Non c’è molto da fare, apparte un monastero in fondo alla strada, carino, ma c’è solo quello! Hotel immerso nelle piantagioni del tè, ma per spostarsi serve per forza un mezzo!

We were absolutely blown away by the view from our room — it was even more beautiful than we had imagined. The room and bathroom were spacious and lovely, and the bed was very comfortable. The view from the bed was simply breathtaking, especially at sunrise. The café/restaurant area is very cute and such a pleasant place to relax. All the food is prepared on-site and was absolutely delicious. Breakfast was the best we have had so far on our trip. We also took part in a cooking class, which was an absolutely wonderful experience and one of the highlights of our stay. We would come back here without hesitation if we ever return.

Nous avons séjourné à Nilowin pour deux nuits, en famille. Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Les chambres sont spacieuses, propres et bien équipées. La vue sur les montagnes, magnifique. Nous avons pris diner et petit déjeuner : tout est cuisiné sur place avec des produits frais, nous nous sommes régalés. L’hôte est également de très bon conseil pour les visite et nous a réservé des tuktuk pour aller visiter les plantations de thés. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, bien dormi, bien mangé. Merci mille fois à Saman pour son accueil et sa gentillesse, nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Highly recommended. We had a spacious, beautifully designed room with large glass windows that allowed us to enjoy the amazing views of the surrounding mountains. It is clear that a lot of thought has gone into the details and aesthetics of the place. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. The owner and manager, Saman, was very friendly and attentive. He took the time to explain the different walking trails and give us useful information about the area, and also arranged an early-morning tuk-tuk for us. Breakfast was excellent, as was the other food we ordered, and the coffee was especially good. A beautiful and very pleasant place to stay in Haputale.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Nilowin Glenanore Guesthouse ! Les chambres offrent une vue magnifique sur les montagnes et les plantations de thé. Nous avons fait une superbe balade à travers les plantations : des paysages incroyables et des vues à couper le souffle. Un très beau moment. Nous avons également participé au cours de cuisine, que je recommande vraiment. Nous avons appris plein de choses et cuisiné tous ensemble un délicieux repas sri-lankais, dans une ambiance très chaleureuse. C’était à la fois amusant, convivial et très intéressant. Après une excellente nuit et un super petit-déjeuner, nous repartons avec plein de belles images et de très bons souvenirs en tête. Une étape formidable à Haputale que je recommande vivement ! Piękne widoki piękna okolica wzgórza herbaciane po których można spacerować i spotykać pracujących tam ludzi. Do miasteczka około 5 minut samochodem więc to żaden problem. Hotel położony w idealnie cichym miejscu z panoramą i pięknymi widokami. W pokoju czysto ładna Biała pościel ale odejmuje jedną gwiazdkę za dwie rzeczy: - zamiast jakiejkolwiek kołdry dwa prześcieradła A pomiędzy nimi luźno leżący koc który już pierwszej nocy wyrzuciliśmy z łóżka - wszędzie na podłodze poukładane małe dywaniki w tym dywaniki w łazience, które były tak brudne, że musieliśmy je zwinąć żeby na to nie patrzeć

A serene homestay with a very hospitable staff. Our room was spacious and clean, with a beautiful view. We had a very nice home-cooked dinner, and the Sri Lankan breakfast the next morning was large and tasty. A special highlight was the Nilowin cafe with many coffee options brewed from the locally grown beans. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here.

What is there not to like. Nice view, very tasty breakfast and dinner. We really enjoyed our two-night stay. A special mention for the host, who was friendly, helped us to reach our next destination, gave honest advice on what to do, and arranged a driver at a very reasonable cost. In short, the best host we had so far. Finally, the cooking workshop on site is a real recommendation!

Prachtige en gezellige ruimte om te eten. Ontzettend lekker eten. Fantastische kookworkshop, ook de kinderen van 8 en 10 jaar hebben er van genoten. Heel vriendelijke mensen. Een echte aanrader!

Ce Guesthouse est tout simplement fabuleux... Tout est parfait. La chambre est superbe et que dire des petits déjeuners et du restaurant juste fabuleux ! Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits et ne regrettons pas notre choix. Saman est vraiment d' une gentillesse inouïe et nous avons passé un super séjour.

