Kalamaki Luxury Suites

Nähe zum Strand mit freier Nutzung der Sonnenliegen ab Reihe 2. Nähe zum guten Frühstück gegenüber auf der anderen Straßenseite mit dem Namen Kalamaki Mare Café. Sehr gutes Italienischen Restaurant etwa 50 Meter entfernt. Parken an der Straße war problemlos möglich. Rezeptionistin ist eine 10/10. Sie arbeitet sehr Kundenorientiert.

Lautstärke von der Straße. Ein Gullideckel ist so positioniert, dass der beim Überfahren von Fahrzeugen sehr laut ist. Lautstärke von Gesprächen im Eingangsbereich. Türen lassen sich nicht sanft schließen. Room 1 und 2 im Erdgeschoss sind nicht zu empfehlen. Die einzigen Räume die vielleicht gut sind von der Lautstärke sind die, die Richtung Meer ausgerichtet sind.

το κατάλυμα είναι καταπληκτικό, με όλες τις παροχές που θα μπορούσε κανείς να ζητήσει, ωραία χρώματα, καταπληκτικά σεντόνια, εξαιρετικό μπάνιο.

η παροχή του πρωινού αδικεί το κατάλυμα. Όχι ως προς το κατάστημα που βρίσκεται επάνω στην θάλασσα αλλά ως το ίδιο το πρωινό. Θα έλεγα ''ξεπερασμένο'' και μάλιστα όταν έχεις αυτή την παραμονή σε έναν εκπληκτικό χώρο. Βέβαια αυτό είναι προσωπική άποψη.

Very nice looking room, with a huge 200cm bed. Had my best sleep here! 3) The best one: The people. At the reception and the beach service. The Team of Kalamaki was just excellent. From Hotel to Restaurant to Beach bar. We had the panoramic sea view room, which i would like to stay in on every vacation, two sides of the room with full glass windows. Breakfast is available in two places nearby but we choose the Kalamaki restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner, because of the food the people the view. Yes, it is a bit pricy but we will definetely come back.

I liked everything, but it is true that if you look for a village where you can eat somewhere else, there are not a lot of choices. However Chania is easily reachable by bus - 1ticket / 1 Person / 1 trip is 1,80 E and can be bought upfront at the kiosk right in front of the hotel.

Es war eine sehr schönes und großes Zimmer, sowie modern und ästhetisch eingerichtet. Alles in allem auch sehr sauber. Das Hotel bietet ebenso einen schönen Strandabschnitt mit Liegen an. Das Personal war extrem hilfsbereit. Das ebenso zum Hotel gehörende Restaurant mit Bar hat leckeres und preiswertes Essen serviert. Die Bar hat ebenso humane Preis und gute Drinks serviert. Zu empfehlen sind hier am Strand ein Frappé Metrio oder ein Hawaii 5-0 Cocktail.

Die Unterkunft hatte bis auf einen nicht ganz festen Toiletten Sitz keine nennenswerten negativ Punkte

Room 16 not only has a balcony, it has a large 3 glass panel view directly of the sea and the marvelous beach and coast line. Impeccable.

Beautiful, sizeable, and comfortable room. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The shower is built into the bedroom, with transparent walls. And this first-floor room has windows opening to a pedestrian walkway. So you need to close the curtains to have any privacy during your shower.

The beach is right there and is a beautiful setting. The room is spacious and the bed was comfortable.

We were in room 2 which is right beside the kitchen for the restaurant so we heard all of the clean up at night, not being able to get to sleep until after 11:30. There is no balcony or window to open. The window looks out into the parking lot of the neighbouring restaurant. The bathroom window faces the Kalamaki restaurant and didn’t open either.

Todella ystävällinen palvelu! Huone oli erittäin viehättävä, hyvä ilmastointi. Yhteydessä toimiva ravintola tarjosi alennuksen aamiaisesta. Haniaan kulkevat bussit pysähtyvät aivan vieressä. Ranta on täydellinen snorklaamiseen: pikku kaloja ja rapuja riittää ihmeteltäväksi.

