The place was spotless and very spacious and comfortable. We had a lovely stay.

Unfortunately my daughter was ill while on holiday, which was made a little less stressful by the help and understanding of the owners of the villa, when it became difficult to leave on time at check out.

Een prachtig en schoon appartement en van echt alle gemakken voorzien zoals een keuken met oven, airfryer, tosti apparaat, nespresso machine en ga zo maar door. Heerlijk bed wat echt comfortabel ligt. Een wasmachine zodat je af en toe even lekker een wasje kan draaien. Goede airconditioning die het gehele appartement goed koel kan houden. Het zwembad om lekker bij te kunnen liggen en zwemmen. De ligging is ook fantastisch en op 15 minuten lopen van de oude en nieuwe stad en het strand.

Er zou iets meer aandacht besteed kunnen worden aan de netheid bij en van het zwembad. Er stond best wat onkruid tussen de stenen en ik zou en zwembad stofzuiger kopen die in de nacht het zwembad schoon kan maken.

Πιθανως η καλυτερη villa μεσα στην πολη της Ροδου! Έμεινα στο συγκεκριμένο κατάλυμα και πραγματικά πέρασα υπέροχα! Ο χώρος ήταν εξαιρετικά καθαρός, άνετος και πολύ προσεγμένος, με ένα υπέροχο και άνετο κρεβάτι που έκανε τη διαμονή ακόμα πιο ξεκούραστη. Η ηρεμία και η όμορφη ατμόσφαιρα του χώρου ήταν ιδανικές για χαλάρωση. Η οικοδεσπότης ήταν πολύ ευγενικη, φιλικη και εξυπηρετικη, κάνοντάς μας να νιώσουμε αμέσως άνετα και ευπρόσδεκτοι. Όλα ήταν όπως ακριβώς πρέπει να είναι για μια όμορφη και ξέγνοιαστη διαμονή. Σίγουρα θα το επέλεγα ξανά και το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα. Σημειωση ! Εμεινα στο διαμερισμα 5 που παρολοπου ηταν lower to the ground , ηταν ολοκαινουργιο κ ειχε τα παντα μεσα! Επισης ηταν τοσο δροσερο που μεναμε μεσα αρκετα! Εχει προσβαση σε μια φανταστικη πισινα κ αυλη !

The property was clean, spacious, and even larger in person than it appeared in the online photos. The swimming pool was a wonderful bonus—peaceful, serene, and often nearly empty—with plenty of sun loungers for everyone. The apartment itself felt safe, and the location, while not right around the corner from town, was still very doable. It took about 10 to 15 minutes to walk into the center, and there was a small grocery store conveniently located just down the street. The only real complaint was the layout of the shower. It was placed in a room off the kitchen, which could create significant privacy issues if more than two people were staying in the apartment. Aside from that, the stay was comfortable, relaxing, and overall enjoyable.

The pool and the apartments size was amazing

The only thing I appreciated was the cleanliness of the apartment.

The property has several different apartments (at least five), but this is not clearly shown during the booking process and there is no way to choose your unit in advance. As a result, I was assigned apartment number 5, which turned out to be a claustrophobic basement with almost no natural light, a tiny high window, and no privacy. Guests from the pool area can see directly inside the bedroom, which is extremely uncomfortable. The kitchen and bathroom had no windows, and the real conditions were completely different from the photos shown on Booking. Additionally, my mobile phone had no signal at all inside the apartment due to the underground location, which made the stay even more inconvenient. UPDATE: The host replied claiming that I “cancelled before arrival” and therefore should not have the right to review. This is false. I checked in at apartment 5 on August 5th at 15:00 and stayed inside for 6 hours. The cancellation option was still available only for that day, and I used it because the unit was an undisclosed basement with no natural light, no privacy, and conditions completely different from the photos. My review is legitimate and based on an actual stay. The host’s attempt to deny it by stating false information only confirms the problem.