Seul petit bémol il n y a que des persiennes et il fait vite jour... j' avais un masque donc aucune gêne pour moi.

Room & View: The Deluxe Family Suite was brand new, spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a stunning view. The Highlight: The cooking class at 'Nilowan Spice Kitchen' (run by Saman and his sister) was incredible. It’s worth staying here just for this class! Service & Breakfast: Ramesh was so cheerful and helpful. The breakfast hoppers were crispy and delicious, and the tuk-tuk arranged by Saman was reliable and fair-priced.

Everything was organised with care. The people how work there are helpful and very kind. The breakfast, the dinner, it was lovely. And they have really good coffee. The place is beautiful with a really nice view. They have a suprisingly nice place for breakfast an dinner. You really should have a look there!

La chambre est superbe, dans un lieu paradisiaque. L'hôte est très avenant et fait tout pour que notre séjour soit le meilleur. Le cours de cuisine est juste une expérience fantastique, un moment très convivial avec des gens magnifiques. A recommander les yeux fermés

Nous avons dormi dans la suite familiale deluxe, et c'est un vrais bijoux. La piece est vitrée sur 2cités et demis, sans aucune vis a vis et avec une vue époustouflante. La terrasse légèrement en hauteur donne l'impression d'être seul au monde et la nourriture (petit dejeuner et repas du soir), entièrement faite main et a la commande est la meilleure que nous avons mangé sur tout notre séjour. Saman et Ramesh sont au petit soin, et de très bon conseils sur les choses a voir ou faire aux alentours

Everything, the place is heaven and the staff are angels The food quantity is extremely generous (good enough for two) and the quality is as fresh as it gets. The taste is out of this world. They have most facilities available and go out of their way to arrange comforts that aren't available.

We had a fantastic stay in the Deluxe Family Suite. The room was modern, spacious, and luxurious, with breathtaking views of the mountain ranges. Watching the sunrise and sunset from our room was truly unforgettable. The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and memorable stay!

Der Blick vom Balkon auf die Berge ist einmalig. Der Gastgeber ist sehr hilfsbereit. Er gibt auch Kochkurse und dementsprechend gut ist das Essen dort! Bessere Curries hatten wir nirgends in Sri Lanka. Man kann direkt von der Unterkunft schöne Wanderungen machen.

I can't talk highly enough about Nilowin Glenanore guesthouse. We felt like we were part of the family and even though we only stayed a night really enjoyed the experience. We did a cooking class and learnt heaps about Sri Lanka cuisine. The views are unbelievable and the hospitality is second to none.

This is one of the best hotel I've ever stayed in Sri Lanka! Being surrounded by misty clouds, and the view of the tea plantation from the room is stunning, which makes me felt like being in a fairyland. The dinner and breakfast were amazingly delicious. In the morning, there were even adorable monkeys jumping around on the balcony.

There is A long climb down from the main road to get to Room #7 which was what we booked, so if you have big luggages like we had, it will be a nightmare. But the host arranged a person to carry it for us, and we tipped him LKR 500

From the friendly welcome to the warm goodbye, our stay at the guesthouse was a wonderful experience. The breakfasts were the best we’ve had on our trip — a true taste of Sri Lankan cuisine — and the cooking class gave us the chance to create our own dishes. The location was perfect for hikes and offered cooler weather, making it ideal for some downtime. Overall, our stay here was a highlight of our trip.

Очень классный, при вас все готовят, вкусно и большие порции. На обратном пути хотел снова остановиться в этом отеле, хозяин сказал что комнаты уже забронированы. И предложил очень классный номер над рестораном. Этот номер превзошел все ожидания, он огромный красивый с панорамными окнами, с двумя двуспальными кроватями. Красивая подсветка. Огромный балкон, утром просто сидели и наслаждались видами. Смело рекомендую этот отель всем кто решит остановиться в Хапутале.

