The stay was amazing wonderful breakfast and the family who owns it are beautiful people I would highly recommend this place

Perfect stay

Authenticity. The architecture and furnishings were local (as far as I know) and the whole place was in keeping with the area. I’m not on social media but I’d imagine for people who care about that sort of thing the photos alone would be worth the stay. We were just happy to sit and soak it in. The breakfast was by far the best thing about it. Served in a beautiful garden, fresh, western food served in an air conditioned little veranda in the quiet, away from the craziness that is India.

Our son found it difficult with tight little spaces and stone steps and he was desperate to swim, so we did move on earlier than we had hoped. This was more to do with us than the property. It’s a special little place. I adored it. NB It was tricky to find late at night with tuk tuk drivers pretending to not know the area 🙄 ALL drivers have their own phone. Tell them to use it to get you as close as they can. It’s a scam. Walk the rest on foot to Bristows 👍🏼

Alors j'avais réservé par Booking une chambre pour 4 avec 2 grands enfants qui en fait était plutôt une chambre pour 2 petits enfants ! donc on a eu un matelas supplémentaire ... dans le fond c'était pratique car la chambre qui devait accueillir les 2 enfants n'a pas de climatisation ... Mais un ventilo ... donc nous avions 2 chambres dont une sans climatisation et la chaleur aurait nécessité d'avoir une climatisation ..; mais nous avons oublié tout ca grace à l'accueil et la gentillesse des propriétaires ...

Nous avons été très bien reçus par notre hôte et sa femme. Le haveli traditionnel était décoré d'objets antiques et traditionnels avec goût . La chambre est très spacieuse...hall d'entrée salon, terrasse donnant sur un merveilleux jardin bien entretenu ainsi que sur le fort en levant les yeux...une grande salle de bain et une literie de qualité...le sourire et la bienveillance sont au rendez-vous ! Nous n'avons passé qu'une nuit mais nous vous remercions pour cet accueil de qualité!

We hadden de kamer boven en dan moet je wel goed oppassen dat je je hoofd niet stoot! Wij houden van authentiek & gezelligheid dus wij voelde ons als vis in het water! Hou je meer van luxe dan is het misschien niet jou plekje! Maar wij hebben genoten!

Absolutely gorgeous! A beautifully and tastefully renovated traditional Haveli, much better even than on the pictures. We booked a twin room and got a whole apartment with two bed rooms with stunning antique furniture and a beautiful room in between with a balcony. Everything was impeccably clean and tidy. The breakfast was SOOO good and served in the courtyard where we also had a chance to meet some very nice other guests. Everything was just meticulous and beautiful, even up to the cups and plates... The hosts were really kind and incredibly helpful with everything (arranging pick-up from the airport, providing natural medicine and more). And the location is in the middle of the old town and it is a quick walk to the fort (which you can see from the balcony) and also to the shops in the old town. We would have stayed an third night if the room would have been available.

There was nothing I didn't like in this homestay.

Amazing place with cute decor, beautiful gardens…such a chilled vibe inside the old city. The owner George was there and spent time talking with me over breakfast. Nikil and his wife are incredible hosts, they maintain the house amazingly and make the most amazing breakfasts! Highly recommend if staying in Jodhpur :)

Really friendly owners and a beautiful courtyard garden. Nestled right in the heart of the old city.

This is a historic building so guests should be aware that bathroom facilities/furniture/surroundings are as you would expect from the centre of Jodhpur.

Nikhil and his family are lovely people and great hosts. The Haveli has a more or less perfect location in old Jodhpur and visiting it is a pleasure in itself, due to the beauty of the architecture, the tasteful decor, the cozy garden )perfect for meeting other guests for breakfast) and the view from the rooftop. Nikhil is also the perfect person to advise you on how to spend your time in Jodhpur. He and his family are well known in the neighbourhood for being nice people. I will stay here again if (when) I return.

