La ubicación es excepcional en pleno centro de Tavira y con parking cerca para dejar el coche.

La nostra camera era molto spaziosa ed aveva un meraviglioso affaccio sulla piazza di Tavira e sul fiume Gilao. Presenza di cucina condivisa attrezzata, dotata di frigo comune e vano dispensa proprio della camera.

Il bagno era esterno alla camera, ma si sapeva. Il bagno emanava odore di fogna che penetrava anche nella piccola terrazza a disposizione della camera. Mi sarebbe piaciuto trovare in camera ad esclusiva pertinenza, oltre al bollitore, anche due tazze, che invece bisognava andare a prendere in cucina, ma che soprattutto di mattina, non sempre erano disponibili. Presenza di una sola presa di corrente nel comodino. Quindi se si metteva sotto carica il cellulare, non si poteva accedere la luce del comodino. Bastava mettere a disposizione una presa multipla per ogni comodino.

It was quite a jaunt for two senior women haul their luggage down bumpy cobblestone streets from the train station to the guest house.

Que el baño esté fuera, pero ya lo indica el anuncio y además es exclusivo, no lo usa nadie más que tú, por lo que tampoco es un contratiempo muy grande.

Non hanno mai pulito la stanza e il bagno,pur essendo un servizio previsto giornalmente,in 7 notti,mai avvenuto.Il letto veniva fatto solo su richiesta,e non tutti i giorni.Gli asciugamani venivano cambiati su richiesta.Il bagno era maleodorante e non c'era il bidet.Scomodo per la distanza dalla stanza. Macchina del caffè in dotazione ma zucchero no! Le cialde al costo di 1 euro, praticamente come al bar sottostante,che lo serviva al tavolo.Inoltre la signora che faceva un po' tutto era parecchio indisponente.Il costo è eccessivo per il servizio fornito.Parlo perché ho parametri di confronto. Molto male!!!

The room was absolutely adorable and so impeccably clean (10++ for cleanliness)!!! The guest house is perfectly located in the heart of the old town.

So minor, but if I was to come up with something, it would be that the door locks are old and use skeleton key that was annoying.

Location was great. Not a far walk to get the boat to the beach. Plenty of restaurants around. Only 15min walk to the train. Staff were lovely. Bed was comfy. Kitchen was clean. Perfect for a little getaway.

Qualche accortezza negli ambienti la renderebbe ancora più bella, nello specifico una tv migliore e un pò di manutenzione nei pavimenti. Per il resto sono stata benissimo

el baño estaba fuera de la habitación y había que recorrer un pasillo. eso no lo especificaba cuando reserve y además nos toco un baño muy pequeño e incomodo pues nuestra habitación era faisan, el otro baño de al lado era mas amplio. Por otra parte aunque la ubicación es perfecta, hay que subir 3 pisos por escaleras muy incomodas con todo lo que es llevar un equipaje..

Il posizionamento della struttura è semplicemente PERFETTO. Situato proprio sulla piazza centrale del paese, a 30 metri dal ponte più iconico e a due passi una marea di ristoranti e bar a propria disposizione, non si può pretendere di più. La camera era semplicemente enorme e arredata in modo essenziale ma con gusto. A noi è piaciuta molto. Tutti gli ambienti, camera, bagno condiviso e cucina erano perfettamente puliti. Siamo stati benissimo. Nel bagno era presente tutto il necessario per farsi una doccia, ed c'era uno stipetto dedicato per gli oggetti da bagno personali ed era provvisto perfino di salviette struccanti e cotton-fiocc. Bella l'idea di non numerare le camere ma di dare loro il nome di un animale. La nostra era Cavalluccio Marino. Dando sulla parte posteriore della struttura, era anche molto silenziosa. Finestre nuove con scuri interni e apertura a vasistas e un buon condizionatore facile da impostare hanno accrescito il confort della stanza. In cucina era presente tutto il necessario per prepararsi un pasto, e perfino una macchina che depurava l'acqua, la refrigerava e permetteva di gasarla. Una vera chicca. Ovviamente non mancava la macchina del caffe a cialde e, per chi lo desiderasse, la tradizionale moka italiana. Bella la possibilità di cucinarsi un pasto e di spostarsi poi all'esterno per consumarlo, sul terrazziono, in giardino o sulla terrazza sovrastante l'edificio, che visto il posizionamento della struttura, aveva vista impagabile. Host simpatico e molto attento al cliente, che salutiamo e ringraziamo per la Sua disponibilità e gentilezza.

