mas mais tranquilos de caminhar. Cachorro ficou fazendo barulho na varanda do quarto. Porta não fechava pelo lado de dentro. Ir ao banheiro de madrugada é desagradável.

The lady that made the breakfast was nice.

The owners here are basically non existent, they want to design the stay so they don’t have to be there, which is ridiculous. I was there for two nights and they were not there once. They will make excuses as to why they are not there. It feels quite unsafe, especially at night. The gates are not locked and there is nobody there, anything could happen. The breakfast is eggs and bland toast. The electricity cuts out at night.

Hostel muito confortável, bonito, fresco, muita paz. O quarto compartilhado era bom.

O café da manhã é um pouco pequeno, mas é bom. Se você estiver com malas muito pesadas, se prepare para carregar bastante peso.

La suciedad, los bichos, el baño fuera de la habitación, el wifi no llega a la habitación, esta la habitación a 100metros de Subida por la montaña de la recepcion donde SI hay wifi.

Incredibly beutiful, in the middle of nature. Shower and compost toilet are incredible. I had such a good time. So peaceful. The stuff is nice, and the places story is heartwarming.

There was no food served, only breakfast, and the self service kitchen was small and not equipped. If the big kitchen isnt operating during the day it could have been nice to let guests use it instead.

Le site est très beau. Le dortoir fonctionnel. On entend en effet la route en contrebas la nuit. Le coin cuisine manque de matériels mais heureusement il est alors possible d’emprunter le matériel à la cuisine centrale. Attention aux moustiques et aux jejenes qui pullulent à Minca!

Posto meraviglioso, contatto con la natura al massimo. Il personale è stato molto gentile. Bellissimo il bagno e la stanza con vista diretta sulla giungla

Dalla reception si sentivano ogni tanto i rumori della strada. Per il resto tutto perfetto

Beautiful views from the terraces. Great ethos and nice hammocks and communal spaces to relax in. Generally a peaceful and relaxed hostel. We enjoyed the 20 minute walk through the jungle into town. Included breakfast was the standard eggs on toast with fruit. Helpful information provided at check-in.

Note the on-site restaurant was not open when we were there (I don't know if this is a temporary or permanent thing).

Nous avons quitté l’établissement après la première nuit alors que nous en avions réservé trois. La chambre présentait un manque de propreté, nous avons rencontré des problèmes d’électricité et la chaleur était telle que nos enfants n’ont pratiquement pas dormi dans la chambre du rez-de-chaussée. Le restaurant était fermé (nous en avons été informés seulement la veille de notre arrivée), le petit-déjeuner était très décevant et il était difficile de trouver du personnel sur place. Malgré notre départ anticipé motivé par l’ensemble de ces problèmes, aucun remboursement des deux nuits non utilisées ne nous a été proposé.

Es un excelente lugar, tranquilo, limpio, excelente atención y rodeado de naturaleza.

Un staff super gentil toujours prêt à aider, un cadre époustouflant petit déjeuner avec vue plongeante sur la nature, on peut aussi prendre sa douche avec cette même vue! Je recommande sans hésitation

Une petite montée pour accéder à la ville et aux cascades mais l'hostel en vaut la chandelle! Et on peut prendre des moto taxis facilement

The reception was very nice and the views were beautiful

There were bugs (not bed bugs) everywhere and there was no on site staff to help late at night or early in the morning. We got locked out of our room and no one was there to help us. We ended up missing our tour because it took over an hour for someone to come to help us get into our room. We also had a question at night and messaged reception about how to heat water and no one responded. Our bed also had bugs in the sheets (not bed bugs) and there was a scorpion in the shower.

Amazing jungle eco lodge, set 20 minutes walk from town so it’s lovely a quiet and away from the loud blaring music and traffic of Minca Centre. Stunning view, amazing staff, beautiful shower and bathroom view, everywhere always super clean and tidy. Good WiFi in communal but doesn’t really work in the dorm room. Great hammocks. Definitely recommend!