This is such a little gem in the city! The property has been thoughtfully restored and well decorated with some lovely artifacts. The garden is a very welcome space when you are looking for a peaceful spot to rest after visiting Jodhpur and its beautiful fort. Great breakfast!

Super friendly staff and excellent location. The owner, Nikhl, helped us with everything we could need. The homemade dinners were delicious!

J’ai eu la chance de séjourner dans ce haveli à Jodhpur, et c’était une expérience absolument inoubliable ! Le lieu est d’une beauté sans nom, décoré avec un soin et un style remarquables, mêlant charme authentique et confort moderne. Chaque détail a été pensé avec goût, et l’ensemble respire la sérénité. L’accueil est tout simplement spectaculaire : chaleureux, attentionné et toujours de bons conseils pour profiter pleinement de la ville. On se sent vraiment attendu et pris en charge comme un invité de marque. Tout était doublement parfait : la qualité de l’hébergement, l’atmosphère unique, et même l’emplacement, idéal pour découvrir Jodhpur à pied. Un véritable haveli de rêve, où l’on a envie de revenir encore et encore !

La struttura è molto calda nel mio caso ad agosto ma questo non dipende da loro ma dal fatto che la città è rovente ad agosto. La camera è dorata di AC ma quando spegni il clima tempo 10 secondi e non esagero la stanza torna bollente, con il clima accesso però è difficile dormire perché punta direttamente sul letto.

La guest House (une véritable: les propriétaires habitent sur place, proposent le petit déjeuner et sont très disponibles) est située au pied du fort et est très proche du centre (clock tower). Il y a un magnifique jardin accessible aux invités. Le petit déjeuner est soigné, copieux et délicieux. Les chambres sont magnifiques, bien aménagées et très propres. Nous y retournerions avec plaisir.

Outstanding location close to the fort and in the old city. Amazing host who was helpful on all fronts and greeted us with tea and cookies when we arrived. Highly recommend!

The host was lovely - delicious breakfast

The hosts are exceptionally helpful and friendly. They put us in contact with a great tour guide and rickshaw driver. The property is beautiful, clean and quiet. The location is ideal, at a short distance from the fort. The breakfast and dinner were really good.

I am quite tall (185cm) and the beds were just too short for me. Not their fault though

Amazing beautiful garden to sit and relax in. Beautiful furnishings. Our host was very helpful and obliging.

On departure we were informed we had to pay our bill in cash. This was a surprise to us as we had no prior warning of this.

Nothing! It’s in a great location in the old city, it’s warm, comfortable and beautiful. Hosts are also fabulous.

A lovely stay in Jodhpur with a friendly host. The highlight is the design of the room and the beautiful garden that can be used to relax after a busy day of sightseeing.

Location convenient to walk out to central market area of Jodphur (Clocktower). Its blue walls, interior courtyard, and room decor says Jodhpur while also providing a retreat from the maze of busy streets and shops. Generally quiet at night within the haveli. Breakfasts specially prepared each day, always excellent, perfect for a leisurely start. Most importantly, Nikhil (owner) always ready to assist with directions, arrangements, and travel matters. Having a helpful local contact such as Nikhil is invaluable.

Has all the feels of Jodhpur's rich history

We LOVED staying here. It beautifully encapsulated the colourful & artistic nature of Jodhpur. We would HIGHLY recommend it. And the whole team were wonderful, they supported us with everything, made lovely breakfasts and were on hand for ANY questions. The view from the roof is honestly one of the best in Jodhpur too!

We can't think of anything we didn't like! It was such a wonderful place to stay! We'd recommend to anyone going to Jodhpur.

We had a lovely stay here in Jodhpur for three nights. The highlights were the location, the spacious room, the peaceful garden, and the tasty and nutritious homemade breakfasts with French press coffee (and one delicious dinner). Nikhil and his family were fantastic hosts - kind, good humoured, and ready with helpful suggestions when we asked. Thank you!
