Very noisy (rooster inside and outside the house), walls are really thin so you hear every other guests, bad luck when they slam doors, speak loudly and vomit until 3am and wake up screaming at 7:30

Sehr schönes, gemütliches Zimmer. Das Haus liegt etwas außerhalb des Ortes, sodass es sehr ruhig ist, man ist aber trotzdem innerhalb von 10 min zu Fuß im Ortskern. Sehr freundliche Hosts.

Der einzige „Minuspunkt“ ist, dass es keine Küche gibt, die man nutzen kann, und auch kein Frühstück/ Essen angeboten wird. Da es aber im Ort genug Möglichkeiten zum Essen gibt und die Hosts uns diesbezüglich auch gute Empfehlungen gegeben haben, war es nicht weiter schlimm.

La chambre, sa décoration, la propreté et surtout la gentillesse de la maman de Sébastian. Je recommande à 100% cet établissement avec un rapport qualité / prix excellent !!

La gentillesse de Ruby et son fils… des amours La chambre était parfaite, très bonne literie, propreté parfaite Et Ruby était au petit soin, elle nous changeait les serviettes tous les jours. Ce n’est pas en plein centre (8/10 mn à pied) mais c’est beaucoup mieux car l’emplacement est en pleine nature (animaux, face aux montagnes…)

The high rating I have bestowed on this establishment is due to the professionalism, bonhomie and friendliness of Sebastian, the smiling chap who welcomed me on arrival.  His manner and thoroughness was a surprise in a world in which hotel staff are all too quick to get rid of you after you hand over your gold. Sebastian explained the hotel rules, tourist attractions and other offerings - he made even the mundane seem exciting.  I thank Sebastián again and wish him good fortune and prosperity.  The hotel itself is rather charming and is surrounded by happy chickens that run around clucking. It is a picturesque scene fitting of the overall idyllic scene of Salento. The view you have from the rustic shutters will awaken the heart of the most faithless of cynics. The room was large enough and the bathroom was of exceptional cleanliness. It must also be noticed that the price is very fair for Salento and you definitely receive more for staying here rather than an expensive chain hotel.

Despite the overwhelming positives on this establishment, I must raise a few points of improvement. All in good faith and without malice. I am always grateful for housekeeping to enter my hotel room when I am out so that they can complete light cleaning duties. However, this must be agreed with the guest beforehand. It is an unpleasant feeling to return from a day of hiking and suspect someone has been in your room. The fix here is very simple: tell your guests that housekeeping will enter the rooms to empty bins and replenish towels. A slight downer is that this hotel has a huge long list of rules to follow, almost like a school. It's only a minor gripe and I can only suspect that previous guests behaviour fell well below the acceptable level. These are small comments and I encourage all tourists to stay here for a comfortable and refreshing stay in Salento.

Te envían una lista de reglas, al llegar la señora te da una lista más. Básicamente entrar sin zapatos, no tocar nada, no hacer ruido, no, no, no. Totalmente incómodo.

Me gustó mucho la atención y la comunicación. Excelente hospitalidad por parte de los anfitriones. El sitio es muy bonito, con un toque campestre justo a las afueras del pueblo; pero a menos de 10 minutos caminando del centro. Mi habitación con baño privado, balcón y agua caliente me pareció verdaderamente excelente por el precio. Volvería nuevamente y muy recomendado.

Logement idéalement situé, proche de tout à pied. La vue sur la nature était très agréable. Sebas et Ruby ont été très attentionnés ! Sebas a pris le temps de confirmer les 2/3 info du logement même si tout était clair sur l’annonce. Oui, il y a un coq qui nous réveille tôt mais ce n’est pas dérangeant car on dort très bien !

