The location is near the beach but without beach access through it is located by the road and is very noisy. The beds are basic but the room was clean and had basic amenities

The location is problematic due to the noise. DO NOT BOOK THIS ONE IF YOU ARE A LIGHT SLEEPER. Despite using earplugs, it was not possible to properly sleep, the road is so close, cars and scooters go fast and you can hear everything inside the room as it is not isolated well, the windows are single glaze and the entire construction is quite old and basic. In addition to the road noises, the air conditioning is very old and is very loud! We had to leave and book different accommodations despite the fact the booking was non-refundable as we couldn't sleep

La atención del equipo, todas las personas que había en la recepción nos ofrecían ayuda y facilidades. La ubicación para mí es la mejor en la zona de San Juan, no tienes la playa enfrente pero está a un minuto caminando. Hay aire acondicionado y ventilador, ofrece desayunos y comidas. Tiene motos para alquilar y nos ayudó gestionar el tuk tuk de vuelta al puerto. Se puede ir caminando a los bares y restaurantes, hay un supermercado bastante cerca.

La chambre est propre et les équipements confortables, sympathique terrasse. Possibilité de louer un scooter à l’hôtel et c’est très pratique !

We loved staying at Hanna’s place. We planned on staying 4 nights but then extended to 8! The location was great, close restaurants and short walk to the beach across the street. Loved that there was a gym walking distance as well. We rented a motorbike through them, they were so helpful.

The ac is a bit loud and the road is also a bit loud to thise who are more sensitive to that. But very common in Philippines 🤭

Great location, but quite noisy. This is a general issue in the area as the most of businesses are placed along the main road. Earplugs needed. Overall OK for a couple of nights.

Echt een super fijn verblijf gehad! De gastvrouw is heel vriendelijk en gastvrij, waardoor je je meteen welkom voelt. Alles was ook echt super schoon. Je merkt dat er goed wordt schoongemaakt, zelfs door meubels te verschuiven om overal bij te kunnen. Dat gaf ons een heel prettig gevoel. Het balkon was heerlijk om even te zitten en de airco werkte top, dus ook dat was helemaal in orde. Je hoort de straat een klein beetje, maar wij hebben daar totaal geen last van gehad. We hebben gewoon prima geslapen, zelfs zonder oordopjes. Al met al echt een aanrader!

Niks, alles perfect!

De uitbaters zijn zo super vriendelijk en gastvrij. Dat waren zo overal wel in de Filipijnen, maar dit overtrof ze allemaal. Het ontbijt en het eten was super lekker en betaalbaar. wat ook super goed was, was dat je koffie en water 24/7 gratis beschikbaar was.

Ik heb niets negatiefs ervaren. Alles was Top!

I can’t fault this stay enough! We had a lovely room with a nice en suite and good aircon. The owner is amazing, super friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. We were driving inland in the north, and saw a 5/6 week puppy on its own in the middle on the road. We thought it best to take it to Hanna’s place for advice as to where to take her. She instantly decide to would be best if she adopted her, and named the puppy after my Girlfriend - with Ellie being a new addition to the stay. Thank you for being so kind and welcoming, to both us as guests and to Ellie the pup! We loved our stay here and will be coming back to see how Ellie has grown and to stay here again.

​Hanna's Place was a highlight of our trip. The accommodation is spotless and very cozy. We especially enjoyed our morning coffee (which is free!) on our own little terrace overlooking the well-kept garden. The location is perfect: central enough to walk to many shops and restaurants, but still very peaceful at night. Hiring a scooter was super easy as they arrange it for you. We would definitely stay here again!

El lugar es encantador, está todo muy limpio y bien ubicado y el personal es maravilloso.

Zum wunderschönen Strand waren es nur wenige Meter. Restaurants und Läden fußläufig schnell erreichbar. Die Wirtin und das Personal waren sehr nett. Es gab rund um die Uhr Kaffee zur freien Verfügung. Die Terrasse war sehr schön.

Klar, die laute Hauptstraße direkt vor der Unterkunft ist sehr störend, zumal die Straße an der Stelle beginnt, bergauf zu gehen und die Fahrer mehr Gas geben. Man gewöhnt sich aber dran. Nachts ist es ruhig. Da fährt kaum ein Fahrzeug. Schlafen ist möglich.

The staff were very kind. The plave was clean and i could walk to restaurants and shopping if I needed.

It was noisy at night on Saturdays. Not the owners fault, it is on a main road in San Juan. Just bring earplugs. I was fine

そこまで暑い日ではなかったせいかもしれませんが、エアコンが良く効きます。暑くて困ることは一切ありませんでした。 平屋の長屋タイプのお部屋で、私の泊まった部屋は角部屋だったので特にプライベート感は抜群だった。また玄関前の屋根のあるテラスがあり良かった。レストランでの朝食をそこまで運んでもらい食べれたのは良かった。 いろいろお店のある賑やかな立地のため、歩いて行ける範囲でもたくさんレストランやバーが有り、5泊ではすべて行くことができないくらい。少し遠くになるともっとあり選べないぐらい。また、有名なバリトンビーチも歩いて20~25分と散歩感覚で行けたのは良かった。 ウォーターサーバー横にフリーのコーヒー(インスタント)などがあり、好きなだけのんでいいよという感じで良かった。 ホテルでレンタルバイクをやっているので、バイクのレンタルをいつでもできるため、とても便利でした。また料金リーズナブル。

