We stayed there for two nights while visiting Kep. The place is so peacefull and well taken care of ! The room are nicely decorated and with great privacy. You also have a very cute terrace with a restaurant where you can take breakfast lunch and diner. The food is really yummy and you appreciate the calm all around ! If you come to Kep I highly recommend that place !

What an amzing energy at this place! 10/10 for people, food, nature and lovely balcony!
It can get really warm inside during the day! But perfect at night! It can noisy during the weekend or holidays, but it's everywhere)
the location was great, very close to the crab market and national park
If like me you love solidly built and well maintained wooden huts on high stilts surrounded by lovely gardens you won't be disappointed!
Leaving
Everything. The rooms, staff, location, food. Everything was great! Rent a scooter and you are at the beach swimming in 5 minutes.
I liked everything. Chris and his wife have built a small oasis.
Khmer hands is a sweet garden and Mountain View stay. The place is quiet, clean, and the staff are very friendly. Nary and her team make it very easy to get around by arranging tuk tuks or renting a scooter.

Comfortable hotel with kind staff and a surprisingly good in-house café — Khmer Hands is easy to recommend.
Get stay as normal, the best pancakes in this part of the world
Nice and relaxing spot. The staff is very friendly and made the stay enjoyable. Tried both the Khmer cuisine and Western breakfast with both of them being done very well. They helped me rent a moto and had it delivered to the property so I could get around the area. And I was able to get laundry done while staying there too. So very nice place to stay.
Great place to stay in Kep. Room was spacious and the air con worked well. It has a rustic feel and the nice little bungalow are nice. The hotel provided everything you would need to have a great stay. The restaurant had good food for a fair price. It's only about a 20-30 min walk to the crab market or you can rent a motorbike though the hotel to get around very easily.
Can get loud if guests are staying above you. Also the restaurant gets their seafood entrees delivered from another restaurant. If that restaurant is to busy they will not let you order any seafood from the hotel restaurant.
Le calme la sérénité
Sehr ansprechende Ferienanlage.
It was a lovely rustic atmosphere, very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I ate several meals during my stay (3 days) and the food was delicious. I loved the open air elevated dining area.
Nothing
So welcoming and helpful. Beautiful setting and lovely bar & restaurant. Possible to walk to crab market. Close to Kep National Park with a great 8km walk through it. Love that the business is a social enterprise training Cambodians to speak English and gain hospitality skills. Also has sewing and woodworking enterprises.
Shower was only tepid but not a major problem as weather was so warm.
I love the place so much.
Nothing.
Great value for money