The room is spacious, clean, and comfortable. The balcony offers beautiful mountain views—perfect for relaxing with a pot of tea. Right across from the property is a tea plantation, and there are nearby steps leading to higher viewpoints where you can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding valleys and tea fields. The property is also located along the way to Adisham Bungalow. They offer paid dinner and breakfast, both of which are very generous and delicious—excellent value for money. The staff are cheerful and welcoming, always happy to provide travel information and assistance. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to stay a few more days and never leave.

They should have a fan, specially these days its bit hot during day time. Wothout fan its sweating. After evening it gets cold.

If you come to Haputhale, you have to stay here ! Amazing place, views are breathtaking, beds are super comfy and the staff is great ! Definitely our best hotel in Sri Lanka. You also have to do the cooking class where you get to cook traditional Sri Lankese food, one of our best experiences.

Очень понравился отель. Номера простые, но чистые и функциональные. Есть горячая вода в душе и тёплые одеяла - это важно, так как ночью может быть прохладно. Красивый вид из окна, туман вечером и на рассвете просто завораживает. Отдельно хочу отметить ресторан. Вкусные ужины и завтраки за приемлемую цену. Можно заказать кулинарный мастер-класс. Но мы задержались в дороге и, к сожалению, не успели на него.

Gros coup de cœur pour l'hôtel et la région d'haputale ! Quelle vue depuis la chambre et on a adoré marcher autour de l'hôtel dans la forêt et les plantations de thé. On a eu la chance de faire le cours de cuisine et c'était super. Superbe cuisine. Super accueil. A ne pas rater !

Die Lage war super schön. Man hatte einen tollen Blick über das Gebirge. Die Zimmer waren gut ausgestattet und sehr geräumig. Die Gastgeber waren sehr herzlich, freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend.

Everything! Friendly and efficient host Saman greeted us on arrival and remained available and helpful throughout our three day stay. The cooking course was fantastic, informative and hands-on, with a series of dishes which we ate for supper- followed up by photos and recipes being forwarded next day. A really fab, fun evening! Our room was superb, stunning!- with panoramic views across the mountains and misty valleys. The en-suite was lovely, clean and spacious. The restaurant was through the garden- a hidden jungle gem! Breakfasts ( Sri Lankan) were great, with egg hoppers freshly made and all the trimmings. Overall, a way above average establishment, top notch in every respect, highly recommended.

We had an amazing 2 nights here in the deluxe family room. The views are incredible from the room and the balcony. All of the food was delicious and we really enjoyed the cooking class too. Everyone at the guesthouse was so helpful and friendly, gave us great recommendations for things to do nearby, and arranged a driver for us to our next stay. Would recommend to anyone and we wish we could have stayed longer!

No lunch available when we were there but we really enjoyed roti and curry from a street food place nearby and it’s also only a short tuktuk ride into Haputale where there are lots of options.

L'accueil de la famille de Saman est extraordinaire. Arrivés tardivement, ils nous ont préparé un plat du soir. nous avons la suite familiale de luxe, chambre récente, très grande et lumineuse avec vue incroyable sur la montagne. magnifique terrasse. le catering est fantastique. ils cuisinent devant vous et proposent des cours de cuisine de très bonne qualité dans un cadre authentique. les meilleurs petits déjeuners du voyage. Saman nous a très bien conseillé pour les randonnées et activités autour d'Haputale. Une très bonne adresse et coup de cœur de notre séjour.

Nous avons séjourné une seule nuit avec nos deux enfants dans la chambre familiale et c’était incroyable ! Nous aurions aimé rester plus longtemps ! Le personnel est absolument adorable, la cuisine délicieuse et le cadre : au milieu des plantations. Nous avons également fait le cours de cuisine et nous nous sommes régalés : nous avons appris plein de choses et les cuisiniers étaient d’une gentillesse incroyable.

On a tout aimé ici. Les gérants sont tout à fait charmants, très aidants et aux petits soins. Le cours de cuisine est à faire absolument, dans leur "dream kitchen" comme il dit. Un endroit magnifique où la vie de famille se mêle aux touristes. Le petit déjeuner est de loin le meilleur que nous ayons mangé durant notre séjour. La Guesthouse est située un peu loin du centre mais à proximité du Thomas's seat (vue exceptionnelle au lever et au coucher du soleil) et d'un monastère chrétien qui vaut le détour. La vue de la chambre est superbe et les ceuilleuses de thé peuvent être juste en face certains jours. Ce sera clairement notre coup de cœur du voyage. Merci pour tout.

