Las vistas son increíbles, de lo mejor que he visto en un alojamiento en mi vida.

La caseta está deteriorada, y el baño tiene huecos abiertos por donde entran insectos. La cama es bastante incómoda.

E' come se costui avesse ricevuto (acquistato ?) una struttura costruita da una persona decisamente brava e amante del bello, e non sia all'altezza di gestirla per il valore che la struttura ha. La vue de l’hôtel et l’environnement sont magnifiques ! La vue de la chambre directement sur la mer est très belle. La chambre est simple mais convient parfaitement de plus il y a un balcon. Le restaurant sur place est très bon et pratique pour ne pas avoir a revenir vers le centre plus animé la nuit. Certes il y a bcp de marches entre la route et les chambres/ restaurant cependant c’est tout à fait réalisable.

L’établissement est situé dans un coin de l’île très calme ce qui est très agréable mais sans scooter c’est très isolé. Il y a un taxi sur place c’est 300 bath pour chaque trajet. Avec un scooter c’est idéal par contre il faut être à l’aise en scooter car la route pour accéder à l’hôtel (bon état) et raide et avec des virages serrés. Le ménage n’est pas parfait, des cheveux au sol dans la chambre mais rien de trop grave.

Estuvimos 9 días y nos hicieron la habitación casi antes de irnos, 7 días con las mismas sabanas y toallas, por el precio que pagas en el hotel no tiene ni servicio de transfer desde el puerto, estando tan apartado como está. Los precios del restaurante son elevados en comparación al resto.La “playa” esta en una costa que es fácil que haga un poco de aire y este removida ya que es totalmente abierto al mar.En resumen, la calidad-precio no es nada competente.

Posizione molto bella, dal balcone si vedeva il mare e il tramonto, il ristorante è proprio a strapiombo sul mare. Cucina buona. In camera letto comodo, condizionatore funzionante, acqua calda. Ovviamente la posizione nella giungla prevede un po’ di adattamento per quanto riguarda vari animaletti (lucertolone, blatte, cavallette, topi…) che comunque sono sempre rimaste fuori dalla camera ma bisogna stare attenti!

A differenza di tutti gli altri posti dove siamo stati, e di tutte le persone gentilissime che abbiamo incontrato, questo è stato l’unico posto in cui le persone non sono state minimamente accoglienti, né al nostro arrivo né mai. Non un sorriso, non una parola, anche le ordinazioni del ristorante si prendono scrivendo da sé l’ordine su un quaderno, quindi nemmeno li c’è uno scambio. C’era una freddezza che sembrava quasi gli dessimo fastidio. Purtroppo questo influenza parecchio la nostra esperienza presso la struttura, non ci torneremmo e non la consiglieremmo nonostante i pregi elencati sopra. Il lato umano fa tanto, e se si lavora a contatto con le persone ancora di più!

Mais malheureusement le cadre de rêve a été gâché par le gérant et le reste du personnel qui étaient désagréables (hormis l’homme qui préparait les chambres qui était vraiment adorable, merci à lui). Ne répondent pas à nos bonjours, aucun sourire, froideur d’une porte de prison. Si l’un d’entre vous perce le mystère de cette austérité, écrivez-moi. Bref nous nous sommes senti aucunement les bienvenus. Nous avons pu tester deux bungalows, le premier était vétuste (pas de draps pour se couvrir, ventilateur sale, moustiquaire ancienne, salle de bain qui mérite d’être passée au karcher) le deuxième un peu plus agréable, mais ça reste des cabanes à la Robinson au bord de l’eau donc n’attendez pas le confort d’un resort 4*!