We had the best stay in the standard double room. It was a good size, clean, and had everything that we needed (fridge, cooker, coffee machine etc). The pool was quiet with another sunbeds for everybody and the location was a perfect short walk into the busy old town. There is also a supermarket and bakery a few minutes down the road for essentials which was very helpful.

The only thing was the lack of blinds!

Wij verbleven in nummer 5. De locatie was uitstekend en op ca. 15 minuten lopen naar oude stad en nieuwe stad. Zwembad hebben we geen gebruik van gemaakt maar zag er wel heel gezellig uit. De service was super en er stond een fles wijn voor ons klaar. Verder reageerde de hostels heel erg snel als we vragen hadden. De douche liep slecht weg en er waren geen haakjes je dit is enorm snel opgelost met een leuke attentie van de host. Top service. Verder was het van alle gemakken voorzien en zelfs een wasmachine. Handdoeken en minnen was er volop. Rodos is erg leuk. Wij hadden een auto gehuurd en veel gezien in de omgeving. Verder ook veel gelopen.

Er was een muffe lucht in het appartement en best vochtig ook binnen. Hierdoor droogde de was aan het wasrek ook niet goed. Dit omdat het appartement onder het gebouw ligt met een trap naar beneden. We hadden geen terras en dit was voor ons niet helemaal duidelijk bij het boeken maar vonden we wel jammer en we hadden dit appartement niet geboekt als dit duidelijker was geweest maar een ander nummer geboekt.. Overige appartementen hadden wel een balkon. Ons terras was een stukje voor de voordeur onderaan de trap. Verder waren er alleen ramen aan de bovenkant zonder jaloezie of iets dergelijks waardoor je in de avond zo in de slaapkamer kon kijken en minder privacy had. Verder was alles top en service super van de host.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa 56. It is a fabulous, spacious apartment with quality furnishings, fixtures and fittings. The apartment was very clean and had everything you needed. The balcony was lovely and overlooked the fantastic pool and garden. The garden was a peaceful oasis with birds and dragonflies, perfect for relaxing after sightseeing. The apartment was in a great location too, right in the middle of everything - only a short walk into the beautiful old town, to the coast or to the new town. There was also a really good supermarket just a 2 minute walk away and slightly further, an excellent bakery - Moka Bakery - that we went to far too often! Near the old stadium, there is also a great coffee shop/bar called Piatsa gusto Sofouli. Overall, we would highly recommend Villa 56 and will definitely go again if we go back to Rhodes.

It's hard to find anything negative, but if pressed, a bedside lamp would have been useful for reading in bed.

Het zwembad en de ruime tuin vonden wij erg fijn. Ook was het een ruim appartement met alle voor ons benodigde faciliteiten. Er waren ook grote tv-schermen, maar die hebben wij niet gebruikt. In de slaapkamer was er een hor voor het raam, zodat wij nogal eens het raam openden midden in de nacht, dan heb je ook geen airco nodig. In de slaapkamer is lekker veel kastruimte aanwezig. Verder hoorde je in de slaapkamer nauwelijks of geen geluiden vh verkeer door de straat. We hebben de buren ook nauwelijks gehoord. In de gang heb je kasten waar linnengoed en handdoeken in liggen, daardoor hebben wij zelf 1 keer nieuwe handdoeken kunnen pakken. Vlakbij is een fijne relatief grote supermarkt en nog ietsje verder bevindt zich een leuk zaakje - Piatsa gusto - waar je heerlijke broodjes, gebak en koffie (to go) kunt halen. Verder zit je op 10 minuten afstand lopen van zowel de oude stad als het strand. De eigenaresse is een lieve vrouw die het je naar de zin wil maken, ze heeft ons op de 1e ochtend water en heerlijke broodjes gebracht.