La possibilità di chiudersi nel bagno condiviso con un'altra camera per farsi una doccia, non era nei due giorni della nostra permanenza possibile, in quanto la serratura era momentaneamente da ripristinare. Fortunatamente gli inquilini dell'altra camera avevano orari differenti dai nostri e non c'è stato problema. Il bagno condiviso era comunque condiviso SOLO con un'altra stanza. Nella camera dove abbiamo soggiornato, ho notato solo qualche filo elettrico da sistemare e qualche piccolo urto sulle parti in legno da ripristinare, poca cosa. Televisore decisamente piccolo, ma chi sta alla televisione con una cittadina così bella?

Está en la plaza central del pueblo. La cafeteria/bar de abajo son geniales y hay música en directo justo debajo del hostal. Tened en cuenta que la plaza cierra para coches por la tarde, así que hay que aparcar antes o andar un poco.

La ubicación, en el mismo centro de Tavira. Lo limpio y grande de la estancia y la cama muy cómoda. También nos gustó mucho la cocina común, para poder desayunar o incluso comer algo ligero está muy bien.

It is RIGHT THERE in the main plaza. This is a very well run and well organised place which has a good roof terrace.

All good, but the roof terrace could be made better. It is a bit bare, just tables and chairs.

Posizione eccellente, Tavira ci è piaciuta tantissimo e grazie alla posizione della guest house abbiamo potuto girarla tranquillamente a piedi. Camere spaziose e accoglienti. Struttura pulita a personale gentile.

Le uniche note negative potrebbero essere l’assenza di ascensore e le porte della camera un po vecchie, quindi anche poco insonorizzate.

Que el baño aunque era privado estaba fuera de la habitación. Lo ponía en la descripción pero al ser puertas muy antiguas y llaves grandes, sin querer se hacía mucho ruido.

Great located, center of the city. We arrived much later than expected but they were very flexible and were able to meet us in spite of the late hour, which we really appreciated. Beds and pillows were comfortable, and because of the location, we also had a great view and were nearby everything we needed.

I didn't expect one of the rooms to have a bathroom outside the room, must be an overlook on my end, and it was quite far from the room. Also, no soap or anything in the rooms, so bring what you need. The AC in the main room started leaking on night 1 and on night 2 it would stop in the middle of the night and not restart until some time after, which was frustrating because of the hot weather. I would expect a little bit more for the total price we paid.

Au centre de la magnifique ville de Tavira! Tout près d’absolument tout. Très spacieux et confortable.

Les appartements sont assez grandes pour y faire deux chambres familiales ce qui aurait été plus pratique pour notre famille. Nous avons du louer 2 chambres qui n’étaient pas dans le même secteur de l’immeuble.

Location was good. Very clean. Lovely bed linen in room.

I was unable to lock my bedroom door from the inside. Had to place a chair in front of it for security. The noise was very disruptive and excessive from 6am. Location and proximity of my single room right beside the communal kitchen was not conducive to peace or privacy and this room is not suitable to rent to guests due to this. Other guests had no regard for other people and clattered and banged doors, utensils and cupboards in the kitchen from 6am onwards. The building is very old with wooden floors and doors (with gaps) causing excessive noise from scraping and echo. I left exhausted after 1 night having paid for 3. I have never had to prematurely vacate accommodation until then. The noise problem is not caused from sounds outside the building but internally. I spoke to the manager to report my concerns and discomfort on July 26th and to Booking.com. He did not appear to be surprised by my experience so I suspect I was not the first to complain about this. Maybe other rooms are not subject to this level of noise as they're further away. Still awaiting follow up from guesthouse and Booking.com on Aug.10th.

Localização.

La ubicacion es excepcional. Nuestra habitacion tenia baño y era super cómoda y luminosa. La cocina es muy practica. La terraza y el jardin fueron una sorpresa agradable. Los desayunos en la terraza con vistas a la plaza, son un lujo. En la misma plaza suele haber conciertos (siendo verano) pero suelen terminar en horario "familiar", ademas la habitacion está bastante bien insonorizada. Las habitaciones no tienen numero, cada una representa un animal de la reserva natural de Formosa, original.

Las almohadas (pero esto es a gustos...). Para personas mayores, que no hay ascensor.... El sistema de llaves, podria actualizarse ya que a veces es un poco dificil abrir y cerrar y el ruido podria molestar a otros huespedes...

Las habitaciones son geniales, la localización es sin duda lo mejor, está en el mejor sitio posible del pueblo, no hay sitio mejor.