Rannan baarien läheisyydessä olisi voinut olla siistimpää, lentoon lähteneitä pulloja, tölkkejä, yms., ei kukaan näyttänyt keräävän pois eikä roskiksia näkynyt.

Beach location, good staff, easy access to city

Loved the location right on the beach. Loved the restaurant & bar adjacent. Loved the large room, extra large bed & the stone shower with a viewing panel across the bar roof to the sea. Loved the easy parking & convenient bus stop to go into Chania. Lastly loved the people at Kakamaki from owners down.

Really beautiful room was stunning especially the lovely big bed and gorgeous shower we had a really nice relaxing time loved the little bathrobes we felt like we stayed in a luxury spa for a week. And of course the gorgeous restaurant next door and beautiful private beach thank you for your hospitality we enjoyed ourselves

Firstly, they really are not lying when they say the suites are luxury because we felt like royalty with our room and stay. We stayed here for 6 nights and we genuinely did not want to leave. From the moment we arrived, Vanessa made us feel so warm and welcome. Room:- We stayed in the Master Suite with Hot Tub and Panoramic Sea View - and all I can say is WOW, and WOW again! This room was something you would find in your dreams. The views were nothing short of spectacular and utterly breathtaking. The room itself is spacious, with an extremely comfortable bed and very good air con unit (which was perfect when the temperatures were almost at 30 degrees!). The room also has a good mini fridge (which actually keeps drinks cold!), a shower unit with good pressure, a separate toilet room, balcony with two chairs and a table which overlooks the sea below and of course, the hot tub with jets, which is set overlooking the stunning views of the beach. There genuinely was nothing that could be added to this room, it was fully equipped which made the stay relaxing. Staff:- Vanessa made us feel so warm and welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. She was more than happy to give us tips on things to do in the area and genuinely there is not a bad thing we could say about the service and reception we received. The Kalamaki restaurant also owned by Vanessa and Stephanos is absolutely superb too. I’ve left a separate review on both Google and Trip Advisor so have a look there for a more detailed review! But all I will say is it is 10/10. During our 6 night stay, we ate there almost every day whether for breakfast, dinner or just for drinks and the food really is, in our opinion “elevated and mastered homely cooked Greek food”. My family are Greek and I can truly say the food brought back amazing memories for me. Cannot recommend enough.

Honestly, I can't think of any improvements to be made.

We LOVED our stay!! It is a family owned hotel/restaurant with very friendly staff, especially Stefanos! Stefanos helped us with whatever we needed/wanted to know, we could check in earlier upon arrival and on our last day he even gifted us his favourite rosé to drink when we return back home. The room is just as in the pictures, spacious and it has a very comfy bed. The pillows were a bit hard for our taste, but we received softer ones when we requested it. The shower is very nice! The restaurant has very good food and good portions, we ate here frequently. We even ordered lunch to go for a day cruise, which was perfect. The hotel/restaurant is on a beach, and as a guest staying at the hotel you get free access to the sunbeds (second and third row). When we arrived the sea was a bit rough, but that was due to a storm. Later on the sea was perfectly calm.

The structure is in a great location, clean and recently renewed and last but not least quiet. The staff is amazing, thoughtful and gave us a lot of advices regarding places to visit, beaches and so on.

Stefanos and Vanessa are fantastic hosts—attentive, friendly, and always on hand to help! The apartment was clean, super nice and just steps from the sandy beach. I loved every minute of stay here!

Beautiful room and location right on the beach. Stefanos was so helpful and provided great suggestions for places to explore and restaurants in the area. The rooms were clean and very comfortable.

Clean and modern with all you need for a lovely holiday. Attached to the family run Greek restaurant and bar on the sandy beach (no stones or pebbles) with sun beds and umbrellas.

I recently stayed at this amazing apartment in Crete, and it was perfect! The view of the sea was breathtaking, and the jacuzzi in the apartment was a highlight. Spending time in the jacuzzi with my loved one while enjoying the sea view was truly special. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated. The host was very hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this apartment for a perfect getaway. Can’t wait to come back!

