Richtig schöne Unterkunft. Die Dachterasse mit Blick auf das Fort und über die Stadt ist das absolute Highlight. Die Besitzerin kocht im dazugehörigen Restaurant super lecker! Es war so gut, dass wir hier jeden Tag gegessen haben. Preise vom Essen top. Das Zimmer war modern und dekorativ eingerichtet, was in Indien nicht oft der Fall ist. AC funktioniert gut, Heißwasser vorhanden. Man kann zu einigen Sehenswürdigkeiten wie den Fort und den Markt laufen. Da wir Jodphur als Stadt eher anstrengend fanden, waren wir sehr glücklich über so einen guten Rückzugsort mit Wohlfühlfaktor.

We had a great stay here in a super clean and comfy room, fantastic food cooked for us in the restaurant upstairs (we haven’t had as good since) with an amazing view of the fort and the city. Also when I got very ill on arrival (from food at another place) they were so helpful sending their daughter and brother with us to the hospital to help translate and wait with the auto. We couldn’t have been more cared for.

Rooftop with a perfect view, staff very friendly and helpful, the room and bed were extremely comfy and cool. And the location is good, just next to the fort.

Maybe staff could be a little more available for when something is needed from the restaurant, sometimes they were not there.

The guesthouse is in a very good central location in Jodhpur, within walking distance of the fort, the Blue City and the stepwell. The room was simple, clean and comfortable, making it a convenient base for exploring the city. The place is run by a local family who are involved in the daily life of the guesthouse.

During my stay I was asked how much I had paid at another restaurant and also about my salary in Italy. I understand this may come from curiosity and cultural differences, but it made the atmosphere feel a bit more like a family business than a home-like guest experience. One evening the television in some bedroom (don't know which one as i didn't have tv), was quite loud until 11 pm and could be heard from the rooms, which are not very soundproof, despite several signs asking guests to keep quiet.

Heena and her family were incredibly welcoming and helpful. She ran through everything that was available to us and was happy to organise transportation to the airport. Also the location was ideal for being able to walk to everywhere we needed

L’hôtel se trouve au fond d’une venelle, donc pas de circulation. Le ghat principal se situe à 3mn à pied. Situation central . Le gérant fera tout ce qu’il faut pour rendre votre séjour agréable.

C’est super bien situé, attention accès seulement à pied ou en tuk tuk. Mais c’est bien, cela évite les Klaxons assourdissants ! Les hôtes sont supers, c’est familial, on s’y sent bien ! On a très bien mangé à leur restaurant situé sur leur rooftop, vue sur la ville et le fort

Pour un standard européen, cela manquait d’un peu plus de propreté (poussière de la VMC à faire, joints) mais attention c’est du détail !

Our stay at MH Guest House, located directly below Mehrangarh Fort, was wonderful. The Blue City and all of Jodhpur can be seen and enjoyed from the Guesthouse terrace--one of the most amazing city views I've ever seen. The Fort and many historic attractions are just a short walk from the Guesthouse. Our hosts are so kind and helpful and their homemade meals are delicious. Our room was clean and cozy. I highly recommend staying here!

Sehr schöne von einer Familie geführtes Hotel mit sauberen Zimmern und einem tollen Blick von der Terrasse über die Stadt. Wir waren aus zeitgründen nur 1 Nacht dort, würden es aber zu 100% auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt wieder buchen.

Rooms: The room was clean with a toilet and shower. The king-size bed could accommodate 2 adults and 1 child under 10 years old; an extra mattress could be added on the floor. Nearby activities: Sightseeing: Fort 5 min away. Blue Quarter 15 min away. Clock Tower 10 min away. All within walking distance,. Safety: Whether running early in the morning, during the day or late at night, we always felt safe. Walkability: No surprise, the neighborhood is at the top of the city so it's uphill... even the tuk-tuk stops 50m from the questhouse. Food and drinks: Everything is excellent Hotel highlights: Great view, Quiet Child-friendly and Great value

Terrible location in the old city .the streets leading to this stay are narrow, filthy and full of stray dogs. Only autos can ply here as streets are so narrow and once you are inside the building, you are stuck there without any transport to the main road which is more than a km away.. Not suitable for people looking for decent and clean surroundings Food was pretty bad 👎 oily and tasteless .. Also staircase leading to the terrace where food is served is a death trap in waiting as there is no railing .if you miss a step , you can fall to 2 levels below .. dangerous

Super guest house, la famille est adorable, la nourriture excellente, l'emplacement idéal, la chambre confortable et à l'écart du tumulte de Jodhpur. Eau chaude avec suffisamment de pression, ce qui est assez rare en Inde. Excellente adresse dans une ville magnifique !