⭐ 1/5 — Una experiencia para olvidar Nuestra experiencia en este alojamiento ha sido francamente decepcionante. Teníamos contratadas y pagadas 3 noches, pero únicamente nos quedamos 1. Al día siguiente decidimos marcharnos y buscar otro hotel porque las condiciones del alojamiento eran, sencillamente, inaceptables para nosotros. El alojamiento se anuncia como “villas”, pero la realidad está muy lejos de lo que esperábamos encontrar. La habitación no dispone de aire acondicionado, algo especialmente difícil de entender teniendo en cuenta el clima de Koh Tao. Las sábanas y las cortinas presentan un aspecto extremadamente antiguo y las cortinas, además, tenían manchas que resultaban bastante desagradables. Las ventanas no cerraban correctamente, el ventilador hacía muchísimo ruido y la cama era extremadamente dura e incómoda. El acceso tampoco es sencillo. Hay que bajar numerosas escaleras por una pendiente bastante pronunciada y, para llegar a las habitaciones, hay que atravesar varias zonas sin iluminación, con mucha suciedad y numerosos objetos y cosas acumuladas, dando una clara sensación de abandono y falta de mantenimiento. Por la noche la situación es todavía peor. A partir de aproximadamente las 20:00 h apenas hay iluminación en las zonas de acceso y no vimos ningún tipo de control de acceso o vigilancia. Al encontrarse además bastante alejado de las zonas con actividad, esta situación nos hizo sentir bastante inseguros. La atención recibida tampoco estuvo a la altura. El recepcionista que nos atendió fue bastante desagradable y poco predispuesto a ayudar y, además, nos atendió sin camiseta, algo que consideramos totalmente poco profesional de cara al cliente. Pero lo que más nos sorprendió ocurrió cuando decidimos hacer el check-out después de nuestra primera noche. Habíamos pagado 3 noches y solo habíamos utilizado 1.

Ein absoluter Traum! Direkt am Meer gelegen, ein Schnorchelparadis. Super schöne Anlage mit einzelnen kleinen Hütten. Die Ausstattung ist sehr basic, aber ausreichend. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man kann einen Roller vor Ort ausleihen, was man tun sollte, da man zu Fuß zu weit weg vom Zentrum ist.

Dla nas istotna była prywatność, a tam jest pełna. Gospodarze mają swietna kuchnie od rana do wieczora. Pomagają zamowic taxi czy wynająć skuter, lub sprzed do snurkowania. Bardzo nam się podobało. Polecamy.

Super lokalizacja nad niewielką zatoczką. Bungalowy stoją na dość stromym zboczu oferując piękny widok na morze. Super obsługa i niesamowite jedzenie przyrządzane przez właścicielkę. Obiekt jest dosyć daleko od głównego miasteczka wyspy, więc jest cisza i spokój. Ale aby dostać się do centrum raczej potrzebny jest skuter, który jednak można wypożyczyć na miejscu. Dostępny jest również sprzęt do snoorkowania i kajaki.

Wir sind direkt nach dem Einchecken wieder ausgecheckt. Es war unglaublich warm und hat nicht runtegekühlt. Die Tür konnte man nicht richtig abschließen. Das Bad war oben offen und lud Tiere ein. Es war sehr abgelegen ohne Chance auf Fußläufigkeit.

- Unterkunft (teilweise Baustellen Flair, sehr in die Jahre gekommen, extrem hartes Bett, zu minimalistisch für uns) - Sauberkeit (zuviele Tiere, kein Toilettenpapier, wirkte insgesamt nicht gründlich gereinigt) - Strand bzw. Meer (leider nicht zum schwimmen) - fühlten uns insgesamt unerwünscht, konnten keine positive Energie spüren Trotzdem sind wir dankbar, dass wir diese Erfahrungen machen durften…..man muss nichts aushalten, wir reisten nach einer Nacht ab.

schöne Lage zum Schnorcheln, gutes Essen

Unser Bungalow mit Ventilator war am Beach und er hat schon bessere Tage gesehen. Leider mehrere Kakerlaken im Zimmer, so dass wir abgereist sind. Der Host hat uns aber ein Upgrade angeboten. Vielleicht sind die neueren Zimmer besser - das können wir nicht beurteilen. Wir haben sie uns nicht angeschaut.

My bungalow was ON the beach with water below at high tide - just magical! It was great to have the 2 beaches, because while I was there it was stormy and windy on one side, while the other side was dead calm and perfect for snorkeling. This is very unique on Koh Tao. The restaurant has one of the best views on Koh Tao, especially for sunset. And I loved the little 5 minute hike accessible to guests to get on top of the boulder on the point for amazing views. The restaurant is affordable and delicious. The bungalow had a fridge and they were happy to provide a kettle upon request.

That I didn't stay longer!!!! This is far from a complaint, as the bungalow was perfectly comfortable, but I did prefer the bungalow I stayed in at Tao Thong 2, and it was quite a bit cheaper (however, it was not over the water!). Please note, it is more convenient to have a scooter to stay here. The road is steep, but you get used to it pretty quick.

