Agriturismo Fontanelle vs Similar Hotels

Mixed: some guests appreciated large rooms, while others found rooms dark or in need of renovation.

Mixed reports: some guests praised general cleanliness while others reported poor room cleaning and issues (zanzare, odore di urina in aree common).

Generally positive: property is close to some of the most beautiful local beaches and Otranto; however beach access is indirect and shuttle is lacking, requiring a walk or vehicle.

Mixed service: restaurant staff repeatedly described as friendly and attentive, but reception and front-desk service and guest assistance were often criticized (unfriendly reception, little help with transfers/parking).

Polarized but strong point for many: one review describes evening meals as excellent and superior to some restaurants; others found dinners merely sufficient and lunchtime options limited.

Good facilities like a praised pool and well-kept grounds, but missing or inconsistent services (no reliable shuttle, limited animation, occasional lack of pool assistance, no elevator to first floor for some).

Several guests judged the price/quality ratio negatively and felt the hotel did not meet expected 4-star standards.