Je moet beseffen dat dit een woonwijk is, waar veel verkeer langskomt. Als je in de tuin bent, ben je echter niet zichtbaar voor mensen op de straat, wel een beetje voor de achter- of bovenburen, maar die hebben we nauwelijks in de tuin gezien. Het is ontzettend druk in heel Rhodos stad, veel verkeer. We zijn 7 jaar geleden in de buurt geweest, toen was het wel ècht iets rustiger dan nu. In het appartement zaten best wat fruitvliegjes, het meest in de badkamer. Waarschijnlijk is het vochtig in het appartement. Als je binnenkomt, ruikt het ook wat vochtig. Het bed is redelijk goed - ietwat hard maar daar houd ik wel van - je glijdt wel iets naar elkaar toe. Ik denk dat je zelf de prullenbak moet legen, daar werd niets mee gedaan in de dagen dat wij er waren. Wel is tussentijds een keer het bed verschoond. In de badkamer mis ik een stopcontact voor scheerapparaat of tandenborstel en extra haakjes om je kleding op te hangen bv. Heb ik al bij de eigenaresse aangegeven, zij reageerde hier heel goed op, dus misschien komt dit nog.

The location was great. Only a 10-15 minute walk from the Old Town. Private pool was a real treat. Very well stocked small supermarket just a 2 minute walk away. Very good communication from the hosts.

WiFi could have been better. Footpaths in general in poor repair. Wasn't an issue for us but wouldn't be great for anyone with a buggy or wheelchair.

Lovely apartment

Closer to restaurants and bars

The apartment is ideal for couples and is located a 15 min walk from the old town and restaurants and bars. The pool area is quiet and has enough sun beds for all guests. We stayed in apartment 4 which has a lovely small balcony for morning coffee and a sundowner.

The private pool in apartment 1 was amazing as it got so much sun in the morning, so we could go for a quick dip and sunbathe before heading out for the day. Plus it had lots of furniture to sunbathe and sit comfortably, and other handy things like an ironing board and clothes horse. The owner left us a bottle of wine and some crisps and coffee to get us started, which was really nice. Meanwhile there were plenty of towels, and the two TVs were huge and had all the streaming services we could log into at night, plus the bed was comfy. The apartment was only a 10 minute walk into town, too. Best of all the owner let us have a late check out on our last day, which meant we could store our luggage and have a shower after the beach before leaving for a late evening flight.

The pool was a little bit old and marked at the bottom, but it was such a minor complaint and there was an automated pool cleaner there.

The property was beautiful, spacious and spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need. Wine, water and snacks were generously provided on our arrival and there were plenty of extra towels and bedding available if needed. The outside areas and the pool were also well maintained with beautiful plants and shrubs all around. The pool area was very relaxing and again, spotlessly clean. The apartment was well situated, just a 12 minute walk into the Old Town. Kallia and Phillip are wonderful hosts. We didn’t require any assistance during our stay as everything was perfect. Kallia messaged us on arrival with her telephone number informing us that she was always available if required.

If I had one small complaint which is not related to the property is that the pavements in the area outside the old Town are in need of repair.

Private pool excellent. Location excellent. Neighbourhood quiet and safe. Supermarket close by. Pharmacy close by. Staff communication pre arrival excellent, however unable to comment further as unlike previous occupants we did not see anyone!

Lamp in lounge didn't work. Only one light over dining table worked so had to use extractor light. Blinds offer no privacy as you can see through them which means people in the property to the rear can look straight into the living room. Drive way for access to rear property is right alongside private pool which again compromised privacy, published photos show it screened with bamboo, however it was not screened during our stay and driveway is frequently used by three cars and pedestrians accessing the property. Please see photo. Shower lead gets in the way as it is attached to the side wall of the bath and hangs across, annoying when showering. Only one sun shade despite feedback from previous reviews as this not enough for a pool that is in full sun all day. Constant problem with ants by the front door. This feedback is intended to improve things for future holiday makers not to be overly critical just completely honest.

