Una rigogliosa oasi lontana dal trambusto di Aswan , ma a pochi passi dal centro, in una posizione strategica. L'atmosfera dell'albergo è più che cordiale, è familiare . Il personale dell'albergo è gentilissimo e disponibile. L' albergo è molto carino e ben tenuto, si vede che hanno ristrutturato tutto da poco e con cura. La camera che ho avuto, è grande e confortevole, con un ampio bagno privato. Pulizia TOP. Siamo stati davvero bene

De não ter ninguem para nos receber quando chegámos para atravessar o rio. Depois da meia é 75 libras por pessoa/nao por casal como pensamos ou seja 150egp. Chegamos tarde 02:00h e o caminho para o hotel depois de atravessar-mos o rio foi um pouco assustador. Nao gostei tambem da maneira como foi organizada a nossa ida ao templo de philae. Enviaram-nos sem guia apenas com o condutor que arranjou um amigo barqueiro que nos levou lá por 700egp. Em philae encontramos um guia local que nos apresentou o templo e ainda se disponibilizou para nos guiar depois de almoço a aldeia nubia do qual aceitamos já que nos tinham enviado sem guia. A meio da tarde ligaram para o telefone pessoal do guia a reclamar que tinha que ir no barco deles ja que estavamos no hotel. A minha opinião é que se nos mandam sem guia somos livres de arranjar alguem para nos explicar o porque, é por isso viemos aqui. Não foi uma questão de dinheiro foi um questão de principios e saber lidar com pessoas que estão a fazer a sua viagem de sonho.. Para ser sincero não nos sentimos seguros em Aswan por todo este tipo de coisas. Acabamos sempre por comer no KFC que era o unico sitio onde os estrangeiros se sentem realmente seguros. Fora disso a estadia foi boa. Alguns a aspectos a melhorar Organização de visitas 2/10 Breakfast box 6/10

Guest house très agréable. personnel très serviable et réactif : transports de valises depuis le ferry, service pour le petit déjeuner, le déjeuner et le diner impeccables, organisations de tour en felouque et bateau à moteur autour de l'île, de taxi pour Philae. Bouteilles d'eau fraiches payantes (moins cher que la superette de l'île) en libre service. Le coin de verdure sur la terrasse apporte de la fraîcheur et est très appréciable. Possibilité de diner sur le toit terrasse. Nous y avons passé un très bon séjour en famille (2 adultes et 3 enfants).

This was the best place during my stay. The staff is so kind, felt right at home. The inferior design is breath-taking. The location is central on the island and their dog is so protective and cute. They helped me with pick ups and organizing the Abu Simbel trip. I loved staying here and regretted that I couldn't stay longer. It is close to mango trees which makes the name perfect. Best experience!

一开始的房间有很多苍蝇，非常不干净，后来房东给我们换了阳台房，视野还不错。但是这边的交通不太方便，路比较烂，而且非常干燥

除了干净这点值得点出来。其他真的不知道怎么说。

Reception跟WhatsApp联络是两个人。完全不回信息。沟通太困难了。这岛上Googlemap定位不准，我能找到旅社完全是靠岛民帮助。我心甘情愿给tips.你们都无法想象这路怎么拉箱子。

スタッフの皆さんがとても親切で、滞在中は安心して過ごせました。アブシンベル神殿ツアーも、他のホテルや旅行会社と比べて良心的な価格で案内していただき、とても満足しています。チェックアウトの際には、お守りとしてアンク（ 古代エジプトの「生命の鍵」と呼ばれるシンボル。十字架の上部が輪）をプレゼントしていただき、その温かい心遣いに感動しました。宿の雰囲気もアットホームで、アスワンを訪れる方に自信を持っておすすめできるゲストハウスです。

The room is spacious and clean. The breakfast is delicious with handmade bread and fresh products. We thank especially to the staffs in the guest house to organise our trip to Abu Simbel and a nice felucca sunset tour. Since there are not many tourists during this time, the staffs let us to keep our room until our departure for the train. Thanks to their hospitality and kindness! I definitely recommend the Mango guest house.

