Really spacious room with super comfy beds. The room was also spotlessly clean, and has a washing machine. The owners were really nice and we were invited to drink tea with one of them which was a lovely experience. We were also collected and dropped off at the train station free of charge. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is owned and managed by an exceptionally kind and warm-hearted lady. Despite the language barrier, we had a great chat with her over some amazing tea from the region and from Laos. During the conversation, she said that used tea leaves are often used to make an omelette with, but that the dish is not sold in restaurants or markets. When we expressed disappointment over that, she turned up next afternoon at our room with a 'tea omelette'!! There was no expectation of money for the tea tasting and omelette! The place offers exceptional value for money given the size of the rooms and cleanliness, and the warmth and generosity of the owners.

Not a criticism at all, but the place can be hard to find - we were picked up from the train station by the owner's daughter, which made it easy.

The room was large, clean and with a large confortable bed and the hotel is in a good location. The staff of the hotel including Mr Li and Ms Zhu and otherr are very nice and help you to what you need.

I'd like to thank the hosts for the excellent reception and room quality. The room is big and very comfortable and clean. It is well located and takes around 10 minutes by car to get to Mekong River Night Market. Although there were language differences, it was pretty easy to communicate and they helped me a lot with some requests. Overall, I highly recommend it !!

The location is great just behind the water splashing square. We were picked up by the owners from the airport and dropped of at the railway station when we left. On arrival you are invited in for tea and told to drop in anytime you wanted to talk and drink more tea. We were even given some tea to take home with us. A washing machine in each room was also a plus.

La ragazza è fantastica!! Abbiamo avuto un ritardo di un giorno causa sciopero di Lufthansa e non ci ha fatto pagare la notte nonostante non fossimo più nei tempi. Ci è venuta a prendere all'aeroporto. Ci ha accompagnato alla stazione. Ci ha portato 3 giorni in giro con la macchina al monte del the con una cifra modica (3 e mezza per andare e altrettanto per tornare). Per finire ci ha accompagnato all'ultimo hotel che avevamo prenotato che non era il suo. Insomma una ragazza davvero gentile e disponibile. Grazie ancora!!

L'hôtel se situe au 6eme étage d'un grand immeuble, juste a côté d'une grande place Très animée le soir. 10 mn en taxi pour rejoindre le marché nocturne et un grand super marché rt-mart à 2 pas. Le parc Manting est a 15-20 mm a pied. Le frigo et la machine à laver dans la chambre sont un vrai plus ! Et nous avons même été conduits a l'aéroport Très tôt le matin. Un grand merci à tous !

Our room was located on the sixth floor, featuring a large window overlooking the city center and several of its main attractions. The hotel was perfectly situated, close to everything. Mr. and Mrs. Zhu were wonderful people and extremely helpful with everything we needed.

I can’t think of anything that could have been better—it already exceeded all our expectations. The purpose of this trip was to learn about Chinese tea, its culture and history in general, and Pu-erh tea in particular. From our very first meeting with Mr. and Mrs. Zhu, I realized how knowledgeable they were about tea and its culture. Initially, we faced some language barriers in our communication, but with the help of translation apps and a great deal of patience, it was soon resolved.

The location is convenient, with several restaurants nearby, there is even a large supermarket just around the corner, making shopping extremely easy. The guest rooms are very spacious, the bed is clean and comfortable.

The room is very spacious and extremely comfortable—perfect for resting with a cup of tea while enjoying the beautiful view through the large windows. We especially appreciated the calm atmosphere. The host’s hospitality really stood out: always polite, friendly, and ready to help whenever needed. The bathroom was spotless and generously sized, which made our stay even more comfortable. There is also a shared kitchen where we prepared toast and coffee, and it was a great place to meet and chat with other guests. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have already decided to come back when we return from Jingmai Mountain.

Very large comfortable room well equipped with comfortable beds, very good shower, good views. The hotel rooms are on the 6th floor of a condominium. Several good restaurants within a few metres of the hotel. Large screen TV with some channels with English subtitles.

None of the staff spoke any English, but with online translator it was possible to communicate. Very few banks nearby where I could use a card to buy Yuan. Also very restricted internet communication.

Staff picked us up from the airport. The room was very luxurious and clean. The location was amazing. If you ask them they are happy to brew you some delicious tea. Everyone was helpful there.

Amazing lociation in middle of the town, close to a fun nightmarket. The room is big with outstanding view. The washing-machine in our room was a delight. The owners are a big fans of tea, so you always have the chance to taste with them.

I'm not used to hyperboles, but this may pretty much be the best place I've ever been, quality-price ratio. The building is cool, the room is huge, spotless, full of natural light and with a lovely view. The bathroom is great. And the location, wow, couldn't ask for more, just on the main square, close to everything I need, including the riverside to walk or run and a great night market that personally prefer nth times more than the famous one on the other side of the river. The host is amazing, always ready to help, he does a free pick-up from the airport or tran station, and can sell u the treat tea his uncle makes. Definitely a place I'll be nostalgic about :)

This was the best value room we have ever stayed in. It was huge, the beds were comfortable, and there was a washing machine and laundry detergent which came in so handy for us. The room was so affordable. I communicated with a woman on WeChat she was very helpful. The location was great - across the river from the big night market which we liked because it was more local on this side. Also there was a smaller night market very near the hotel that we much preferred over the big one. It was less commercialized and touristy in the area of the hotel which we prefer. If you want something more commercialized and geared towards tourism, stay across the river.