Warm service. Cozy room. Nice and quiet place beside Kep National Park.
Nice garden and spacious bungalow, the food at the restaurant was good and the staff were friendly.
The bathroom could have been cleaner, a fan on the balcony is something that is really missing.
A green jungle jam. Very well maintained
The place is beautiful, staff is very kind, and the restaurant onsite is good and very handy. The location is also good although it might be handy to have a motorbike or so as Kep is quite spread out.
Nothing.
What a beautiful little complex. The family behind and there story is something definitely to get behind and promote. We were upgraded into a little bungalow and the kindness of the staff shone through. They run a restaurant onside and another in Kep,where the food and service was good.
Nothing not to like
Set in a beautiful maintained garden this place is a real treat. I had an upstairs room and really enjoyed the breeze in my hammock. The people are great, you can hire a motorbike for 6 $ and the communal area and the concept of Khmer Hands is wonderful. If you want to rest or recover this is the perfect spot.
Beautiful setup and an oasis of calm. It’s a little out of town but easy to walk or just take a tuk tuk. Lovely staff and it was great speaking with the owner. The restaurant and bar are lovely with great food.
I liked everything
The employees at the property are exceptionally friendly, the same lady served us pretty much every day and no queiry went unanswered, she was also able to set us up with a motorbike and was always on hand to provide suggestions of activities around the area. The room that we had was very clean and came equipped with a hot shower and a kettle; when we booked on for an extra 2 nights in another room, we realised that it had partially open roof and decided that it wasn’t for us and were able to switch back immediately with no trouble. The restaurant/ bar is open from 7-9 and serves excellent breakfast and dinner options- especially the amok! From the main area/ beach stretch, we were able to get a Tuktuk to the hotel for $1.50, id recommend getting your drivers WhatsApp as there is no grab and there aren’t really any drivers waiting around near the hotel- but it’s only a 30 minute walk back into the main area. You are also able to get a Tuktuk to kampot for $10-$12, + a small fee if your hotel is away from the main area. Alternatively, it’s very easy to get a bus down from the beach. The property is very beautiful and surrounded by nature, so expect to see some lizards, frogs and birds- particularly if you stay in an open roof room. They also have a laundry service for $1/ kg.
The lizards can be a little loud in the evenings so it’s best to bring earplugs.
The staff was very friendly and accommodated my need for a ground floor Bungalow Breakfast was great
The place is so peaceful! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are exactly as depicted. We has the wooden top floor of a bungalow with balcony our own hammock. During the day the house got a bit warm, but the fan and the windows were enough to cool it down for the night. The place serves breakfast or you can visit their cafe in the city, by the sea close to the Crab Market. Plus in their shops you can support the students of arts and design schools. Really nice place where owners are doing a good work for others and by staying there you can support the good cause too. Plus, over here we rented the best scooter for the newest price here so far when travelling through Cambodia. And there are the best massages in a training center just in the street below Khmer Hands, highly recommended!
The place is charming. The owner an adorable man. Staff incredibly helpful. Keep up! Thanks
It is the perfect place to rest - very peaceful and quiet. We lived in a big wooden bungalow with a balcony, and it was a very joyful experience. We enjoyed every moment here. The staff is very helpful. For instance, one day, we had a problem with an electrical socket: we were immediately offered to move to another house or wait for repairs. The house was cleaned every day. The food in the cafe was delicious and worth the money. We highly recommend this place if you want to relax and enjoy nature! We will be happy to come here again)
Beautiful rustic bungalows just below the National Park, a walk to Crab market and Kep. Lovely family owned business & Nari on the front desk is wonderful - very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.
There’s nothing not to like!
Nice owners, great staff, the food was fantastic...what not to like. The bungalow was nice. The laundry service was good and the wifi worked well. You can rent a scooter and if they run out of their scooters, they call a company to bring one to the guesthouse. They also organized a tuk tuk to take me to Kampot on my last day. It had a nice family feel to the place...very welcoming.
Too bad they didn't have a mini-fridge in the room. Most places I have stayed in over the past three months in SE Asia (apart from dorm rooms in hostels), have had fridges.
Nice food with affordable prices and friendly & supportive staff
Improve mattress
Idyllic setting: right in nature, amongst the trees & animals. Semi open roof so you could hear the wildlife and nothing else - bliss. Walking distance to Kep market, beach and national park - best of both worlds! huge and very comfy bed, hammock outside to chill out and lovely common space area too. Lovely staff - very friendly and helpful! yummy dinner and huge brekkie. they had a bungalow available so gave us an upgrade! After a few nights moving we were delighted. reception/dining space is especially cool - it feels like you’re in the tree tops. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
Nothing! Highly recommend Khmer Hands. Perhaps not for those who don’t like nature or animals? We had a cute frog in our room which we LOVED! It was clearly his home too 😂
the place is very nice to the national park. so there is always fresh air. the breakfast is good. The owner is very friendly.
some foreign guests came late at mid night and talked loudly. I woke up from their sounds.
Clean and lovely bungalow, friendly staff, fantastic food and restaurant area.
The property and environment were beautiful y set against the hill. It was very peaceful and we slept well in our our bungalow.
i like to live a quite place with fresh view from nature, and mountain there. And for me it's really peaceful with security there. I used to stay there for a few time. That's really great for me! So Comfort for ur inner soul as well if others seek for private place.
hmm please check about bathroom, avoid things there are working for customer.
Amazing host! She made us feel very welcome. The room is very tastefully done and we enjoyed our stay.
Nothing :)
Friendly staff, good food
Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are basic but have everything you need. We had breakfast and dinner there and the food was delicious and good value!
Slightly further from town than we realised (15-20 walk) but not a huge issue!
Khmer Hands was a highlight of our trip to Cambodia. The staff were amazing, so helpful and welcoming, and it was great to hear about the education centre and all the work they do there. The house was so much fun to stay in, you feel like you’re really in the nature! There’s also a great restaurant right on site where you can watch the sunset. If you have the opportunity to stay here please do!
Nothing!
Everything is great about Kris and Naome's place. The location is great, close to the national park, walkable distance to the Crab Market. Each bungalow is traditionally built to high standard, with natural ventilation and mosquito net to make the sleep comfortable. The hosts run a training centre for the local youth and there is a craft shop on site, so that makes it even more worth visiting. And the local foods in the onsite restaurant are simply delicious.
I wish there was a swimming pool to cool off :)
Such a special place with a special story. Owned by an American who has lived in Cambodia for 15 years. He has developed Kymer Hands as an inclusive venture for the local community, building a school along with a hand craft shop and cafe in the town. The accommodation is a series of rustic bungalows in a lovely setting about a 15 minute walk out of town. They are basic but comfortable with good toiletries, coffee/tea making facilities a comfortable bed plus a fan and mosquito net. I loved my time there.. it was tranquil and surrounded by nature. I was made to feel so welcome as soon as I arrived by the lovely Nary. She was amazing…. so helpful with everything including arranging a Tuk Tuk driver to take me to Kampot at the end of my stay with a stop off to visit La Plantation Pepper Farm. The food at the restaurant was delicious. I only had a short stay but I felt like part of the family … even the gorgeous family kitty was friendly and took a liking to my lap!
Nothing
The little bungalow was lovely and traditional. The grounds were enchanting and the food was very good, presentation was perfect!
Everything was great!!