Es ist eher etwas abgelegen. Alles ist einfacht gehalten aber trotzdem sehr idylisch. Der private strand ohne leute wsr natürlich top. Es war für mich genau wonach uch suchte und auch wollte. Trubel im pier in der unterkunft bekommst du davon nichts mehr mit. Es ist wie eine kleine eigene welt oder oase. Dass essen war immer ausgesprochen gut und waren für jedes meiner anliegen sofort da um tu helfen. Nette sympatische familie Ich hab mich sehr willkommen und zu hause gefühlt

Lo que no depende del alojamiento, es decir, la playa en la que está ubicado.

Queríamos darnos un capricho durante nuestro viaje y elegimos este alojamiento, el cual costaba lo mismo que todos los alojamientos en los que habíamos estado juntos, es decir, mucho dinero. Tenía buenas reseñas, estaba bien ubicado y cerca de la playa, así que decidimos pasar cuatro noches ahí dejando el alojamiento pagado desde booking. Para empezar, había muchísimas escaleras para bajar y subir hasta la recepción y empezamos a ver muchos carteles por todos lados donde ponía “no se acepta devolución de dinero bajo ningún concepto”, cosa que nos sorprendió. Entonces nos encontramos con el encargado del alojamiento, el cual es la persona más borde y desagradable que nos hemos encontrado en todo nuestro viaje. Cuando le saludabas te giraba la cara, cualquier cosa que le comentabas te miraba con asco y si podía te evitaba. Cuando entramos a la habitación no mejoró mucho la cosa. Nada más llegar vimos como las sábana estaba manchada con algo rojizo que no sabemos si era sangre o café. También había excrementos de geko en las cortinas. Al entrar al baño, parecía un hormiguero y te caían cucarachas del techo. Entendemos que estamos en medio de la naturaleza pero hemos estado en varios alojamientos en medio de la naturaleza y ninguno ha sido tan asqueroso y sucio como este. Usamos el baño y vimos que la cadena del inodoro no funcionaba, expulsaba agua por todos lados y no tragaba. Por tanto, a los diez minutos de llegar fuimos a hablar con el encargado mencionado anteriormente para comentarle que el inodoro no funcionaba, nos dijo con mala cara que iría a comprobarlo y, tras cinco días alojados, hemos estado los cinco días con un inodoro que no funcionaba. Cada vez que hacíamos de vientre teníamos que tirar cinco cubos de agua con el cubo de la papelera y, aún así, el inodoro no tragaba. De forma que imaginaos el olor que había después de cinco días sin que el inodoro trague lo que se echa. Para finalizar, se pasa mucho calor en el alojamiento por la noche.

The cost locals charge to just get a taxi there, so if you don’t hire a bike for the nightmarishly steep hills then you will have to spend $20 a day minimum in rides

Me and other two friends stayed at Tao thong villa for 4 days. It was actually a great place, the room was big enough, the patio is great, perfect to get some fresh wind after a hot day. The private beach makes this property a unique place: you are gonna find two very tiny beaches where no one is gonna be there, you’re gonna be the only one on the beach and this makes it even more beautiful.

The bathroom is awful, I’d rather to keep my needs for days instead of using that bathroom. Was dirty, full of insect, if you flush the toilet all the water will go out (I’m talking about our villa, idk if is the same for the other villas), of course if you are a sensitive persone talking about personal hygiene, Do Not Come To This Property! And a little mention to the staff: there was one Thailand lady welcoming us and she was ok, no big deal. But there was this old man (who I think was the husband) who was actually so rude, never said hi, even when we said that first or even when we used his language, we asked for a toilet paper and he was complaining about what i don’t know, don’t ask me, he was just so rude. Ps. If you’re gonna rent motorbike be careful, the way from the pier to the hotel is dangerous if you’re not expert.

The rooms were very dirty, the bedclothes had dirty spots and dead animals on them. The water from the shower smelt terrible and the bathroom was very dirty. There were no aircondition, and the fan was terrible. There was trash all over the property and they had not made any effort to clean it or hide it. If you are going to stay here, get ready for a horrible trip.

Magnificent location, pristine spot for snorkeling, staff is exceptionally friendly, the whole vibe of the place is so relaxed. I planned to stay 8 nights and then continue my travelling, but ended up staying 2 months instead. For me, the simplest bungalow with no ac and hatches instead of windows, but with prime beachfront location, was the perfect option. For those who desire more comfort or luxury, they have newer bungalows with ac, some with a fridge. All with super location and seaview. Access to a private and gorgeous viewpoint for watching the sunset. The restaurant has tasty food at decent prices. Possible to rent kayak and snorkeling gear.