사장님과 직원이 엄청 친절하고 편안하게 대해줘요. 밤에 불끄고 야경을 한번 보세요. 감탄 나와요. 제가 묵었던방은 조금 낡았지만 정말 깨끗했고, 방에서 멋진 일출을 볼 수 있었어요. 2면이 유리창으로 이어져있어서 멋지더라고요. 영어 잘 못해도 쿠킹클래스 쉽게 설명해줘서 같이 참여한 분들과 즐거웠고요. 아침식사 드셔보세요. 남자사장님이 요섹남입니다. 에그호퍼 맛있게 잘 해주시네요. 아디샴 방갈로랑 근처 차밭 산책나가기 너무 좋습니다. 또 묵고 싶네요.

We loved the view from our room. It was exactly like the photo. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and it was very tasty. My partner did get a bit unwell from the spiceness of dinner so be mindful of this if you can't handle spicy food. They also have a cooking class, which we didn't do but looked great. Perfect location to see all the major sights in the area. There is also a lovely view of some tea plants.

There was a bit of construction noise on the property starting around 9am and the walk down to the restaurant can be slippery as it is outside down some steps and a few ramps.

A great little guest house with an even more amazing host! All the staff go above and beyond, nothing is too much trouble! The food is something else. Breakfast and dinner are served in a beautiful oasis of a restaurant and is just delicious! We took part in the cooking class which is a must! So much fun and lots of great dishes to try.

We liked everything! Saman arranged a great tuk tuk trip to Lipton’s Seat and our transportation to our next destination, both first rate.

조식 / 석식을 추가금내고 이용할 수 있는데 진짜 맛있게 잘먹었습니다. 이곳 식당이 다른건물에 위치해 있는데 분위기도 좋고 사장님 두분이 요리를 너무 잘하시는거같아요 ㅠㅠ 스리랑카 음식 별로라 생각했는데 여기서 밥먹고 생각바꼈습니다. 사장님 둘 다 정말 친절하고 세심한 편이에요. 날씨가 안좋아서 방이 춥긴했지만(따로 냉방/온열 기구가 없었음) 뜨거운물도 잘 나오고 룸컨디션이 나쁘지않았습니다. 숙소 뒷편에 있는 산 ? 언덕? 넘어가면 멋진 노을을 볼 수 있는 선셋포인트도있어요 !! 시간이 남고, 노을이 정말 이쁠것같다 하는날 올라가보는거 강추!!!

We had bad weather, but that didn't impact our stay here. The people are so friendly and help out with everything. They even helped with cleaning our tuktuk and checking it when we had issues. We had great food here and the rooms are great too. Hot shower is a plus! And when we did get to see the view, it was amazing.

Le personnel est vraiment très sympathiques et à l’écoute de vos demandes et de bons conseils autour d Haputale ! Le Guesthouse est un peu éloigné du centre-ville mais vous êtes au calme absolu avec les plantations de thé à côté ! Des facilités de transport peuvent être demandées à des prix raisonnables. We had an unforgettable time at Nilowin Glenanore Guest House. Our room had breathtaking views, and Saman was incredibly helpful and an amazing chef—breakfasts were practically works of art! We also loved the cookery course, which we highly recommend. From the guest house, you can step straight onto a beautiful walk through the tea plantations—so peaceful. If you want to escape the town and relax in stunning surroundings, this is the place to stay!

Nilowin Glenanore is a beautiful, quiet spot away from the noise of the town. The views of the mountains and tea fields are spectacular, and the rooms are perfectly clean and comfortable The family here is wonderful—so helpful and genuine. We absolutely loved the food; every meal was fresh and authentic. Taking the cooking lesson with them was such a fun and unique way to learn about local culture.