The hotel and restaurant were an amazing combo. Perfectly suited my childrens needs with appropriate food and is situated 10metres from an amazing beachfront. The restaurant had an endless amount of great food options. We dined like kings and queens every night trying new options, never have I been so impressed with the range and quality of the food.

Could not recommend this place highly enough! Such a beautiful location, right on the beach. The staff and service are beyond phenomenal. Staff are always happy to help and very friendly. The business is family owned and very welcoming. No issue is too big for them. We arrived at 10pm at night and staff were there ready to greet us and show us to our room. The rooms are fresh and clean with the option for a daily service. My partner and i had been around Europe for a month and this was my far our favourite spot! The beds are beyond comfy!

We really enjoyed this hotel. The room was comfortable as well as the bed and they offer a lot of good quality amities. The location is just perfect: in front of the beach and just 5km from chania city center. We also liked that it was easy to get parking spots near the hotel. It was very clean. The staff was amazing, super nice and very professional! They supported us in every way we needed and also gave some good tips for exploring the surroundings. Would definitely stay again!

The shower is a bit awkward for two people sharing a room if they are not a couple (the towel rack is outside of the shower and inside the common room, with no actual separation).

You have restaurant and private beach at 1 min walk and if you are an early bird you can have it all for yourself for some hours. Such a clean,quiet,safe and beautiful place owned by a wonderful family,ready to help you with everything you need. If you have no idea how you could spend time around,Ariel will make sure,you will regret not staying longer :)) (From that long list I tried Pallas and was definately worth it) On my last night my phone charger broke inside phone and Ariel’s dad and uncle helped me getting it out and borrowed me a charger. I will definately cime back next year❤️🫶🏼

The hotel is on the main road to Chania city. Our room was facing the road and we couldn't sleep well due to the traffic. I guess if the room is not on the road it would be amazing!

Located right on Kalamaki Beach, literally. The sites are very modern, clean, and well kept. Exceptional location with the restaurant right beside Kalamaki Suites.

Ariel was amazing! Super kind and gave us recommendations about Chania (beaches, restaurants, etc). The hotel was very comfortable, big and nice rooms, very clean, great area, free beach umbrellas and sun beds. Bonus track: There is a coffee place in front of the hotel which is amazing!!

The toilet is separated from the shower, which is good, but the toilet is a bit small, however, not many issues about it. Pillows are not very comfortable.

Kalamaki Luxury Suits We stay there 14-19 August 2023. Room no 1 ground flour. Room with shower, double bed, modernly designed, view for backyard, no balcony. Nice and functional room, bed very comfortable. Ideal location: 1. beautiful, sandy, cosy beach with sunbeds and umbarela included in price. Best view for sun sets. 2. Kalamaki Restaurant in the same building. Very tasty traditional Greek cuisine, not expensive. Dish "Lamb Kleftico" expecially recommend. This was the best Kleftiko I've ever eaten ( I was im Greece 4 times). 3. Bus station in front of the building, city bus to Chania (line 21) 4 times per hour. Also bus station to Kissamos, Falasarna and Paleochora. Perfect place for couples. For us it was like" Small piece of heaven". Receptionist (Ariel) is incredibly nice, kind and helpfull person, very open and warm, smiling all the time. She is like Cretan sun - always shining!

Stunning Suite with uninterrupted breath taking views overlooking a beautiful bay. Floor to ceiling windows on two sides. A circular jacuzzi and separate rainfall shower with gloriously scented greek honey and orange toiletries. A huge comfy bed. Immaculately clean! The suites are so well located as the beach is just out through the hotel. A joyous place to swim, all sand with no hidden shelving so feels really safe. There is a bus stop immediately outside and a handy kiosk where you can purchase bus tickets either to Chania (1 .50 Euros at kiosk or if you pay on the bus, it is 2.50 Euros). You can also get the bus to Stalos, Again Marina and Platanias on the opposite side of the road. We've visited Crete many times (24) and feel so blessed to have experienced this hidden gem. Already planning our visit next year!