Comme indiqué par le propriétaire, les murs sont fins donc si vous avez une cliente relou qui se croit seule au téléphone dans la chambre à côté, ça peut être dérangeant …

Personnel adorable, la mère et son fils sont supers gentils, je n’avais pas de sacs pour mes randonnées ils m’en ont prêté un. Calme et tranquillité Te proposent un pack dej complet c’est trop bien. Te laissent à disposition pleins d’informations pour des activités/restaurants/recommandations

Sebastien et sa mère ont été d’une extrême gentillesse durant notre séjour. Excellent rapport qualité, on est à la marge du centre et ça fait le charme de l’hôtel, 5-10 de marche pour rejoindre la place principale de Salento. Un de nos meilleurs hôtels à petit budget en Colombie 🇨🇴

je mettrai rarement de commentaires mais Sebastian le mérite. Tout était parfait, la chambre, l’emplacement et surtout Sebastian qui nous fait sentir comme à la maison. Il est disponible pour toute demande et rend le séjour fantastique.

Super expérience !! Sebastian m'a très bien accueilli, très chaleureux et agréable. L'hotel est très bien situé à quelques minutes du centre. L'hotel en soit est calme, très propre. Je recommande !!!

Sebastian war sehr nett, er hat sogar das Zimmer während unseres Aufenthalts gesäubert. Die Lage ist gut - nicht mitten im Zentrum, daher ruhig, aber in ein paar Minuten ist man dort. :) Das Zimmer war groß & sauber.

Tout était parfait ! Notre hôte a communiqué avec nous avant l’arrivé. Il nous a super bien accueilli, nous a tout expliqué sur la ville, les activités etc… Les chambres étaient très propres. Bien placé, dans un petit coin paisible de la ville. À 10 min du centre à pied.

Sebastián muy atento y amable. La localización perfecta para mi gusto, lo suficiente separada del centro turístico pero no tan lejos, con muy buenas vistas. Instalaciones limpias y cómodas.

Si buscas descansar y dormir hasta tarde, no es tu lugar, pues hay un gallinero. Pero si quieres aprovechar el día, no importa tanto.

El anfitrión es muy amable, siempre está disponible para brindarte información oportuna o para ayudarte con lo que necesites, ofrece un lugar en excelentes condiciones. Nos quedamos en una habitación doble, amplia, muy aseada y cómoda. La relación calidad precio es muy buena. Debes caminar un poco para llegar a la zona central del pueblo pero no es algo que moleste. Es muy seguro caminar y muy bonito para observar los alrededores.

A private room with a private bathroom at this price point was unbeatable! It was cheaper than most hostels in the area. Sebastian is a lovely host and is very accommodating.

You have to remember it’s not exactly a hotel; you’ll be staying above Sebastian and his mother. Receiving a WhatsApp in the morning telling you you’ve not been shutting the doors gently enough was slightly embarrassing for me, and I’m not sure what else can be heard from the rooms.

Very good location, just a few minutes walk from the center, our room was spacious and clean with a great view. Sebastian, the host, couldn’t have been more helpful with everything, highly recommend staying here!

The hostel owner Sebastian entered our room without our permission to “organise” the bedroom and STOLE our belongings. He was extremely aggressive and tried to manipulate the situation when confronted. He said we left our belongings outside and that’s how they came to his possession, of course this was not true. We requested the CCTV footage of us leaving the property to prove we didn't drop our belongings outside, as the owner claimed. We also asked for footage of Sebastian leaving our room, as it would show him stealing from us. However, he refused access to that footage, claiming he didn't have time to look through it and he was very aggressive towards us. We also wanted this footage as he had left our bedroom door wide open for anyone to enter while we were out all day which is unacceptable. This man is a THIEF and a LIAR please be careful and I urge you to not book this hostel. I have stayed in many hostels and dorms in over 20 counties and never had such a bad experience as I have with this one !!!! Also please ignore the sarcastic reply and lies he will inevitably respond with as he has done with previous comments - he is extremely rude and has a bad attitude. PLEASE pay the extra money to ensure the safety of your belongings and avoid this hostel and its owner.

This was a really lovely place, hosts were really friendly and gave us lots of information on how to do the coffee tours and other things. The room had amazing views and was a really good space and very clean.