Toller Ausblick von der Terrasse. Schöne Zimmer und tolles Badezimmer mit viel Platz. Die Lage ist zurückgezogen und total ruhig was uns sehr gefallen hat. Ein schöner Ort um zu entspannen.

Remote place for nature lovers; come here if you like it calm! Best Bungalows B1 and B2 directly above the shore. Great spot for snorkeling. You can see turtles, sharks and lot's of different fish.

People stepping on the corals because they want to swim or take a bath (it's not a beach for swimming!), Taxi boats and tourist boats landing and destroying, lot's of parts are already dead. The accommodation only sells drinking water in plastic bottles which causes a huge quantity of plastic waste. Use your own filter to avoid that!

Die Lage ist einzigartig. Zwei gegenüberliegende Strände/Buchten, daher immer Schatten und toller Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang. Direkt vor der Unterkunft ein Korallenriff, wir haben mehrere Meeresschildkröten gesehen. Der Bungalow ist direkt am Meer. Das Essen im Restaurant ist extrem gut und faire Preise. Direkt neben der Unterkunft Rollerverleih. Zudem befindet sich direkt neben dem Restaurant ein Viewpoint, der nur für Gäste zugänglich ist. Wer gerne schnorchelt und keinen Massentourismus mag, ist hier genau richtig. Würde immer wieder herkommen.

Die Lage ist alles andere als zentral. Ohne Taxi, oder gemietetes Motorbike, geht nichts. Negativ ist auch, dass das Abwasser direkt unterhalb des Bungalows direkt ins Meer geleitet wird.

Die Ruhe und der tolle Ausblick waren sehr schön. Die Unterkunft eignet sich hervorragend dem trubeligen Geschehen auf Koh Tao zu entfliehen und Koh Tao in seinem eigenen kleines Paradies zu erleben.

Der Bungalow wurde perfekt in die Lage „in den Bäumen“ mit diesem tollen Ausblick eingebettet. Es wurde sich auch sehr viel Mühe bei der Ausgestaltung des Interiors inklusive des Bads gegeben. Dadurch, dass es ein Freiluft Bad ist, war man jedoch jeglicher Witterung (wir hatten zu unserer Zeit sehr viel Regen) ausgesetzt, der Bungalow hat zusätzlich dazu leider einen feuchten Geruch angenommen, so stark, dass wir in der nächsten Unterkunft unsere Kleidung waschen mussten. Zusätzlich dazu hatte ich nicht bedacht, dass sich nachts Getier ins Bad verirren könnte, so dass ich abends zögerlicher ins Bad gegangen bin. Das ist nicht zu vermeiden und muss einem bewusst sein, wenn man ein offenes Bad und einen Bungalow ohne festes Dach nicht, das hatte ich bei der Buchung allerdings nicht so prominent wahrgenommen- also durchweg meine Schuld! Wer sich daran nicht stört, dem wird der Bungalow sehr gut gefallen 😊 An der Sauberkeit könnte etwas gearbeitet werden

Schöne Aussicht und tolle Bucht zum schnorcheln. Personal nett und hilfsbereit. Zimmer war bei Ankunft liebevoll mit Blumen hergerichtet. Von unserem Bungalow hatte man eine super schöne Sicht aufs Meer.

ABER: Wir hatten das Delux Zimmer mit Meerblick und offenem Bad. Natürlich muss man sich darauf einstellen das hierdurch Tiere in das Badezimmer gelangen können (dies könnte man zb durch ein Fliegennetz über der Öffnung verhindern). Wir hatten kleine Geckos im Bad und Zimmer und zwei mal einen großen Tokay Gecko. Da sich dieser in unserem Zimmer verirrt hatte und nicht mehr raus wollte, wurde uns durch das Hotel Personal geholfen. Wir dachten, jetzt haben wir „Ruhe“. Leider fanden wir am zweiten Tag sehr viele kleine Kurzflügler auf unserem Bett. Als wir die Bettdecke ausschüttelten kamen duzend herausgefallen. Wir dachten okay kann mal passieren aber hatten generell schon ein ungutes Gefühl beim Betreten des Zimmers. Am letzten Abend haben wir zum Abschluss zwei Kakerlaken im Zimmer entdeckt, welche wir selbst entfernt haben. Unser Zimmer und der Müll wurden in 4 Tagen leider nicht einmal geleert oder geputzt. Ich weiß nicht ob wir dafür an der Rezeption hätten Bescheid geben müssen aber für so einen Preis den man zahlt gehört es meiner Meinung nach zum Service dazu ohne danach fragen zu müssen. Die Toilettenbrille war leider auch komplett kaputt und ist aus der Halterung herausgerutscht. (Dieses muss dem Personal zumindest vor unserer Ankunft beim Putzen aufgefallen sein, da es nicht zu übersehen ist). Alles in allem würde ich so nicht wiederkommen.

