Unique Hotel and Lodge - Pleasure of Homely Stay -

lhad a wonderful stay at this unique hotel and lodge. The food was delicious and tasted just like home-cooked meals. The owner created a warm and welcoming family-like atmosphere throughout my stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The prices were very reasonable, making it an excellent value for money. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely love to visit again. Highly recommended!

Toilet was broken. Did not appreciate owner asking me to come inside before ten pm whilst i was eating dinner with someone at 9.45 next door. Tried to go out at 5am for sunrise and was locked inside hotel so could not go

it's alright, had breakfast included with our stay. owner/manager gave us info on things to see and do.

La posizione, ma c'è di meglio.

Pessimo hotel. Già all'ingresso si è accolti da un forte odore di muffa e umidità e, all'interno delle camere, diventa insopportabile. Le lenzuola e le coperte erano logore e bucate, l'unica notte che vi abbiamo trascorso è stata terrificante: insetti e scarafaggi si muovevano sul pavimento e sull'altro letto. Ci siamo spruzzati il repellente per gli insetti su tutto il corpo e sui nostri bagagli. L'aria condizionata (menzionata tra i servizi) è un vecchio ventilatore ricoperto di polvere che, alla prima accensione è caduta sui letti. Il peggio (forse) è arrivato quando, dimenticandoci di chiudere la porta a chiave, un signore ha fatto irruzione violentemente nella stanza (sembra stesse cercando qualcuno!). La proprietaria, durante il pagamento, per mostrarmi il cambio dollaro-rupie mi ha letteralmente strappato di mano il cellulare per cercare su Google e quando mi sono avvicinata per riprendermelo si è allontata e ha iniziato a digitare vocalmente quello che voleva cercare. Le ho spiegato che il mio cellulare era impostato in un'altra lingua e me lo sono ripresa. Posizione buona ma c'è di meglio.

Damp room Wifi didn't work

the location was rly good - was quiet and not on the main street but still super close to it. the bed was comfortable and the food was really good

the fan in the bedroom was super dusty / parts of the bedroom in general didn't feel very clean. also i asked the staff to help me book a bus but they didn't do it until late at night and all the buses i wanted were sold out and the one that was left was so much more expensive than what my friends paid from the same location. also lots of the reviews said that the staff spoke english but they didn't really understand me and it was a bit of a nightmare trying to communicate.

We had the best stay at the Unique. We needed up staying for longer because the hotel was perfect and it’s a great location to visit the charming town of Bandipur from. We visited over Nepali new year and there was so much going to go and see in the town. The hotel was comfortable, clean and reasonably priced. Hot running water, laundry service, AMAZING breakfasts each day. Each day they made us something different and delicious. The family who run the Unique are so easy to get along with. Incredibly nice people. We had a room with a big balcony. It was a wonderful stay. Thank you so much!

One of the best hotels where I stayed in Nepal. The owner is super friendly and the breakfast is amazing! Location is great, it’s close to the city centre. The bed is comfortable and the hot shower is great. Thank you so much!!

The owners of the lodge are absolutely lovely. Very helpful in helping me with my onward travel. The Masala tea was lovely. The views were amazing. It was very peaceful so you get a great night sleep. :)

very clean room, hot shower, delicious breakfasts and run by a lovely family! stayed for two nights and would recommend. it’s a 5 min walk from the Main Street in Bandipur so nice and quiet in the evenings. we ate here one night and the food was amazing - all freshly cooked!

our bathroom was quite small but this won’t stop us staying again!