Beautiful new apartment and private pool was divine, Probably best accommodation we have stayed in. Whilst not in “town” being amongst the residential area we found local gems, and bus to the beach. And it is only a short to both new and old town. Absolutely outstanding host and property.

Prachtige accomodatie. Heel ruim en onberispelijk schoon. Alles was voorzien. Goed uitgeruste keuken, heerlijk bed. Er is aan alles gedacht: wasmachine, strijkplank, strijkijzer… Een ruime hoeveelheid handdoeken… Het zwembad en de idyllische tuin waren geweldig. De ligging is perfect, in een nette wijk - net buiten het centrum, overal vlakbij en toch rustig. Supermarkt in de straat. De host is ongelooflijk gastvrij. Van begin tot einde was de communicatie top! Wij mochten later uitchecken omdat we een late vlucht hadden. De host stelde dit voor op eigen initiatief. Je voelt je hier echt thuis. Niet alleen owv het appartement maar ook door de warme en persoonlijke benadering van de host onderscheidt deze accommodatie zich van vele anderen. Wij komen zeker nog terug!

The property was spacious, clean and well appointed. It had all the facilities one could need. The pool, shared with the other apartments, was really lovely. The property was ideally situated within reasonable walking distance of the town, harbour and beaches. Communication with our host was excellent and they were very generous and supportive.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

The location was perfect could walk everywhere we needed. Supermarket very near and the pool was lovely and very peaceful. Enjoyed sitting on balcony. Everything was provided washing machine was great & handy.

Private pool in apt 1 was bigger than expected, and the staff were very kind and responsive. Apt was spacious, well privisioned and bed was comfy! Location is also nice distance from both new and old town, and nearest supermarket is practically next door! Also the restaurant Kalamakia down the road has the best souvlaki i've had in a decade!

The wifi router seemed to struggle a little with more than 2 devices, though it worked fairly consistantly. If you get a hire car, it can be tricky to get a space on the road nearby, though we did manage it throughout the week.

Poor quality of the apartment

The flat is modern, very spacious and well appointed. Spotlessly clean. The private pool made the holiday perfect. Not everyone wants TV while away.. However some evenings we personally enjoyed watching Prime n Apple TV on huge smart tvs (using our own log ins) at night when returned from evening out. The apartment is in a residential area .. it’s only a 10 min walk downhill to the old town, 15 mins to new town and about 20 - 25 mins to Elli Beach. It wouldn’t suit anyone with mobility problems… but fabulous for those who are reasonably fit enough to walk. The supermarket at end of the road was friendly, reasonable and stocked everything we needed. There’s an amazing bakers just up the road (I can testify for the gorgeous cakes, bread & rolls) and a super shoe shop near the bakery ( returned with 3 pairs of sandals !). Kalia host was lovely and took time to check on us. We would love to return.

The road at the front of the apartment is very busy .. although didn’t affect our holiday in any way. We hired a car for the 10 days … street parking nearby is a bit of a nightmare… but we managed.

Everything! It’s perfect. Beautifully decorated, functional, great location, private, well maintained garden and pool. Secure. Great facilities near - shops, bakery, pharmacy etc. fantastic staff.

Came here last year with my partner and returned this year with my family - had a great time like last time. The outdoor space and pool with the private pool apartment is perfect.

Nothing really. Ideally another sun umbrella round the pool (if I'm being picky) as pool area is in sun all day and there are two sunbeds, otherwise it was all good.