Absolutely incredible location. Our view over the water was so stunning and the room was lovely. They rent snorkels and flippers for 50 Baht a piece. The beach is so picturesque and it is so lovely to stay somewhere so private (Koh Tao can be very busy). This is really perfect if like us you would like a peaceful stay. The water is so clear and there are loads of amazing coral and fish and turtles to see. They also offer paid taxi service to the resort from the pier for 300 baht. The food in the restaurant was really good and cheap. Also theres some really cute dogs and a cat that came and sat on our balcony!

Some of the staff seemed grumpy but it was fine because the place was really nice. There was no AC in our room so it was really quite hot even though theres a fan. There were also some ants in the bathroom.

Notre bungalow deluxe était merveilleux, super chambre, salle de bain magnifique et terrasse avec vue. Le lieu est magique avec plage privée, plein de poissons multicolores et surtout le calme loin de la foule ! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Le gérant n'est franchement pas agréable et devrait changer de métier. L'accès est compliqué, route très pentue en taxi et ensuite les escaliers donc déconseillé si vous avez un problème de genou ou autre.

Véritable havre de paix, à quelques minutes en voiture / scooter du port. Le luxe ici, c’est de pouvoir dormir au son des vagues, de se baigner au saut du lit, de manger sur une super terrasse surplombant la mer. Certaines cabanes ne sont quasiment pas équipées (seau pour la chasse d’eau par exemple), d’autres le sont plus. A voir au moment de la réservation. La cuisine est très bonne, appréciée le soir au coucher du soleil. Les plages, contrairement à ce que j’ai pu lire, sont très bien entretenues. Et l’accueil sympathique. Location de scooter sur place, je conseille !

Rien à voir avec l’établissement mais gare aux moustiques … heureusement les lits ont des moustiquaires et le vent se lève le soir ce qui les éloigne.

Fui con mi pareja y sin duda no pude elegir mejor hotel! Nos encantó la zona… era un privilegio levantarse y ver esas hermosas vistas El personal muy bien, todo muy bien y súper bonito. Sin duda lo recomiendo mucho. Muy buena comida y desayuno en el restaurante. Es cierto que para llegar pasas por unas cuestas enormes pero al final… si buscas tranquilidad y descubrir la naturaleza de KOH TAO es perfecto No apto para gente delicada con los animales…. Estás en medio del bosque/selva pegado al mar y escuchas y tienes vecinos por la noche! Pero es maravilloso!

Außerhalb der Saison.... Ist das Personal nicht so angetan von Touristen.... Was in einem Hotel ehr schlecht ist!

De locatie is geweldig. Rustig, snorkelen voor de deur en fijne sfeer en restaurant.

Super bungalow avec une vue magnifique. Le personnel est très sympathique et la nourriture du restaurant très bonne.

Si vous n'avez pas de scooter, la villa est très isolée et le taxi est très cher (300 baths) pour se rendre en centre-ville. Il est d'ailleurs moins cher de louer un scooter que de prendre un taxi, mais les routes ne sont pas évidentes pour des débutants en scooter. Il faut bien prendre en compte la localisation et le transport avant de réserver.

I’m so glad I booked a bungalow at Tao Thong villa, away from the busy streets of the center of Koh Tao! Yes, it’s secluded - and that’s exactly what I loved about it. A few tiny beaches nearby, great for snorkeling and reading, a basic but decent restaurant on the premises, peace, tranquility and a beautiful sunset every evening.

I like a firm bed, but this was too hard for me to sleep comfortably. Wish I could have rested better.

La vue sur la mer est trés agréable. Le charme du lieu Nous y retournerons.

Les marches dures a monter si vous oubliez quelque chose, les matelats un peu durs. Le bruit des travaux le matin mais rien de grave.