Could do with some mosquito nets in communal areas so you can relax outside without being eaten alive and use the WiFi. Was a shame to have to hide from mosquitos in the dorm room sometimes

Gorgeous location and views, saw two toucans and many humming birds. Gorgeous sunsets and lovely staff with great advise on activities, had good mosquito nets / protection

Restaurant was closed as of when we went which was annoying, and breakfast was mediocre

Our stay here was amazing, we really loved the place, the food, staff is super friendly and helpful. It was a perfect place to disconnect and enjoy the nature.😇

I appreciated the setting, the care for the environment, the beautiful construction, the dining area and the breakfast! It was wonderfully quiet and a nice walk through the forest to town. A real destination place!

I liked everything, except very low water pressure in the showers. So low, I couldn’t wash my hair )-:

La ubicación y el respeto por la naturaleza del entorno. Es un lugar hermoso, hecho con cariño y lleno de detalles.

Recomiendo poner pasamanos en las zonas de acceso y tránsito. Hay que respetar tanto la naturaleza como los derechos de las personas con movilidad limitada.

Le projet eco lodge est superbe ! Le personnel est adorable. L’endroit en pleine nature, les différentes terrasses vue sur la végétation luxuriante, des toucans et autres oiseaux ainsi que des singes ! Coucher de soleil magnifique ! Le petit déjeuner est bon ! La douche et les toilettes sont propres, ouvertes sur la nature tout en préservant l’intimité ! On peut donc voir des colibris en prenant sa douche… Le dortoir bénéficient de lits avec moustiquaires pratiques et de petits coffres pour les effets personnels Excellent rapport qualité prix !

L’accès au lodge est un peu difficile (20 min à pied en contre bas de Minca) avec de nombreuses marches, mais si on aime marcher le site en vaut la peine (et sinon des motos taxi depuis Minca peuvent vous y amener) La route est assez proche et peut être bruyante en journée mais calme la nuit

Beliggenheden i junglen, var helt fantastisk. Vi kunne se utroligt mange forskellige fugle, bl.a. kolibrier, fra vores veranda. Skønt med en hængekøje på verandaen. Ude-bruseren var super lækker. God morgenmad. Vi kunne parkere vores bil, inde bag lågen.

Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt! Die Zimmer sind offen und man war inmitten der Natur, aber trotzdem gut vor Insekten geschützt. Selten haben wir wo so gut geschlafen im Urlaub, weil wir wirklich mit den Geräuschen der Natur einschlafen durften. Die Stadt war zu Fuß gut innerhalb von 15 Minuten erreichbar. Das Essen im zugehörigen Restaurant war ebenfalls sehr gut! Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen

Es wurden uns leider ein paar Dinge nicht erklärt, zum Beispiel wie der Wasserfilter im Zimmer funktioniert. Wir sind uns auch nicht sicher ob unsere Cottage auch nur begrenzt Strom hatte, da wir an zwei Tagen hintereinander einen Stromausfall hatten, der die ganze Nacht andauerte.

The breakfast was really good with a bit of variety in what can be ordered. The staff were friendly. The place was cleaned and well maintained. The food was amazing and the views especially for sunset was wonderful!

The top bunks in the dorm were a bit hard to get into (the ladder was narrow and there was a mosquito net).

Decent breakfast and awesome staff who were lovely. Also saw a toucan on my last day which was a highlight! Rooms are nice and comfortable albeit my dorm bed was a bit hot (my bed didn't have a fan, others did). Great price

Super schöne Unterkunft mit liebevoll eingerichteten Bungalows mitten im Wald (Erwachen zu Vogelgesang, ideal zum Vögel beobachten vom Bungalow aus). Sehr feines Essen, verschiedene Frühstücksvarianten. Sehr freundliches Personal.

A wonderfully calm and welcoming space, with the warmest, most hospitable hosts. I especially loved that Frederico took the time to share the mission and story behind the place — it gives it a real sense of purpose and makes it feel like far more than just somewhere to sleep. Everything was excellent, but the food truly stood out. The yuca pizzas in particular are absolutely incredible. Getting into town is straightforward too, whether you walk the trail or hop on a motor taxi.

