Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Dicht bij de stad (Nelspruit) maar toch in het wild. Dat is het gevoel. De huisjes zijn net ruim genoeg. Achteraf gezien had ik beter met airco kunnen boeken. Heel huid is dat de opgevangen doen goed verzorgd worden in ruime verblijven. De begeleide tot was interessant. Het ontbijt is oké.
Omdat er best veel leeuwen zin is het 's nachts wel een hoop herrie door al het gebrul. Even is leuk maar de hele nacht gaat op den duur irriteren, ook als de hyena's en jakhalzen zich er mee gaan bemoeien.

Reviewed Sep 11, 2026We booked the premium room with the lions coming to our window, and having them roar at night and in the morning wow It was a once in a lifetime experience. The walk tour guide was very informative and seeing other Animals was very nice.
1. The people doing housekeeping don’t actually clean the room,they just wipe the floors and with dirty water without any detergents that was disappointing to say the least. 2. No microwave and iron in the room(especially a expensive room at that) 3. Their menu is limited, the bar is expensive

The fact that the room didn’t have a microwave, we couldn’t warm our food on the arrival day, it was better on Saturday cause we had dinner there.

Strenger Geruch im Zimmer, Badinstallationen mangelhaft, Zimmerfotos in Booking haben mit unserem Zimmer nicht zusammen gepasst. Wir waren in der Anlage auch essen, nicht empfehlenswert, ranziges Öl am Salat, sehr fettes Essen, Bedienung freundlich, reagiert aber nicht auf Wünsche.

Gate was locked i were to hoot and wait until I got security after 5 minutes. Yes I am guilty too as I drove late at night alone being a lady.

The walking and driving tour were very informative about the lots of rare species they were looking after. The animals are all rescued and can yes longer survive in the wild. The staff are doing a fantastic job at looking after them.

Reviewed Jul 19, 2026Stuff was very friendly, I travelled with my 6 year old as it was her birthday, she received a voucher for a kiddies meal, we got to see the park for free. The overall experience was amazing, the room was very huge, king and a single bed in my room . Just for information if you are driving a small car just be extra careful and the road before Pumbaa is not so great but I managed without any issues. Jay Jay was an amazing tour guide

The budget room is way simpler than the other options. Although the price is not so different. The bed and mattress need to be replaced.

Bedding was dirty on arrival. Could not sleep due to fridge noise which I had to switch off in the middle of the night. The neighbours in unit 9 were smoking weed in the corridor until 1am. A chemical smell in the bedding was not helpful.

The gravel road access was a bit rough, but understandable for the country-side access. Forward warning especially for those with smaller vehicles would be good.

We only had one hand towel and one bath towel for two guest. Luckily we took our own towels with. A microwave oven would be a very handy addition.
