Reviewed Aug 16, 2026The staff were absolutely lovely especially Justin! Water dispenser IN THE ROOM!!! Massive benefit. Spacious rooms & clean! Air con was good & powerful. Hot water shower. The bungalows were really cute & communication with staff was exceptional. Great value for money. Wifi was good! Location was good about a 10 min walk into town.
It is up a slight hill & on a night you can feel a bit uncomfortable walking with the lack of street lights. The bedsheet was constantly coming off. No fridge however the staff kindly let us use the fridge in reception. No safe in room. Could do with a better bedside lamp. All these were minor issues & would stay here again. great value for money 😊

Reviewed May 20, 2026Both Elaine and Justin who work here were absolutely fantastic. So so helpful with everything we needed whilst in Siquijor. Helped us with transport to MoalBoal and also renting a scooter whilst in Siquijor. The room itself was very spacious and even had a small kitchen area. The free drinking water dispenser was super handy too. Highly recommend :)

Elle dispose d'une grande terrasse avec vue sur un joli jardin bien entretenu. Le personnel est adorable et de bons conseils ❤️ Le logement est situé au calme mais à 10 petites minutes à pieds de la rue principale de Siquijor Tout ça pour un prix défiant toute concurrence : On recommande !

Après une précédente mauvaise expérience dans un hôtel situé à quelques mètres, nous avons choisi de venir ici, et nous ne regrettons absolument pas notre choix. L’établissement est superbe, très bien équipé, et le personnel est particulièrement accueillant ; ils ont même eu la gentillesse de nous attendre. Rien à redire, tout était parfait !

Понравилось всё. Но надо учитывать что вы остановились в деревне. Тут есть петухи,быки,козы,свиньи,цикады и сверчки. Это не недостаток. Но надо это знать. Абсолютной тишины тут нет. Но в этом есть свой плюс и местный колорит.

Reviewed Apr 22, 2026Great location close to the beachfront with some nice restaurants and bars. The property is located up a hill but easily walkable. Justin was very helpful in organising our transport to and from the port, as well as our day trip the day in a rickshaw where you go round the island as we didn’t want to rent mopeds. Room was comfortable and had clean drinking water in, which was appreciated. We did find the bedsheet a bit too small on the double bed however Justin provided another one for us to use. Wi-Fi was good in the property and we were able to download videos for our onward journey with no issues.

Chcoiaz koguty nie dawały psopac już od godziny 5 😅 Pokój czysty, zadbany, dostaliśmy nawet dodatkowe łóżko w formie rozkladanej sofy dla naszej 3 letniej córki, co jest rzadkością. Bardzo miła i pomocna obsługa. Miejsce położone na górce, aby dostać się restauracji i sklepów trzeba z niej zejść, dla nas nie był to problem. A jak się ktoś porusza skutrem to już w ogóle.

Die Matratze war ziemlich unbequem, war aber noch in Ordnung. Das Bett war für uns als Familie mit Kleinkind zu 3. ein bisschen eng. Als Paar wäre es ausreichend.

Reviewed Feb 11, 2026Die Unterkunft hatte für uns die perfekte Lage. Sie lag leicht erhöht auf einem Berg und somit war es sehr ruhig abseits des Trubels. Trotzdem konnten wir alle Restaurants und Supermärkte fußläufig erreichen. Da wir selbst kein Roller fahren hat elaine uns für alle fahrten einen guten tuktuk Fahrer organisiert. Auch generell war die Kommunikation mit elaine immer super freundlich und sie war sehr hilfsbereit. Während des ganzen Aufenthaltes stand kostenloses Trinkwasser zur Verfügung.

The rooms were very comfortable with good air con and free filtered water provided. The rooms were very clean also. As me and my friend did not ride a scooter they put us in contact with a local tricycle driver who showed us the island, which we loved!
The chickens were an early alarm clock for us everyday, but that also can’t be helped!