The apartment was great for a weeks stay. Kallia was friendly and approachable if we had an issue. She bought us pastries on our first morning - great. The pool was a great addition and very welcoming after a long day out at the beach or sightseeing. The pool had a Swim Jet which ensured you did some exercise in the pool. The pool area had sufficient loungers and umbrellas and it was a bit of a sun trap, and was kept clean and tidy. The area felt very safe and it was a about 10mins walk to either the old town or the beach, in fact the apartment was in a great location no car was needed if you just wanted to stay in Rhodes Town. There was no parking at the location and as we had a rental car we were at the mercy of getting a space on the busy road, we were able to get parking usually within 50 metres of the apartment without issue. The road outside is busy but as we were in Apt 4 we heard nothing, the sound proofing was excellent. The apartment was well equipped, and the air con worked well, thank goodness as in the afternoon the apt was in full sun for a number of hours. Just a note, Apt 4 to access it was some steep metal steps, so carrying cases if your mobility is not good would not be recommended, we were fine but just one to be aware of. Overall its the location, the owners, the apartment cleanliness/facilities and the great addition of the pool. We would not hesitate to stay again.

The apartment had everything we needed, the pool was perfect. A hidden gem in the area. The location is great for going down to the beach and into the old town. So easy to check in. The owners were very responsive and prompt with telling us all we needed to know before arriving. Luggage storage facilities for the day you check out.

Pool was fantastic, very warm, clean. Most of the time we had it to ourselves. Modern apartment with all the amenities you need. Friendly owner. Accommodating a later check out by 1hr. Close to supermarket. Quiet at night and good air con.

Minor point but quite a large 2 story high open staircase to enter apartment. Quite difficult with luggage etc.

Lovely apartment in a quiet suburb. Within walking distance of the Old and New Towns and, in the opposite direction, the ancient acropolis.

No negatives for us. It was downhill into town so uphill back.

The private pool was amazing, and having the full space of an apartment (rather than just a hotel room) made the holiday extra special and relaxing. Kallia was also so helpful and responsive - including bringing us breakfast pastries on our first morning!

The swimming pool was really lovely and used by us every day. Location of the apartment was great for getting in to the old town and accessing a supermarket. The apartment was spotless when we arrived which was really appreciated.

It would have been useful to have a little more information left in the apartment, like where to put rubbish and whether it was definitely okay to flush toilet paper.

Very clean, comfy and well equipped apartment. Central location 13 - 18 minute walk to the beach, old town and the shops. Very good supermarket close by. Lovely swimming pool. On our last day, the owners let us use the apartment until the afternoon when our taxi picked us up which was very helpful.

No balcony, which wasn’t really that clear in the description. Our terrace was just a small area by our front door, with the noisy road close by. No information in the apartment about what to do with the rubbish or local recommendations for restaurants or attractions etc.

Great location. I was able to walk into Old Town very easily and even ran to the coast and back for a 5k run. I loved the pool and had a lazy day just reading and swimming enjoying the pool to myself all day. Very comfortable and clean apartment

Everything! Apartment was super luxurious and very well maintained. Absolutely everything you need there really. The host was super lovely and accommodating. Left us some pastries one morning which was a really nice touch. This apartment is perfect if you want to discover a bit of Rhodes, really close to the Old Town and also lots of popular bars/restaurants nearby. Also great for those days where you just want to chill with a book by the pool! The pool was also absolutely amazing and clearly well looked after. Also massive thank you for letting us relax by the pool after our check-out time, we really did appreciate that!

The apartment is within walking distance to the beaches and Old Town. We had a wonderful stay and the staff were very friendly.

Felt like the best place to stay when in Rhodos! 10 mins. walking from the beach, city centre and old town. Good and save neighbourhood. Spacious and comfortable apartment, also clean and quiet. Entire Villa seemed well maintained. Pool felt like a private pool since only two other “appartments” could use it. Stayed with four people, so we had to use the sofa bed. Was surprisingly comfortable and big enough. Host was also very kind and extremely welcoming! Would definitely stay again.

Great location, lovely facilities, enjoyed using both pools! Hosts were lovely! The kitchen equipment was of good quality. There was a good number of towels and pool towels. It was a short walk to anywhere we wanted to go. Would definitely stay again if I was ever back in Rhodes.

Maybe info about bins (would have needed to change if staying any longer) & check out procedure in welcome letter. But very minor details in an otherwise perfect stay!