Tuvimos un poco la mala suerte de tener que esperar un poco hasta atendernos en recepción a la llegada pero porque se dio así por coincidencia, nada molesta.

Fantastic location! My room had a little balcony and a view of the river and plaza.

The lock on the shared bathroom door was broken. I mentioned it to the staff and suggested that in the meantime they hang a sign on the door that says occupied/ free. Nothing was done about this the whole length of my stay. If something is broken it needs to be fixed.

L'appartement était parfait bien équipé et très propre. La literie est très confortable également. Notre séjour a été très agréable, nous avons apprécié qu'il soit situé dans une rue piétonne sur la place de la mairie. Nous ne manquerons pas de reprendre une réservation lors de notre prochain séjour à Tavira.

Great location. Lovely room and the shared bathroom facilities were very clean. We shared the bathroom with another room but didn’t encounter them during the stay.

The outdoor terrace space could be improved. We didn’t use it on this occasion.

Although I could point out a few minor details, overall my stay was absolutely wonderful and unforgettable! I arrived in Tavira about 3 hours earlier than expected, but the lady who welcomed me kindly allowed me to check in early. She was so warm, friendly and welcoming. My room was full of Portuguese charm and character. The windows overlooked the inner courtyard, so there was hardly any noise from the street, and I slept very well. The kitchen had everything I needed, although I barely used it because i preferred eating at the many traditional Portuguese restaurants and cafes nearby. I couldn't have wished for better location. The historic center is beautiful and everything is within easy walking distance. From the very first day, I found myself thinking that I definitely had to come back as soon as possible. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for such a memorable stay!

The only downside: there wasn't a full - length mirror anywhere in the property. As a woman, I find that quite important, so having at least one have been great additional.

La posizione centralissima e con parcheggi nelle vicinanze, la stanza carina e il rooftop molto bello. C'era tutto il necessario e nel complesso a buona qualità prezzo.

Un asciugamano per il corpo era macchiato, probabilmente anche lavato ma non era il caso di metterlo a disposizione degli ospiti. Le tendine per la doccia potrebbero coprire di più, essendo il bagno condiviso da uomo e donna. Il check in di persona da fare tra le 16 e le 19 in estate é un orario un po' limitante, però tuttavia gestibile.

The location was great , the size of the room and the comfy bed

We were “welcomed” by a member of the cleaning team that looked absolutely unbothered with life. Our room had the bathroom outside and was very small and incredibly hot. In a week of us staying there the bed linen was changed just once after we complained about the lack of service, the room was never hoovered and the bathroom also was never cleaned. Everything inside the room looked tired and flimsy. The state of the last drawer of the shared fridge, in the shared kitchen, was appalling, full of rotten vegetables, they were removed only after we complained with reception.

Está muy céntrico y a pesar de que la plaza puede llegar a ser ruidosa tienen las ventanas insonorizadas y puedes descansar sin problema.

No puedo poner pegas con los temas limpieza,habitación,servicios,ubicación,espacios,etc. Me gustaría quejarme más bien del check in y el check out. Puedo entender que entre un cliente y otro necesiten limpiar todo y dejarlo perfecto para el siguiente cliente, pero no puedes poner un check in a las 16:00 de la tarde y el check out a las 11:00. Sé que cuando pagas, pagas por noche pero si yo voy solo una noche,por ejemplo,¿no estoy ni 24 horas dentro del alojamiento? No me parece muy normal las horas del check in sinceramente ya que si entro a las 16:00 por lo menos dejen salir a las 12:00 o 13:00. Por lo demás muchas gracias por el trato y el servicio.

There was a fiesta going on so a little noisy at times but this had nothing to do with Formosa.

El personal, bastante antipático. Check in a las 4 de la tarde! A este ritmo se podrá hacer check-in solo a la hora de dormir?? Además no limpiaron la habitación, para que entonces una hora tan tardía para entrar?

The room and the location in the city center were simply perfect. Room was clean and light. Very recommended for a short stay.

Unfortunately there is no elevator, just take care of it when you book it in case you might need it. We travelled by car and when we asked the owner more info about parking slots in Tavira the answer we received was not exhaustive and we had to look on Google for more info.

La terraza que tiene en la azotea es espectacular, puedes (comprarte) cenar románticamente en las mesitas que hay, y disfrutar de unas vistas formidables.

This wasn't a problem for us but some may have found climbing 2 flights if stairs may have been difficult.
