La stanza, strutturata su quattro posti letto, era troppo piccola per ospitare tutte le persone. Eravamo in tre e muoversi all'interno dell'ambiente era un pò complicato, considerato anche lo spazio per appoggiare le valigie. La colazione da pagarsi a parte potrebbe essere un pò più economica.

Wij zijn erachter gekomen dat Olympia erg klein is. Het is meer een doorreis stad. Het ontbijt was oké. Het lag er wel al even. Het is gehorig en je hoort in de avond een hond of 2.

Frühstück war ebenfalls recht einfach, kein Yogurt oder Obst, nur etwas trockenes Brot, eine winzige Ecke Käse, etwas Marmelade und Kaffee, das war's, naja 7€. Lage zu den Olympia-Ausgrabungen und Innenstadt sehr gut. Parken an der Straße.

Accueil très aimable paer le propriétaire, qui a même pu nous organiser un petit-déjéuner alors que ce n'est pas dans les habitudes en Grèce.

Reviewed May 26, 2026Die Lage im Ort, Auch das Parken war sehr gut möglich. Der Ort Olympia ist deutlich sauberer als Delpfi und wirkt nicht so "verstopft". Alle Museen (vieles ist dort auch in Deutsch gut erklärt) sind leicht zu Fuß zu erreichen.
Beim Frühstück herrscht eine "Zuteilungsatmospäre" die wir so nicht nicht erlebt haben und die man sich so eigentlich nicht zumuten muss. Eine ganze Tomate, ein Apfel oder auch frischer Honig vom Imker um die Ecke, wenigstens als Angebot, würde sicherlich jeden Gast freuen.

Reviewed May 21, 2026On arrival we were greeted warmly by the proprietor of this small, family-run guest house, who offered us a choice of available rooms. The room we chose had no balcony or view but did include an efficiency kitchen, The room was comfortable and impeccably clean, with a marble-tiled bathroom. Although breakfast was not included in our booking, a table had been set for us and we found the selection provided - including juice, egg, cheese, pastries and a delicious yogurt and honey - both convenient and a welcome start to our day, with just a few tables and chairs arranged within the small entrance lobby and bar area.. Parking was not available on the site but we had no problem parking on the street directly opposite the hotel.
The furnishings and fixtures were rather old-fashioned and one had the impression of staying in the room of a member of the family who had perhaps grown up and moved away.

Everything. You had to make your own bed! Lol. The bedroom was tiny and stuffy ! We asked for a double but got given a twin, with the beds separated by two inches! The bathroom is an accident waiting to happen! It’s so small, toilet kept breaking down and no regulation of the scalding hot water! Very unsafe. Note: we only booked it as no other accommodation was available.

Sehr sauber und sympathischer Familienbetrieb.Frühstück etwas karg, aber auf Nachfrage bekommt man Obst und Joghurt. Käse und Wurst gibt es nicht. Aber ein Ei. Eine wunderbarer Übernachtungsort um das antike Olympia zu besuchen. Alle Restaurants um die Ecke und 10 min zu Fuß zu Museum und Ausgrabungsgelände.

Breakfast was overpriced and meagre. Room was a bit cramped, especially the bathroom. But overall, not too bad for the price, but I'd recommend eating breakfast outside if it's not included in your room rate.

Reviewed May 3, 2026Family run and super friendly and charming. I felt like at home. Always someone to speak to. Thanks for the extra eggs in the morning. Bed was very comfortable.
Personally i prefer the duvet-cover to be covering the blankets from up and down, there were only sheets. But i also never asked for sth. else. Any sound isolation in the walls are not existing. But i had very easy earplugs that did all the job. Didn´t bother.