친절한 주인(이브라힘)과 평화로운 게스트하우스의 분위기. 엘레판티네 섬에 위치해있지만 KFC보트타는 곳에서 정찰제로 편도 15파운드라 이동이 어렵지는 않음. 조식도 200파운드인데 상당히 정성껏 준비해주심.

Au calme (c'est forcément le cas sur l'île Éléphantine) et à 2 pas du ferry. Le personnel est très gentil et serviable. La chambre est claire et spacieuse avec un balcon bien agréable. Suite à une erreur de réservation de ma part on m'a permis de modifier mes dates. Merci ! PS: Ne pas manquer de visiter le petit musée Animalia.

Simple but beautiful and clean property. Very friendly and kind staff who ensured my comfort.

More of caution to travellers that disabled people may struggle to get around due to lack of adjustments. Property has no lift so request ground floor room if you struggle with stairs though roof top roofs have fantastic views. Lots of stairs and no lifts from boat/ferry when travelling to and from elephantine island.

Mango Guest House is a charming local hotel located on Elephantine Island. Reaching it requires taking the ferry from Aswan, but the crossing takes only about two minutes, and the ferry operates at all hours of the day and night, making access very convenient. Mango Guest House is a truly wonderful place—a beautiful house surrounded by a lovely garden where it is easy to relax, unwind, and disconnect from the bustle of everyday life. The property is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The team who looked after us in the restaurant was always kind, attentive, and welcoming, and the food was delicious. Even on the days when we had to leave very early in the morning, everything was perfectly arranged for us, including breakfast and ferry transportation. While the hotel is not located in Aswan city itself, staying on the island is absolutely worth it. The peaceful atmosphere and unique setting make Mango Guest House a special place to experience.

Le personnel, le cadre, l'emplacement sur l'île accessible par ferry nous a surpris au départ mais finalement les locaux sont tres sympathiques.

Charming quaint and authentic guest house off the beaten track on elephantine island. Very clean, well equipped , excellent food and staff. Access to little swim spots and beaches on boat. Perfect for the curious traveller!

Villa très accueillante avec un joli jardin rafraîchissant. Le personnel est très sympathique et apporte une aide précieuse pour les excursions. Nous avons également dîné un soir où nous avons apprécié la cuisine excellente. Les petits déjeuners sont très bien avec de petits pains tout fraîchement cuits et excellents.

This place is a real issue on Elephantine Island -- modern, spacious, extremely clean and well-run, with good air-conditioning, strong Internet, an onsite restaurant with good food, and a beautiful location amidst the village life of Elephantine. It's great value for money. Only five minutes' walk from the ferry. There's an economical laundry service, and they can also arrange tours to local sites, as far afield as Abu Simbel.

My only complaint is that they ran out of cold Stella beer halfway through my stay, but I might have had something to do with that. 😉 Otherwise, it's another nice feature of the place.

I liked the location. Very quiet and pleasant. Away from the hustle of mainland Egypt. A nice garden and view from the balcony. Fresh mangoes from the garden. My room was clean and the bathroom modern.

I didn't see any staff. Quite disorganised and service was slow. On reception and breakfast. I felt sorry for the one man I saw who kept apologising and was trying his best.

Ebrahim, el dueño del lugar, Yasser, el portero de noche, Amina, Ahamed y demás personal no podrían ser mejores. Como grupo, hacen un trabajo excepcional, y por separado son encantadores. La honestidad, el servicio esmerado, el cuidado y la genuina protección que se recibe en todo momento, hacen que no busque otro lugar en la próxima estancia en Aswan.

Zeer vriendelijke mensen. Erg leuk eiland. De mensen zijn goed opgeleid en spreken heel goed Engels. De bedden slapen heerlijk. De kamer is erg fijn met een prima airco. Je kunt excursies bij ze regelen tegen een goede prijs. We komen graag nog eens terug.