There was a lot about slamming doors and we got messages feeling like we were getting scolded for slamming even when I don’t know how we could have closed it quieter. Also cockerels can be loud in the morning but I think it added to the ambience.

Sebastián and his mother are incredibly nice,simpatico and helpful, room & bathroom (hot shower) are simple but super clean. Just a few minutes walk from the center. I would have loved to stay longer 😊

The owner is very kind and even waited till midnight to help us check-in as our bus was very long. The room was very clean and as well, they clean the rooms every day.

I could not get the hot water to work. Apparently there was a trick to getting it to work, but I could not work this out. The owner shouted at me a lot. I speak little Spanish and she spoke zero English, I felt she kept talking loudly at me and made zero effort to communicate (for example- using Google translate). Could not use the kitchen, not even for hot water. I have never stayed at a hotel/hostel where I cannot make a hot drink. However they did warn of this before booking the room.

Everything was perfect, the owner was very attentive and helpful with everything. My room was cleaned daily and I was even given a fresh towels every time. Great location and nice quiet atmosphere. Thank you so much for everything.

If you will just pay normal level of attention and close the doors softly that will still be not enough, you will get a message that you are doing it “very very” hard :) I believe it was misunderstanding. Place is ultra sensitive to noise as the landlords are trying to keep the best experience for all of the guests, but everything else is very good

Gorgeous clean big room with beautiful views. A little out of town but easy 10 min walk to the main plaza and 15 mins from the bus station. Amazing value for money.

This was made clear before we booked but the Cockerels are very loud and start making noise at around 4am. There is nothing the hostel can do about this obviously but just so others are aware - bring ear plugs!

The hosts are super friendly, you can see that they enjoy opening the hostel and you feel very welcome. They gave us lots of recommendations: things to do, how to get there, the best restaurants, ... We did most of the recommendations and they did not dissapoint! 😊 The room was clean, cosy and nice. It's for sure worth it to stay in this hostel!

Only downside is that we had no window to ventilate our room (we did have a window connected to the kitchen, but we missed fresh air), and the showers were lukewarm.

Sebastian and his mother were fantastic hosts. You can tell that they run the hostel with a lot of love!

There was nothing that we didn’t like!

After making reservations, the owner sent a message which said that the house is a little bit remote from town center and there will be animals making noise at night. It's not a big deal because the town is small and everything is within walking distance. I enjoyed a lot in this house and with ear plug I slept alright at night

The price of the room is very cheap for what you get: really nice, clean and spatious room. A little bit out of town, but easily walkable (not even 10 min away from the main plaza) in a safe and chill area. I would definitely recommend it!

Shower went cold quickly, couldn't figure out the trick to it. There are a lot of rules to abide by. Nothing unusual but just strange having them explained at arrival.

Amazing was modernhotel. Our room and well-decorated. So cute! The staff thinks over all the details. We were warned about everything and got all the necessary information about activities in the city and nearby. We asked so many questions and the owner patiently answered all of them. He was incredibly kind. I highly recommend this place to stay!

Sebastian is an example of an excellent host: he is very friendly and gave us much information of activities we could do in the area and which restaurants to visit. He also made sure the sound of the roosters at night didn't bother us by preparing ear plugs beforehand, so we slept good!

We really loved this place! Sebastian was really nice and gave us many tips for our stay in Salento. It definitely felt like home and the center is really easy walkable. Definitely recommend it :)

We LOVED staying here, and booked 2 extra nights instantly. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the room is super clean and spacious. Things like hooks in the bathroom are often missing in cheaper places, but this has it all! The rooms are even cleaned everyday. The balcony overlooking the greenery is so beautiful and overall I would highly recommend staying here.

The Wi-Fi is mostly good, but sometimes dropped out. The noise. It’s not the property’s fault, and we were ok, but light sleepers would not be, even with the provided earplugs. There’s low level music from 8:00-23:00 and there’s roosters from 3:00.
