The guest house overlooks a beautiful game reserve, with a waterhole directly in front of the pool and deck attracting an abundance of wildlife — we were even fortunate enough to see a rhino! The property is beautifully appointed, with lavish furniture, impressive artwork and quality fittings throughout. Our bedroom was large and extremely comfortable, with a spacious bathroom, well-stocked minibar and a private balcony offering wonderful views across the reserve. Watching the sunset over the reserve from the balcony was a real highlight and made the experience even more memorable. A luxurious and relaxing stay in a magnificent setting. Highly recommended, and we would certainly return.

The noise. I could hear two of my neighbours' televisions and it was difficult to work and concentrate. I was also the room on top of the stairs and with the wooden floor it was noisy.

Reviewed May 19, 2026Room was large, clean, comfortable and very well-equipped. Tea/coffee facilities and fully stocked honesty bar fridge. Basic cutlery and crockery provided; additionally, take-away menus from all the local restaurants. Bathroom was good - big towels, all toiletries provided, great shower. View from room was beautiful - most unusual, the dam was full, which was a visual treat and which made for satisfying birding. The impala, guinea fowl and white rhino were wonderful to watch. A very special evening sunset from our veranda. Hosts were charming. Safe, off-street, shaded parking.
The noise from the barking dog at the property as well as from neighbours was disappointing. Smell of cigarette smoke from downstairs wafted up to our verandas.