Fantastic staff, so friendly, feels like a family run business where they really care and look after you. Great room, spacious with excellent aircon, massive comfortable bed, strong shower. Great location near lots of good food and 5 mins by taxi to the night market on other side of the river (a must visit).

The hotel sevice impressive us since the first day we arrived. We were picked up from the airport. The staff are full of service mind. I have asked them to have a sugar for making my coffee in the room, the hotel owner was running to find it and gave to us keenly. The hotel owner and son has incredibly gentle and helpful. The other staff also helped me to pay to the taxi when we had problem with the payment App. The last day of our stay was so impressive. The hotel owner drove us to the airport and gave us Chinese traditional teas with a big smile. The location is great, near to the night market along the river and hotpot restaurants around. The beds are so comfy and also the bedding wares are good quality. We felt like home in the hotel. Impressive and warm welcome. I definitely recommend this place.

WiFi is weak

The room is cosy, comfortable and clean, I slept really well. Not far from the hotel is a little night market where you can eat great food. The hotel is family owned and they helped me so much to make my stay great and visit Xishuangbanna. The service and the help were exceptional!

Owners were VERY accommodating and helpful. Location was near many options for food and entertainment.

Better lighting over the bathroom sink could improve morning routines.

It would have been nice to have an iron in the room. If the property plans to have more westerners then I would recommend providing coffee as well.

The service at this hotel was exceptional. The staff were always attentive and eager to assist with any requests. They made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was clean and comfortable, and the overall experience was very pleasant.

The room and the attached toilet is large and clean. It has a balcony. Located to the night market and also the morning markets Toilet wares are clean and sparkling white. The owner is very helpful and agreed to my request for pick up from the railway station.

Coloured bedsheet and blanket were used. Hard to determine it's cleanliness. There were no smell though.

Warm welcome with a tea ceremony, very large, clean apartment in a central location. I was taken to the train station the next morning (just outside of Xishuangbanna). The staff are extremely helpful and courteous.

We arrived late in the evening, still had the airport pickup by the hotel. The staff is very helpful, providing value suggestions on the siteseeings and can help to book the tickets with competetive price.

Unbelievable large room in the city area, very well located within food streets and amenities. Quiet restful atmosphere. Owner (Mr Zhu) is so friendly and so hospitable that we extended another night on the spot! He even arranged pickup and drop off at the train station for us. Room even comes with a washer for your laundry. Great views of the city and surrounding due to it been on a high floor. Remember to have tea with Mr Zhu!!

The hotel is a small family run affair on the sixth floor of a high rise. It has an excellent location and the owners were extremely friendly and cooperative with special requests. We ended up hiring a car and driver from them to move around the sights at a reasonable price. They provided us with lots of advice based on their local knowledge. The bonus was a washer in the room. Clothes could be dried easily with the hangers by the window. I will likely return to this city next year and if so, I will be staying at the same exact place.

Great stuff!! Perfect hotel for us as the landlady was so helpful with translating, recommending tours, arranging things and travel. We highly recommend staying here for the reason she is really attentive and there is a cute and friendly toy poodle mei mei and they really make you feel at home and welcomed! She has unlimited tea from her tea plantation and happy to offer you real good tea in a "tea ceremony setting" and conversation which was sweet. She can help arrange travel with her brother in law who was very friendly and helpful as well which made our stay very relaxing and enjoyable. There's is local shops and restaurants we liked such as Alan's which served Thai style food and a very very good dai restaurant a few minutes walk away that serve traditional food different from the usual Chinese such as a sticky pinapple rice and food steamed in banana leaves, which we forgot the name. The rooms are very spacious and are all uniquely decorated in Laotian style decor so they're named rather then numbered and it seems there's only around 20+ rooms in the large corridor so I imagine it gets very popular during peak times. There was a personal washing machine, air con, , swinging basket chairs, tables, big windows and sectioned off area to relax and hang clothes. The bedding was comfortable and bathroom was really big with the usual amenities provided to ensure a relaxing stay. Location: Its located in a shared building space on the 6th floor opposite meinten livehouse and very Central overlooking white lotus shaped skyscrapers and temples thst come alive at night with the led lighting! Its quite central in a newer developed area with lots of local shops, restaurants and walking distance to night markets and the town square where around 7pm onwards there's amazing local ethnic groups of people playing music and dancing including fitness classes.

Good location, next to the barbecue night market and the bar scene along the river. Very sweet owner who is in the tea business and will make great tea for you. Some Chinese knowledge is helpful.

They have pickup and drop off service! This is nice in peak season! I was also able to wash clothes and dry them on a drying rack! It helped me a lot! It was a good distance from the night market and other attractions! The managers were very helpful in figuring out transportation and distances! I would highly recommend this place, but i would bring ear plugs to help sleep!

It was too noisy! People stayed up and made noise until early morning!

The location is great, it is only a few minute walk to the night market near the riverbank and the Manting Park is also in walking distance. the area has many smaller restaurants with great (local) food. The apartment (2 rooms and bathroom) is spacious and clean and the bed is comfy. The owners are super-friendly and own tea-plantations in Yunnan and Laos, and can explain loads about tea. In the reception room there is a big tea table where tea can be drunk all day long for free.

I once saw a cockroach running around in the living room of the apartment, and it was hiding under the day-bed (where underneath it was not cleaned in a long time). There is no possibility to eat breakfast or dinner at the Aparthotel, but that said, there are enough options nearby.

Enough space for 4 people, everything at your fingertips, very helpful and knowledgeable owner. Great to have washing machine and huge sunny windows to dry clothes.
