Nice quiet location. Bush setting and still handy to the village and beach

An amazing location. With a fire pit, plenty big enough for 8 blokes to have yarns and chat. Fully equipped to be used straight away!

We had anticipated a view but our unit didn’t have this. Narrow winding uphill drive shared by other properties.

Second time we have stayed here and this time in a cabin. So lovely and quiet and private. Little deck with views out to the harbour you can sit with a coffee, read a book or daydream. Modern, very comfortable with lovely linens and everything for your stay thought of.

There is nothing to not like.

It felt like we were hidden away from society as we relaxed in a very comfortable tree house. The facilities were great. Having no oven was a little inconvient but we made it work quite easily.

Отзывчивый персонал, готовность помочь и пойти навстречу в решении проблем.

Немного подтекает душ и раковина в ванной, но не критично, нам просто принесли ещё полотенец. Некоторые неудобства может доставить ремонт /реконструкция на локации, но нам это не помешало-мы были в номере только утром и возвращались поздно вечером.

Great stay! Easy to find! Easy self check in with lock box for key outside the unit. I stayed in the Nikau studio and it was a dream. Great little room. From when I walked it there was a candle lit which made the room smell amazing! Great bath room with rain fall shower head! Didn’t want to leave! Would definitely recommend. Will be back in the future to stay more than one night!

Nothing enjoyed everything

This is a great place for a family or a quiet couples retreat and we would definitely stay again.

It's winter / off season so there were a couple of minor maintenance issues but these were promptly addressed.

Beautiful bush scenery. Modern, tasteful decor. Comfy seating. Nice bathroom. Nice bedrooms and bedding.

More English breakfast tea and fresh coffee plunger would have been the icing on the cake!

Waking up to the sun rise and view was exceptional. Nice new cabin with a very comfortable bed and cosy downer on the bed with the chilly temperatures. Heat pump warmed the place up quickly. Only 3 mins away from the event we went there for. Had a relaxing feel to the place. On only staying there for one night, we would have liked to have stayed an extra night to relax more. Would book again.

Beautiful secluded elevated environment, private and surrounded by native gardens. The staff are very friendly, helpful and go to extra lengths to ensure a wonderful stay. The furnishings are trendy and modern and everything you could possibly need is supplied.

Staff seemed friendly enough and the room was beautifully presented. Loved the scented candle on the arrival and the bathrooms were spotless.

The downstairs room that I was put in has a view of the car park and un less the blinds are drawn, everyone can see into your room. Up a one way gravel hill track to get there so I'd recommend using your 4x4 to get there.

The possums and the driveway is a little dangerous .

Being a little bit further away from town made for a quieter stay.

Unfortunately, I couldn't stay in Tui and Nikau due to an emergency with the apartment. Lovely Abby contacted me the day before my arrival and arranged another accommodation for me and took care of the extra cost. I had a wonderful time in Mangawhai. It was a pity, but I'm sure the apartment in Tui and Nikau would be great too. I hope I'd get the chance to stay there in the future.

Beautiful property and location. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Location was quiet tucked away in the bush with an amazing view across mangawhai.

The cabin was easy to find and nestled up in a bush setting. It was very private, and my whole stay was peaceful and tranquil. It had all the necessary furnishings and equipment for a short stay and everything was aesthetically co-ordinated so it felt very luxurious. It was an upgrade from what I had booked, which was a really pleasant surprise.

I couldn't find a teatowel to wipe the dishes.

Breakfast was not required or provided. This was an absolutely fantastic cabin. It was tastefully and subtly decorated with interesting pictures and pots. But the feeling was clean, neutral and minimal - very relaxing to be in. Also, the view down to the valley from the balcony was incredible and panoramic. Tropical woodland on both sides. So thoughtfully equiped with everything we could have wished for. Thank you so much.

Blinking lights on wall alarm all night and paper thin insulation from people residing above us. Could hear their every step.

Was super clean, modern and comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a nice getaway. Everything was new and beds and bedding were super comfortable. Grounds were tidy and loved the campfire idea of we had more time. The surrounding bush and views were all beautiful.

Loved the accomodation the only down side is it was on the pricey side if we were to stay longer.

Great location, spacious and comfortable one bed suite, very private and as it was the weekend it was quiet. Fabulous views. Good laundry facilities. Gorgeous crockery & glasses etc…..Netflix was complementary Definitely need a car to stay there! Would love to return on another trip to NZ. Some of the nicest meals we’ve had in the area too!!

There is a lot of building work going on around the area and on site which didn’t disturb us at all but I’m sure it could be noisy! The check in was easy with a lock box but we thought we would have our towels/bathroom refreshed after 2 nights but didn’t happen. Maybe we were supposed to book this but didn’t seem clear on the booking. This didn’t spoil our stay but thought it was worth mentioning on a review.

We loved everything about our stay at Tui & Nikau despite the ongoing renovation work. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, comfortable and even brought us chocolate from the local factory to apologise for the noise. The premises were clean, new and well equipped. It was conveniently located 5 mins away from a supermarket and 10 mins away from the beach. It had a lovely calming bush feeling. While the rooms could get hot, AC was easily available. The little kitchenette had everything you need for light cooking. We are definitely coming back!

Beautiful room, everything was awesome. The bed was so comfortable. The hosts are incredible, so welcoming and accommodating. The communications were so good, directions to parking our car were perfect, we didn't need any further information about directions, parking or access.

The location, luxurious feel, spacious, BBQ, outdoor seating, fire pit. All felt very well thought-out.

We loved the apartment, had all the amenities we needed. The surroundings were nice and peaceful. Staff were friendly and helpful, very attentive to our needs. Was able to relax and unwind during the day, Netflix was great during the stormy weather. Had realised upon check in that we were upgraded from a studio to a one bedroom which was awesome! The staff responded promptly to our requests which we we're greatful for :)

Unfortunately the building isn't that sound proof as we could hear alot of noises/voices from the apartment next door, below and outside. It was fine during the day, but hearing loud noises late at night were unpleasant. Most of these were distubances from other guests which could not be controlled, so no faults on the property.

There is a peace and tranquility rarely found here.

The only downside is you can hear people walking around upstairs - not particularly great if there’s a few people upstairs as was the case during our stay.