Une pratique décevante au moment du règlement du séjour : Alors que le prix de la prestation était libellé en roupies, le règlement de la chambre été libellé en euros par la responsable de l'établissement, sans avis préalable, ce qui a entraîné une commission supplémentaire de près de 9% prélevée au moment de transaction par carte. Après avoir échangé avec la responsable sur ce désagrément, celle-ci s'est justifiée par le fait qu’il s'agissait d’une pratique courante. Le client, cependant aurait dû en être avisé et être en mesure d’accepter ou de refuser cette option.

Guesthouse a conduzione famigliare, con un'atmosfera tranquilla e un terrazzo panoramico da cui poter ammirare la vista sulla città blu e il forte. L'ubicazione è strategica e scenografica.. a ridosso del forte e vicino alle zone più centrali (es torre dell'orologio, mercato etc..). La famiglia che la gestisce è adorabile e sempre disponibile. Il cibo preparato nel ristorante sul tetto è delizioso e con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Dopo diversi mesi di viaggio, abbiamo apprezzato molto la possibilità di fare colazione con pancake/toast alla Nutella e yogurt con muesli e frutta fresca. C'è anche la possibilità di partecipare ad una cooking class. Camera abbastanza spaziosa, con finestra e con tutto il necessario per un soggiorno confortevole.

We just had the best stay at MH guesthouse. The owners Mady & Hena and their family are just so friendly and helpful. They really are good people. They go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and feel at home, which we certainly did. The room was very clean and so comfortable with the bonus of a great view! Good value for money in Jodhpur. They even came to pick us up at the bus station. The rooftop is the best with the view! Stunning! And the food! Some of the best food we had in all Rajasthan! We would most definitely go back and we highly recommend! Thanks for the perfect stay!

Great homestay. Everything has been great, the hosts are adorable and caring, they don't know what to do to be nice or help. Heena is a sweetheart. The food was very good and the panorama from the terrace superb. It is very nice, there are quite few rooms so it is very family. The location is great to visit all Jodhpur on foot, we did not take any tuktuk in this city. We highly recommend, and we will book again if we ever return to Jodhpur! Thanks again

Wonderful Guest House, nothing else to add!! Spotless rooms and beds! The lady was helpful and very kind right from the start. He prepared both breakfast and dinner for us (very good!!). Dinner taken on the beautiful terrace. I asked her where I could buy some spices and she went to town to get them for me! The guest house is a 5 minute walk from the centre. Beautiful place!

We stayed for 2 night. The property is located at good location where you can have nice and close view of the fort from the rooftop. The host is very friendly and she guided us with tips for local sightseeing. The room was clean. She offered us upgraded room with balcony. Wifi was good. Recommended stay.

La familia es muy muy agradable y amable. La habitación es muy bonita y está decorada con mucho cuidado. La que nos tocó era pequeñita, pero se estaba muy bien. Tienen un rooftop muy agradable con muy buenas vistas de la ciudad y del fuerte. La zona es la mejor para conocer el centro de Jodhpur.

Il soggiorno a MH Guesthouse è stato molto gentile. Avevamo una stanza magnificamente decorata e la pensione è vicina a tutte le attrazioni di Jodhpur (la maggior parte di loro puoi camminare su cui abbiamo adorato). Il cibo che servono sul tetto è incredibile!

Il trattamento di questa famiglia è veramente fantastico. Sono gentili e disponibili, la cucina è ottima, il terrazzo fresco e panoramico. La struttura è caratteristica, non modernissima ma super accogliente. Un esempio: Il giorno successivo alla nostra partenza in India si festeggiava la festa della donna, così hanno preparato anche me con hennee (a un costo minimo) e smalto! Ci siamo proprio sentiti a casa.