Es un lugar mágico, en medio de una reserva natural, puedes descansar y desconectarte, pero a la vez se encuentra cerca del pueblo. Los baños secos tienen excelente ventilación y siempre se encuentran limpios, no hay olor, excelente la construcción, y la ducha es super reconfortante, buena presión y siempre la temperatura se encuentra super agradable. El personal es amoroso, atento, personaliza la atención haciéndote sentir que les importa tu experiencia. Tuve la oportunidad de conocer a los dueños y son super agradables y comprometidos con el ecosistema y el turismo ecologico. El restaurante se destaca por sus excelentes platillos, sabrosos y abundantes. El desayuno es delicioso, recomiendo elegir desayuno incluido, vale la pena. Es una área natural en la montaña, super acondicionado para que la estadía sea súper confortable, pero es naturaleza, se consciente de ello y lleva repelente y estate dispuesto a caminar por escaleras y tu experiencia será maravillosa. Detalle extraordinario: el restaurante tiene la mejor vista para contemplar uno de los mejores atardeceres que visto en mi vida. Agua para beber fria y caliente disponible siempre. Todo extraordinario.

Great from check-in to check-out. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I upgraded to a private room and they made it super easy for me. The food is delicious and the location is incredible, in nature (although close to the road). During my stay I saw dozens of hummingbirds, a toucan and an anteater from the main deck. I was quite sad to leave!

A arquitetura é bonita e o pôr do sol realmente é lindo lá de cima. A moça da recepção é um amor.

É afastado do centro, fica na beira da estrada. Tem que subir um monte de degraus pra chegar lá e isso é horrível pra quem tá com mala/mochila pesada. O banheiro é de compostagem, não dá descarga, eu particularmente senti muito nojo quando vi aquilo e não consegui usar, fui embora, então não cheguei a dormir no hostel q tb estava sem energia quando cheguei e eu precisava de internet pra trabalhar. Como não dormi, não posso avaliar os quartos.

Tolles Ambiente mitten in der Natur, ein wunderschöner Blick und ein sehr netter Besitzer. Die Atmosphäre ist familiär und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

The staff is very friendly, helpful and competent, as are the owners. It has been built ecologically, the location is peaceful, in the middle of the forest with amazing sunsets. The food from the kitchen is tasty and made with care.

I don't have any complaints! It is a nice 20 minute walk to the town. If you have problem climbing stairs, I would not recommend this place.

The breakfast was great, especially the pancake. The whole hostel is very welcoming, great vibe, nice chill zone with hammocks, comfy work area. The beds were good too. Like the whole eco concept.

The only thing I would say they could improve is add a little shelf by the beds or sockets for the second floor beds. Have a long cord otherwise. Also cold shower (not a fan)

De não ter cozinha

Nun das dritte Mal in diesem Paradies! Diesmal nicht im Bettenlager sondern in privater kleiner Lodge. Alles mit viel Liebe und Naturmaterialien gebaut. Alles strahlt eine wundervolle Energie aus. Das ganze Team kümmert sich perfekt um die Gäste. Herzliche Dank Johann

Piẹknie zaprojektowane miejsce, wpasowane w otaczającą przyrodẹ. Dormitorium bardzo przestrzenne, jasne, wygodne łóżka. Łatwość dojechania autem i możliwiść zaparkowania. 20 minut pieszo do centrum. Bardzo smaczne śniadania i kawa.

Wunderschöner Ort, mit Liebe zum Detail und nachhaltig gebaut. Sehr aufmerksames Personal, die Hütte liegt buchstäblich mitten im Dschungel, super sauber und komfortabel. Das Frühstück ist köstlich, alles mit lokalen Produkten zubereitet. Das Einzige, was man beachten sollte, sind die vielen Treppen.

Für ältere Menschen nicht ideal, sehr anspruchsvolle und anstrengende Anstiege.

