Reviewed Sep 2, 2026Struttura sulla strada, comodo per chi deve iniziare, o ha appena finito il Ring of Kerry! Vista spettacolare, stanza ampia con bagno molto grande. Difficile fare il buio in camera (ma questa difficoltà l'abbiamo riscontrata in tutte le strutture in Irlanda). Colazione con cereali e affettati, self service, semplice ma comunque apprezzata!

Restaurant serves evening meals (extra), and the food was good but quite expensive. (€23 for fish and chips). The location is handy for exploring the West Coast via the Ring of Kerry.
Let's be honest, this is hostel accommodation at best, albeit at Hotel prices(€130 per night for a double room and no discount for paying cash for a second night). The room was adequate but not particularly comfortable and had no TV or Tea/coffee making facilities, and the walls were paper thin so you can hear what's going on in the surrounding rooms and in the bar below. It's a bit out in the sticks but in a nice enough location. Parking is ample but across the main road. The views from some of the rooms can be lovely, when the clouds permit you can see right across the bay, but it is often covered by clouds and is changeable within minutes. There is nothing local, no shops or other places to eat/drink.

The water ran out when my husband would take a shower so he didn’t.

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026La struttura si trova in un punto molto bello e panoramico ideale per visitare sia la penisola di Dingle che Ring of Kerr. Sebbene sia una struttura molto semplice risulta accogliente. Buona la cena. Gentile lo staff. Colazione fai da te discreta.
Durante il nostro soggiorno di due notti, in camera è mancata l'acqua a più riprese, cosa che non ci ha permesso di fare una doccia o lavarci quando volevamo o di lasciare il water pulito. Lo stesso ai nostri amici nell'altra camera. Con gentilezza ci hanno spiegato che si trattava di un problema mai successo e ci hanno proposto come soluzione di usare il bagno in comune e ci hanno offerto due birre a cena. Noi però avevamo acquistato e pagato per una camera con bagno privato proprio perché non vogliamo usare bagni in comune. Tramite booking abbiamo richiesto di avere dalla struttura un piccolo rimborso trattandosi di un SERVIZIO ESSENZIALE che è mancato a tratti e che una struttura dovrebbe garantire, ma la struttura ha rifiutato il rimborso e booking ha provveduto però a scusarsi con un piccolo voucher. Ritengo importante segnalare un aspetto del genere perché qualsiasi struttura deve essere in grado di fornirti i servizi essenziali o trovarti un altro alloggio pari a ciò che hai prenotato. Di fatto, la mattina prima di partire, non sono riuscita a fare la doccia. E neanche in precedenza. Mi dispiace segnalarlo perché il proprietario e lo staff sono stati gentili ma a fronte di una nostra legittima richiesta, rispetto ad un problema non da poco, non hanno saputo venirci incontro.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026Très belle vue sur la péninsule de Dingle. Personnel sympathique. Plats au pub du rez de chaussé absolument délicieux. Chambres spacieuses et confortables. Coin salon à disposition. Petit déjeuner copieux en totale autonomie (cela peut gêner certains mais cela ne nous a pas dérangé).
Gros problème de plomberie avec un filet d’eau seulement voir des pauses sans eau durant la douche où il faut attendre que le filet revienne. Intolérable, surtout à 180€ la nuit. Ce n’était pas un problème ponctuel mais bien des soucis de réseau.

Reviewed Aug 12, 2026Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat alle Wünsche auf Nachfrage erfüllt. Das Zimmer war sauber und sehr gemütlich. Von unserem Zimmer hatte man einen sehr schönen Blick auf den Atlantik und Dingle, was vor allem in der Abenddämmerung einen magischen Moment hatte. Die Unterkunft befindet sich zwar direkt an einer Straße, die auf die Halbinsel rauf bzw. runter führt, jedoch ist es am Abend bis auf gelegentliche Autos sehr ruhig und bietet eine ländliche Atmosphäre. Im Pub kann man gut essen, so das man am Abend nicht gezwungen ist noch irgendwo hin zu fahren. Wir hatten zwei unterschiedliche Gerichte, die beide sehr lecker waren. Zum Frühstück findet man in einer öffentlichen Küche alles was man benötigt (Kaffee, Brot, Marmelade, Müsli) und bedient sich selbst. Parkplätze gibt es auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite mehr als genug. Von hier aus hat man auch einen perfekten Ausblick auf das Wasser und Dingle.

We arrived to an empty place on a Saturday evening and it became clear why as the evening progresses. The food choices were basic and way over priced. Drinks were over priced also far more expensive than Kenmare. Beware it's 2 km to the nearest village so there's no choice if you want to have a few drinks and not want to drive. I thought breakfast might redeem some of the disappointment, because had it been advertised as a self service 🤔 maybe you might describe it as a continental breakfast, I wouldn't have been so upset. We paid far too much for this service I've seen hostels that offer better breakfast than here I will add pictures of what breakfast looked so if you decide to stay here you know what's on offer

Im Badezimmer lies sich das Fenster nicht öffnen. Frühstück war eher Selbstversorgung. Auswahl war nicht groß und es wurden lieblos Behälter und Toast in Plastiktüten in eine Küche gestellt. Geschirr musste selbst weggeräumt werden - manche Gäste haben sich verpflichtet gefühlt selbst abzuwaschen. Für ein B&B enttäuschend.

It wasn’t an issue but the internet reception was terrible at the room 1 but we did have internet access by our networks so it wasn’t and issue at all but it could improve specially for foreigners.

Tea and coffee in the rooms would be beneficial. Sign on fridge to say there was cheese, yoghurts in fridge it was only by chance we saw these in the fridge. Guests could miss this.