La casa està molt neta. Les habitacions son molt correctes. L'estada en general ha estat molt agradable. Tota la casa està decorada amb pintures boniques, parets de pedra vermella ... a dalt hi ha una terrassa des d'on es veu el fort i la ciutat, a la terrassa ofereixen ewmorzar, dinar i sopar. La casa està aprop del mercat on hi ha el rellotge 5 min caminant, i a 10 min caminant de l entrada del fort Mehrangrh. La Heena i la seva famìlia ens han atès molt bé, fins i tot ens han fet una classe de cuina india que es pot contractar. Recomano aquest allotjament i la classe de cuina.

La guest house se situe quasiment au pied des remparts du fort et très en surplomb de la ville animée. C'est donc au calme et ça rend le roof top très agréable pour la vue mais également la ventilation naturelle. Le centre ville se situe à 5mn de marche en descendant et l'entrée du fort á 5mn de marche en montant. La guest house est tenue par une famille très sympathique, la propriétaire est un véritable cordon bleu . Le menu est très varié et la cuisine absolument délicieuse. La chambre en elle-même est décorée dans le style local avec goût. Tout fonctionne très bien que ce soit la climatisation ou l'eau chaude de la salle de bain. 2 ouvertures donnent sur l'extérieur dont une sur la ville et les remparts , l'autre sur une petite ruelle. Les propriétaires nous ont organisés le trajet en tuk tuk de la gare de train á leur hébergement ,ce qui a facilité notre arrivée.

I proprietari sono dolci, disponibili, professionali e mi hanno anche aiutato molto facendomi sentire come a casa. Il ristorante? Tutto buonissimo! Che altro aggiungere? Se visitate Jodhpur, questo è il posto dove dormire! Consigliatissimi!!

Nice hidden location in a quiet part of the old town. AC worked well and everything was clean and functional in the room and hotel as a whole .

Very small room with a semi-functioning shower – hot water wasn't always reliable and you the shower was before the toilet and sink in the bathroom. We also had to do laundry here and the price was extortionate (around €15 for two small loads) – not only that but they left the clothes outside on the terrace where they were blown onto the floor so got dirty again.

Quiet family owned Guest house in the heart of the blue city. Walking distance to the fort and the vibrant market. This little hotel has also a rooftop restaurant with delicious fresh Indian food and cooking classes. Rooms are basic but clean, quiet and comfy. Highly recommended if you ever visit Jodhpur. They can also arrange taxis, tuktuk and few other commodities for you at local prices.

Beautiful, clean rooms. The host was so nice, she helped with things like money exchange (v fair rate), booking day trips, explaining the area and served us delicious food on the roof top with a nice view. It's a lovely family that helped making the most of our time in Jodhpur.

Run by an extremly friendly family who took care of me really well. Also the food was great and they had clean rooms with modern AC. The location is really good in the blue quarter and with walking distance to the Fort.

Best stay in India so far: nice and cosy room, great terrace with an awesome view, and amazing food. But the best part are the family owners, extremely nice, thoughtful, and always ready to help. (and unlike so many other places in India, they didn't even ask for this review :)

This ended up being one of the best experiences we've ever even though it started off with a little difficulty to find the place in narrow streets of jodhpur, but it was worth it. Place is neat and cosy with a terrace cafe with the view of Mehrangarh fort. Host is very helpful and friendly. Over-all amazing stay.

The rooms and bathroom are modest but clean and very comfortable. Service at a very high level. Great location for sightseeing. Food very tasty. Terrace with a roof, but too close for an insta photo with the fort. If I had the opportunity to visit again, I would definitely choose the same Guest House.

We had a very good time here! The location is perfect for the Fort, the blue city and the other main attractions. The rooms are small but very comfortable and everything was clean. The Restaurant on the rooftop is also bery nice and everything is freshly cooked. They also helped us to book a tuk tuk to the train station. This place is very special, an amazing family runs it and everyone takes part. The food is delicious and made fresh, they even offer cooking classes hosted by the Heena which I did and it was fantastic. I highly recommend checking out this rooftop if in Jodhpur, it is very quiet and peaceful on the roof you will forget you’re in a big city.