Seul petit bémol mais tout finit toujours par s'arranger: manque de personnel parlant anglais à certains moments de la journée en période d'absence des propriétaires.

Hotel super propre. Chambre familiale très grand avec deux pièces séparées. Le personnel est adorable. J’ai pu faire laver tout mon linge pour la moitié de notre séjour. On est dans un climat de confiance réciproque : on se sert de boissons nous même en notant ce qu’on prend dans un cahier et on paye à la fin du séjour. Enfin, on prend le petit déjeuner dans un jardin luxuriant avec des manguiers. Le pain est fait maison et cuisiné sur place chaque jour. C’est le meilleur pain qu’on a mangé de tout notre séjour en egypte!

Bien que pas très loin de l’embarcadère principal, l’hotel est accessible par un dédale de petites ruelles et pas facile à trouver.

Yasser, Mohamed, Walid, (Bobby the dog) Ahmed, Ahmed 2, Ibrahim Amina, Fouad en waarschijnlijk vergeet ik nog iemand, zij maken je verblijf zó comfortabel. Vanaf de incheck tot het ontbijt, (die broodjes bakt Yasser zelf en heeft hij weer geleerd van de Deense eigenaresse) alles is zo goed geregeld. De kamer is zo schoon, groot en mooi (het wordt dagelijks bijgehouden🙏🏼). Ze helpen je met vervoer en excursies. Ik weet zeker dat ik terugkomen en iedereen zou aanbevelen hier ook heen te gaan. Daarnaast hield ik in Aswan van Elephant (mango) island. Een oase. Met de meest vriendelijke bewoners en veel geleerd over de Nubiërs en hun cultuur/geschiedenis. Ekadoli The Mango!

Mango is the perfect place to stay in Aswan. It is very clean and comfortable. Our room was spacious, shower has good pressure and hot water. It's location is great only a short walk to the ferry, but but very quiet. We had a bag breakfast one day, and breakfast in the hotel the other. Both were excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Also, Elephantine Island is so nice and quiet compared to Aswan.

This is more for the owners than guests. My only complaint is that the cleaning staff rearranged our luggage. They moved all bags to the other side of the room, up on shelves, and unplugged a charger. The worst is we have expensive camera equipment and are very careful at how it is placed, and it was moved on to a high shelf. Thankfully nothing was damaged, but in addition to being unnecessary, it felt invasive and creepy.

La guest house est idéalement localisée sur la calme et agréable île éléphantine. Le personnel est exceptionnel et nous a permis d’organiser des excursions aux meilleurs prix pour Abu Simbel, Philae et Louxor. Le petit déjeuner est fait maison - mention spéciale au pain! De accommodatie was heel mooi, zeer comfortabel met een heel goed matras. De kamer en badkamer zijn zeer ruim, met de airco is het goed te verkoelen. De tuin is geweldig, zeer goed verzorgd, en het ontbijt (in de tuin) met zelf gemaakte brood heel lekker. Het personeel is heel aardig.

The staff were extremely nice and welcoming . We truly felt like this was our home away from home. I love the location, transport was easy! The rooms are clean and spacious, delicious homemade breakfast! I could go on and on. I am looking forward to visiting again! Beautiful community!

One of the best places I stayed in during my 9-day trip through Egypt. Also a very reasonable rate for the room I had.

Absolutely no remarks to be made. This place is lovely and right in the centre ! Ferry over is only 15egp during the day. It felt safe, clean and quiet.