立地良いことの裏返しだが、幹線道路の前のため一晩中車やバイクの往来が有り、騒音が気になることが多々あった。 これは仕方ないことだが、ウォーターサーバーが部屋の外のコーナーにしかないため、都度外に出る必要があることは少々面倒であった。 シャワーの出(水圧)が許容範囲内ではあるが、弱いと感じた。ただ温度は十分熱いお湯が出るくらいなので満足。 部屋に冷蔵庫がなく、飲み物やお土産を買い置きすることができずに残念だった。(ホテルで少しの飲み物は売っているし、シェイクやジュースなども買うことができるのでなんとかなったけど) シャワーブースに仕切るカーテンがないため、シャワーの度にトイレの方までびっしょりになってしまうのは困った。

Sehr laut, da direkt an der Strasse (wir wurden aber beim Check in darauf aufmerksam gemacht).

Central area to stay, basic room but clean with everything you need. Team are so lovely too & you can rent bikes for a reasonable price too!

Hannah was very helpful and friendly. She is always keen to help with transport, recommendations, etc. The room was spacious and very clean. There was plenty of space for bags and a rack to dry wet beach clothes in the terrace. Nice little garden area in front if the rooms.

The location is good though on the main road so if you are a light sleeper make sure you have earplugs.

Hanna’s Place is an older basic accommodation but it was clean, in good order, with good wifi, hot shower, free coffee, motorcycle rental and plenty of space in the room. The ac was ok or you can use the fan. The owner was lovely and very helpful. It’s at the end of the San Juan 'strip' with not much beyond in the direction of Siquijor town but literally only one or two minutes walk the opposite way to some really nice restobars, ice cream shop, supplies store, ATM or the beach across the road. TukTuk was 350 PHP to/from the port/town. San Juan (Siquijor) is super chilled, and everything Siargao should be !

It is right next to Siquijor ring road, which means it can be a bit noisy from the traffic. It depends how heavy you sleep if that’s a problem.

Desde el primer día nos ayudaron con todas nuestras dudas. Es un hotel acogedor, las habitaciones tienen una buena terraza, con perchero para secar las prendas de ropa. Buen aire acondicionado y ventilador. La presión de agua es buena y agua caliente. Muchas plantas lo que hace que te sientas en plena naturaleza. Dispones de café y agua gratis. Puedes alquilar moto en el mismo hotel!!! Son muy amables y te ayudarán en todo lo posible. Muchas Gracias.

This was our favourite stay in Visayas, wish we could have stayed longer! It's a wonderful and quiet place in a beautiful garden setting with a small private terrace in front. The owner is very welcoming and helpful and arranged a tuktuk for a tour around the island.

No breakfast is served on site, but we didn't mind since there is a nice restaurant just a few minutes down the road.

Die Klimaanlage ist leider extrem laut.. das hat sehr gestört. Schade, sonst ist die Unterkunft sehr gut.

Location was amazing, staff was really nice, scooter rented there were great, room were extra clean, bed super comfortable, I understand now why they have such a high rating! At first from just the photos it didn’t look so incredible but it truly is!

Heel erg genoten van mijn verblijf bij Hanna’s place. Ook hier mijn scooter kunnen huren. Centraal gelegen in San Juan, heel lief en behulpzame staff.

Alles war perfekt!

Man kann direkt bei der Unterkunft Roller mieten. Die Lage ist gut mit dem Roller ist alles schnell erreichbar. Der kleine Balkon ist schön. Besitzerin hat uns ein Tuktuk für früh Morgens organisiert an den Hafen.

Zimmer sind sehr spartanisch und etwas lieblos eingerichtet aber für den Preis ok. Es ist sehr laut, weil die Zimmer direkt an der Hauptstrasse liegen. Es gibt keine richtige Fenster deshalb Dauerlärm auch Nachts. (Viele laute Motorräder) Wir haben nie wirklich gut geschlafen und sind normalerweise nicht sehr heikel. Es kann nur die Besitzerin Englisch, diese ist aber nicht immer Vorort und man kriegt somit keine schlaue Info oder Support, wenn nur das nicht Englisch sprechende Personal vor Ort ist.

The accommodation itself is really good for the price and has everything you may need. However, it is located right next to a busy main road, only about 2 meters away. The traffic never stops, and almost every five minutes a loud motorbike passes by, including throughout the night. Because of the constant noise, we could barely sleep during the four nights we stayed there. For this reason, I would not stay here again. It may be fine for heavy sleepers, but it is definitely not suitable for light sleepers or anyone looking for a quiet place to rest. Other than that, the host was very nice.

The owner was very helpful. Very nice patio by every room. Clean and big room.

We had a wonderful stay at Hanna’s Place in Siquijor. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly. We happened to be there during a typhoon and power outage, but the owner made sure to keep us updated on the situation and checked in to ensure we were safe and comfortable. Despite the bad weather, we felt well taken care of. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Siquijor!

Lovely helpful staff, good location, free water refill and coffee. We rented bikes which was easy and reasonably priced. They did their best in the power crisis to keep electricity going with a generator. Thanks so much for a comfortable stay :)

Ideal location for exploring Siquijor island. Everything you need is nearby. Staff are very welcoming and accomodating.

Very good location, very cozy environment and good rooms

Nice clean rooms and wonderful staff. Little extras like water and coffee 24/7 were nice touches. The rooms are a good size and the balcony was lovely. The best budget hotel I have stayed in in the Philippines!