I really enjoyed staying at Sol de Minca. The concept of sustainable eco lodges was exactly what I was interested in. The owner and his family did such a great job when developing the land and accommodations. Their story, effort and knowledge is visible in every aspect. The staff is so friendly, the food is delicious and definitely the pizzas are unique and worth trying! Walking to town is also an adventure and when you know the route it's a lovely walk. Even when you have an issue, the staff will immediately fix it for you. I had a lot of fun and for sure will be back in the future.

In the dorm you can hear traffic from the road during the evening. But using a good set of ear plugs this wasn't too much of a problem.

Really nice hostel set out of town, great owners and lovely atmosphere. Great balcony to watch birds from. Great GF pizza.

Family owned eco hostel just outside of Minca. It's super peaceful and the most beautiful views. Great co-workspace with equally beautiful views and fast/reliable WiFi The breakfast and other food are fresh and delicious. The shower feels like a dream watching over nature. Very friendly and welcoming staff and the dogs are a great bonus! Beautiful walk through nature to the village which only takes 20 min max! Yoga or meditation space available at the hostel too.

Everything was perfect

I felt that it is an hostal built with love and awareness of the environment around. Because of that you can see and hear the birds and other animals around. It is truly an experience in and by itself. The staff were accommodating every time we asked for help to get around town and the food is delicious, specially the juices and the yuca pizza!

We loved everything. The beautiful views, hammocks, bungalows, bathrooms, surroundings and really helpful staff 🥰

La relación alojamiento-naturaleza. Presentan muy bien un lugar para desconectarte un poco.

Poca oferta de actividades para realizar, ya que al estar ubicado lejos del pueblo, quizás podrían ofrecer mas posibilidades para las personas.

La philosophie du respect de la nature et des traditions autochtones, l'accueil, l'attention au détails. On se sentait la bienvenue et ça se sentait que c'est un établissement familial. C'était très zen. Les déjeuners et la vue était magnifique.

Bisschen Abwechslung beim Frühstück hat gefehlt (nach einer Woche) und der Weg ist anstrengend ins Dorf, aber zu Not kann man ein Mototaxi nehmen.

Todo es hermoso, un lugar muy acogedor en medio de la naturaleza, muy limpio todo y el personal muy amable .

Espacios amplios, en un lugar rodeado de selva con vistas hermosas desde los espacios comunes. Ideal para descansar y ver pajaros de todos colores. La habitación compartida comoda, con mosquitero en todas las camas (la escalera podria ser mas ancha, nada mas 😅). Los baños estan limpios siempre, y al ser abierto permite buena ventilación. Es baño seco, pero es incluso mas higienico que el tradicional siendo compartido. Ofrecen agua potable gratis, los desayunos son muy ricos al igual que el resto de la comida, con una carta variada y precios razonables. El staff increible!!

Es solo para aclarar, para acceder al alojamiento hay que subir unos cuantos escalones, que puede ser cansador pero las vistas valen la pena. Todo el alojamiento se comunica por escaleras, por lo cual no seria indicado para personas con movilidad reducida. Y otra aclaración, la cocina cierra temprano porque el personal vive en el pueblo, asi que hay que planificar la cena o buscarla en Minca que esta a 20 min caminando

Healthy breakfast sourced from local ingredients, a clean bedroom with mosquito nets, the most amazing view of the forest from shower, but most importantly, a quiet and peaceful ecologically sustainable environment. One of the few accommodations I’ve stayed in which I genuinely did not want to leave!

L'emplacement, au milieu de la nature, l'accueil impeccable, très bon petit déjeuner, attention à ne pas oublier vos clés dans la chambre hahahah, sinon tout était parfait !

Sol de Minca is a wonderful place! Probably my new favourite hostel! The location is amazing, the food is fantastic, and the hosts are super nice and accommodating!

Honestly I can't think of anything. Maybe just having access to use a basic kitchen would have made it even better.

The location is wonderful and the team is really great, friendly from the start and incredibly helpful. It’s the best place I stayed in Minca. It’s a bit quieter than many other hostels and that was exactly why I was looking for. The breakfast was also really delicious. I would recommend it to everyone!