Breakfast is homemade bread, with egg and fig jam. If you eat at the guest house you get falafel as well and fresh mango juice. I don’t eat egg, so they obliged me with extra falafel. Another morning they got us breakfast ready to go

It wasn’t clear that there aren’t any roads on Elephantine Island. We tried calling the guesthouse before our arrival, and the internet was out, but someone came to help us with a wheel barrel which was very exciting. We are a family of 6 travelling with young children and lots of luggage

Very nice small hotel in Aswan, recommended by Lonely Planet. Clean, modern, AC, no elevator, friendly staff. Important to know Elephantine Island, a UNESCO site, is a small island with NO roads and NO motorized vehicles. Sandy walking paths and carry your own luggage. Ferry to the island takes just 2 or 3 minutes, operates 24/7.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour. C’était propre. Tout le personnel était adorable. Ils nous ont préparé des breakfast box très bon ( petit sandwich, biscuits, jus, eau) dans de jolis petits sacs. Le roof top et les jardins sont super. Allez-y les yeux fermés. Il faut vraiment loger sur l’île elefantine. Magnifique 😍

わたしはここの姉妹店？の「ANAKO」というほうに、急遽なりました。ナイル川に浮かんでおり、テラスからは絶景が見えました。わたしは早朝出発だったので、Breakfast Boxでしたが、そのテラスで朝食をいただけるようです。浮かんでいるのは特に気にならず、まわりに何もないので静かでした。

船乗り場までの道が少しわかりずらいです。しかし、1日何回も行ったり来たりしていたので、すぐに覚えました。 小さな商店で水は買えますが、対岸にあるスーパーよりは高かったです。

We had a lovely stay here the location is easy to find and staying on the island is very relaxing. The garden and roof terrace in the guesthouse are lovely as well as the staff. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

I love Mango guest hause. Its beautiful oases in the nubian village. There is garden,kitchen,where you can have free coffee or tea all day long. Breakfest is perfect and its served in the terrace with incredible view. You can enjoy another higher terrace to relax. Rooms are clean and comfortable. All staff is very nice and helpful. Wonderful guest house on Elephantine island. Room was spacious and clean, as was the bathroom. Staff was exceptionally kind, friendly and helpful. Their warmth made you feel like you were more than a guest. More a good friend or even member of the family. Not a luxury place, but sublime for the connection that it promotes to the community. Highly recommended.

The lighting was a bit spare so the room was not well lit, but that was no big deal. Biggest regret was not to be able to become acquainted with Pook more.

Only disadvantage to bring out is that the guesthouse is not located at riverside, but this does not qualify as something to dislike.

The apartment was truly comfortable, quite smartly and practically decorated with high quality materials.We particularly enjoyed the beautiful garden and our balcony with the trees right in front and the calmness.In addition, the staff were quite friendly and hospitable.

On the island without addresses and Google Maps, it was a challenge to find it for the first time.

The guest house was nice with a friendly staff. Nice breakfast. They helped with local tourist information and arranged for me a boat to see the sunset on the Nile River.

Unfortunately I was allocated to the groundfloor. It was noise but I didn't ask to change either. It didn't change my experience.

Very quiet place, perfect to relax and just few minutes away from aswan centre with the boat. The staff is very kind, they help us to organize our trip and make us feel very safe. I really recommend Mango Guest House!

This is lovely guesthouse, run by a wonderful, friendly staff. I felt privileged to stay here. Modern facilities in a quaint, garden setting. Excellent breakfast and terrific views from the rooftop terrace.

A nice sanctuary on elephantine island. The room was nice and clean with a good hot shower. The staff can arrange a breakfast box for you if you're going to Abu Simbel early in the morning. A tasty breakfast with a friendly chef.

The area is a nightmare. No luggage support system and no transport.

Mango House is located on Elephantine Island, which requires a quick ferry ride over the river. You can take the public ferry, located right next to the KFC, for 15 GBP. It runs quite regularly. However, if you have an early activity, you will need to arrange a private ferry, which we didn't find to be a problem. The property was lovely, very clean. Breakfast is not included, but quite inexpensive and served on their roofdeck. There is a small kitchen available as well to all guests for cooking, and hot water is provided free of charge for tea at any time.

No complaints. Just be aware you are on the island and will need to arrange transport to get to the other activities on the East Bank.
