Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Host Elsa very welcoming,room very comfortable glean and homely, beds and linen very good. lots of counters to put your overnight stuff. Has a bath and shower, plus for me.Breakfast very good. Safe parking. Definitely recommend.
Take note there isn't utensils for self cateting,there is a fridge and,communal braai erea.

Table was laid all equipment and wood available. Owner run and operated. Pub, breakfast comfortable warm bed. Big shower. . Safe parking. Great location. SCORES A 12 OUT OF 10. Elsa and Corrie made us feel so at home

Reviewed May 26, 2026Our car full of camping gear was parked right outside our door, within the walled property. Parking at unknown places far away from home is always a concern for me, but thankfully they had off road parking within the property. The beds are super comfortable and their breakfasts are superb.
Only a small mention was a fault in the plumbing for the toilet, which was reported to management and I am comfortable with the knowledge that it will be fixed.

Reviewed Jan 23, 2026Everything, but when I was greeted at breakfast on my name, what a personal touch, breakfast itself also was amazing even with pap and kaings. Friendly staff and very clean room.
I would have liked a small table and chair outside my room. I'm not a smoker but like to sit outside and work after hours, unfortunately the lapa was already occupied. Most rooms to have a table and chairs outside though, so next time I will just ask for one of them.

While Vryburg does not seem the most attractive town with not much choice of overnight accommodation either, this is certainly the best place to stay. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and if we will ever have to travel via Vryburg again, this will be my place to stay.

The lodge is clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with a lovely atmosphere to relax after a long journey. We stayed in a nice family room with both a shower and a bath, which was a real bonus. The bar area and swimming pool are large and inviting, perfect for unwinding. Breakfast was excellent and well prepared, a great way to end our stay on a high note. Overall, Lavender Lodge offered great comfort, warmth, and value for money. We would definitely recommend it and would happily stay again.