J'ai mangé mon meilleur palak paneer chez elle ! Nous avons aussi pu faire des tatouages au henné, nous sommes ravi ! N'hésitez surtout pas y aller, vous ne serez pas déçu !

I stayed here for two nights and it was exactly what I was looking for. The family that runs this guest house is really lovely and helpful with any inquiry. The guest house has around 6 rooms with a restaurant serving home cooked meals on the rooftop with a great panoramic view of the fort. The prices at the restaurant are very affordable and not inflated for the tourist market like other restaurant prices are. The room had good air conditioning and was very comfortable with fun local decor, comfortable bed, and hot water, and very clean. It’s also centrally located, only a short walk from the fort, clock tower and market, stepwell, local restaurants, and the temple/mausoleum. I was very happy with my experience and highly recommend staying here :-)

La habitación amplia, cómoda y limpia!! Al llegar nos dieron agua fría y a la salida llamaron un tuc tuc para que nos fueran a buscar. Grandes detalles que se valoran cuando estas muy lejos de casa. También comimos y desayunamos en el lugar. Todo estuvo muy bien. Los anfitriones, una familia local MUY amables. Recomiendo!!

The food choice, quality, amount, price were all very good, We appreciated being just outside the frenetic tourist area. The home and the husband & wife team were great. We felt the value was excellent, and the taxis Heena arranged from Udaipur and to Jaisalmer were each 500 INR less than our homestays at the other cities quoted.

Three of the 4 inside stairways have no railings and 2 of these are totally open on one side. They lead from the entrance, 2 floors of rooms, and up to the rooftop terrace eating area, so get used regularly. We are active, well travelled seniors but felt unsafe especially on the 2 open staircases. I slipped and fell on the polished tiles at the bottom of one flight. Younger folks are bound to get used to them much more quickly than we did in 3 days.

The location is ideal, a five minute walk from the fort entrance. The room I stayed in was very comfortable. And above all the cuisine prepared by Heena is one of the best It tastes homemade with ultra fresh ingredients, spiced to order. The welcome was extremely warm, I had a very good stay.

We stayed here in and it was the highlight of our month long trip in India. The location of the guesthouse beneath the fort is stunning. The family that run the guesthouse are lovely and their hospitality and generosity was second to none. The food was amazing and I would highly recommend doing the cooking class on the rooftop!

Heena and her family-run team provide an exceptional stay in the heart of Jodhpur, complete with breathtaking views of the city and the Mehrangarh Fort. After falling ill before arriving, I spent much of my five-day trip inside their guest house and couldn’t have asked for a better place to recover. The cosy beds, hot showers, and rooftop restaurant (or room service) - service tasty, wholesome foods and restorative teas - were exactly what I needed to make a speedy recovery. The big standout for me was the warmth and care of Heena and her family. Their outstanding hospitality extended well before and after our stay, and their kindness and help were more than we could ask for when faced with difficultly. If you’re visiting Jodhpur, I strongly recommend staying here, you’ll be in the best hands.

Our stay here was a highlight of our month long trip through India. Heena and her family are so kind, welcoming and genuine. You feel like you're an extended family member! The food was the best we had in India (in particular, we would recommend the Shai and Kadai Paneer) at very reasonable prices. Heena cooks it all herself and we can highly recommend the excellent cooking lessons she runs - just bring a notebook so you can write down the recipes to take home! We also enjoyed the option of western-style pancakes for breakfast. Heena was always free to offer us advice, in particular where to shop (and where not to) and gave us helpful estimates on how much we should expect to pay for an item - giving us confidence to barter harder where we were getting ripped off. It's obvious Heena and her husband genuinely care for those who visit the beautiful city of Jodhpur. The room was clean and comfortable, and earplugs were provided. It's located in a relatively quiet part of the old town, and the local street is comparatively clean compared to other parts of the Blue City. The location is just under the imposing Merangargh Fort, and walking distance to all tourist spots around the Old Town. The view from the rooftop restaurant is stunning, both in the morning and evening when the fort is artificially lit up. We can wholeheartedly recommend this place, we left with big smiles.