Les chambres sont spacieuses et très propres, avec un matelas hyper confortable, climatisation et ventilateur. Il y a même un distributeur à eau dans chaque chambre. Vraiment, rien à redire. L’accueil d’Elaine et Justin est incroyable : chaleureux, attentionné et ultra pro. Ils nous ont organisé le pick-up au port, nous avons pu louer les scooters directement sur place, et ils donnent énormément de bons conseils pour profiter au mieux du coin. L’emplacement est parfait, à proximité immédiate du centre et de tout ce qu’il faut. Honnêtement, tout était parfait. Si vous cherchez un logement confortable, bien situé et avec des hôtes exceptionnels, ne cherchez pas ailleurs : allez-y les yeux fermés.

They were so nice about everything - from tips about attractions and restaurants nearby to assisting me and informing me about my ferry to Bohol (it could have been cancelled because of a small typhoon in the area). I felt like they did above and beyond. I will definitely stay here again if I would find myself in Siquijor again.

Reviewed Oct 22, 2025הזמנו שהייה של ארבעה ימים ובסוף נשארנו שבועיים! המקום נקי, שקט והצוות כל כך עוזר ונחמד! עזרו לנו בכל מה שצריך ותמיד עם חיוך! ממליצה ממש להגיע לשם, מבחינת מיקום זה טיפה למעלה ככה ששקט ורגוע שם אבל ממש שתי דקות למרכז עם אופנוע. הם גם הזמינו לנו הסעה מהמעבורת וגם בחזור. יש גם מטבחון קטן בתוך החדר עם מים לשתייה וקומקום ויש גישה למקרר במשרד שלהם שזה ממש מועיל. תודה רבה אליין וג׳סטין!❤️

Il y a petit porche devant, pratique pour y faire sécher ses affaires mouillées par exemple. La propriétaire était vraiment super accueillante et aidante : elle nous a donné plein de conseils et était super disponible pour rendre notre séjour encore meilleur. Elle nous a même réservé à l’avance notre tricycle pour aller et repartir au port.

Reviewed Sep 3, 2025Love the countryside feels! It’s in a quiet neighbourhood 5 min (uphill-downhill) walk to the main road. The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, ac is great, and wifi is fast! Equipped with sink, plates, cups, and utensils. The free drinking water inside the room was a plus! Motorbike rental was also available. Shoutout to Justine!!!! He’s amazing, very friendly, and always helping us with anything we need.
The uphill downhill walk to the main road but it’s fine since we rented a motorbike.

It was to hard of a walk for me to go to the main attractions even though only 300 m I have limited mobility and going back to the motel it's all up hill but there were plenty of tricycles to get me back and I got the guys number so I could get a ride from the motel.

Good AC and hot water and a small kitchen area with a sink, plates and cups, and free drinking water. Motorbike rental is 350 PHP and the staff is super friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately the island was suffer power outages and there was nothing Uptown could do about that but they provided back up power banks to charge phones and supply power to the fan to keep us cool. Great location and a lovely spacious room.

Reviewed May 22, 2025This is the best accommodation for a family like ours. It has a clean and spacious room with a sink and free mineral water. There is one table inside and outside the room. A clothes rack is also provided in the balcony for drying clothes. There's a common sink to wash some clothes. In just 10 minutes by foot, a beautiful public spring and beach can be enjoyed.
Nothing. There were electricity power interruptions but a power bank is provided just in case.

Reviewed May 15, 2025The room is super clean, comfortable and has everything you need with purified water, drying rack, etc. The mani San Juan street is a few minutes walk away but the guesthouse offers good scooters to rent to explore the island. Besides the accommodation itself, the staff is beyond helpful and were of great support to us with a medical issue, accompanying us to nearby facilities and translating… definitely one of our favourite place to stay in our trip. Thank you so much to Elaine, Justin and the rest of the staff!!

The guesthouse is located in a quiet area and is only a short walk away from restaurants and the beach. The room was comfortable and clean and very spacious. I really couldn’t recommend uptown guesthouse enough it was perfect

They rent a good new scooter (best bike we had on Philippines) for a reasonable price. Good location if you have bike otherwise you have to climb a small hill to get back walking