We had an amazing experience at Nilowin guesthouse. The b&b itself is modest but nice and clean. It's a little far away from town, but they even arranged a welcome transfer for us and anyway it's a short distance and it's easy to find a tuk tuk. The views from the house are beautiful and breakfast was excellent but the highlight of our stay was meeting Saman and his family who are so friendly and helpful, plus we did a cooking class with them followed by a wonderful dinner. I recommend everyone to sign for the cooking class as it's extremely interesting and great fun. I promise it will become one of the highlights of your holiday. We cooked a few curries to go with rice and they were all fantastic. Explanations were great and overall it was a terrific experience. I must also add that Haputale is a lovely base if you enjoy hiking and again you can ask Saman to help you with all the arrangements. He kows a lot and is always happy to help. I suggest you spend at least a couple of nights if you want to enjoy the area and Saman's hospitality. But the longer the better.

Ottima posizione in mezzo alle colline di the, che permette anche di imboccare i camminamenti a piedi tipici della zona. Cooking class eccezionale, bravissimi nelle spiegazioni e attenti a farti partecipare attivamente a ciascun passaggio, con invio delle ricette in seguito, in modo da poterle riprodurre a casa. Indimenticabile! Grazie di tutto!

The gueathouse is absolutely amazing. The views from our room were panoramic, it felt like floating in the skye. The owner is super friendly, we had some nice falks. He also helped us organise a tour to Liptons Seat as well as recommened a beautiful hike. The restaurant which is also run by the owner seeves delicious dishes and you can take a cooking class if you wish which is absolutely recommended

Отель находится в прекрасном месте, напротив чайной плантации. Мы прибыли раньше назначенного времени, персонал пошел на встречу и сохранили наши вещи до заселения. Так же пытали помочь найти байк для путешествия. Персонал хороший, отзывчивый. Нам достался боковой номер, стена в ванной была в плесени, подушки так же были в разводах плесени, простыни в желтых разводах. Всю ночь ветер свистел и выл, спать было проблематично. Слышимость в соседних номерах 100%, слышно даже как храпят соседи. В раковине была горячая вода, в душе не было горячей воды, вайфай работал хорошо. Виды на рассвете из номера просто прекрасные, это большой плюс номера. Возможно именно наш номер был таким, судя по отзывам в других номера проводился ремонт. Рекомендую руководству отеля больше заботится о чистоте и отремонтировать боковой номер, чтобы в нем было приятно останавливаться гостям.

This was a proper guesthouse in that we felt extremely welcomed by the family. In addition to the fantastic food (highly recommend taking a cooking class there!) we also got great tips about hikes and activities in the surrounding area. The atmosphere of the little dining area is fantastic, and the rooms were clean and as expected:) the location is in a quiet hillside a bit outside of Haputale, which was great. The hosts will help you arrange anything you might need in terms of transportation etc. Would stay here again!

Это был отличный отдых. Рекомендую обязательно посетить этот отель если будете в горах. Возьмите люкс и не пожалеете, помимо отличного номера, вид открывается на горы и он потрясающий. Номер понорамный и полностью соответствует фото. Кровать удобная. Утром приходят обезьяны и поют птички, вечером спускаются облака. Хозяева очень гостеприимные, попробуйте вкусные завтраки и ужины, которые они готовят самостоятельно для гостей. Нам очень повезло что мы нашли этот отель!

Напор воды слабоват, но это если придираться.

The location was fantastic - the views from the balcony were exceptional and the setting in the tea plantation on the edge of the nature reserve was very peaceful. We were drawn to the guesthouse for the cooking school and wow it didn’t disappoint. The garden kitchen room where we ate breakfast, dinner and did our cooking school was stylish. Our breakfast was cooked in front of us - a delicious Asian breakfast made to your choice…or toast, eggs etc. The staff were all very friendly and Saman (the host) was very helpful. He gave us super tips for walking, visiting the market in the centre and arranged our tuk tuk trip to Lipton’s tea. We really couldn’t fault anything about our stay and would highly recommend it for a true Sri Lankan experience.

We spent 2 wonderful days at Nilowin Guesthouse. Nice large room with fantastic view. Our participation in the Cookingclass was a lovely and educational experience. Delicious food.
