Lions View Accommodation

The rooms are beautiful and cozy, clean, perfect aircon for hot MP weather. Having the lions right outside your room is incredible. To listen to them in the evening and early morning was beautiful. We are definitely going back. What an amazing experience. Staff was also ready and willing to help whenever we needed something fixed.

The breakfast could have a bit more variety. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

We arrived at night and heard the lions before we saw them, what an incredible experience! We also did the walking tour and learned so much more about the wild life and these amazing animals. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Rooms are perfect for 2. The obvious surroundings of roaring lions is a thrill! These guys are doing a great job with these wild animals.

The pillows had makeup marks on it. The duvet had an odd wet smell. After 10pm WE HAD NO WATER TILL THE NEXT MORNING. Once the water was back we had no hot water. We couldn’t shower or flush the toilet during the night. The beds one leg kept on falling out so the bed wasn’t balancing properly. When we booked in, there was cats all over the counter ( im allergic) also not very hygienic 😫

As always, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean and comfortable, the breakfast is very good and the food available at the restaurant is very nice. The lions and other animals are a bonus and the roaring of the lions makes this a very special place to stay. There is a new reptile area and other improvements to the experience make this a favorite place to stay over when visiting Nelspruit.

Le resto sur place car isolé même si la carte n'est pas extraordinaire car très limité Ça dépanne...Le petit déjeuner offert et correct...

Quand on voit tous ces animaux en cage Par ex : des léopards des Indes, on se dit que c'est plus près d'1 zoo que d'1 refuge On est septique

Everything inside is very neat and clean, lots of room to relax.

The lions being so close to the room and waking me up in the morning. Really friendly staff at reception and in the restaurant. Great food as well!

The place, the animals the people were amazing. For the price this is a bargain. The price is so affordable and even includes breakfast

There is nothing I did not like. What can be improved however is mats (carpets) on the sides of the bed for when climbing out and in of bed as well as small macrowaves in the units to warm leftovers from the restaurant

Es wird nicht zu viel versprochen. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber. Man kann schon bei der Ankunft Löwen und andere Tiere in ihren Gehegen sehen. Leider sind die Gehege relativ klein, aber die Tiere sind vermutlich seit Geburt nichts anderes gewöhnt. Man kann auch eine Ausfahrt in einen größeren Bereich unternehmen, in dem vermutlich noch mehr Löwen sind, die auch etwas mehr Platz haben, diese Fahrt haben wir aber nicht gemacht, da wir im nahegelegenen Kruger National Park lieber die Löwen in freier Natur bewundert haben. Das Frühstück war lecker und vielseitig mit Cornflakes, Milch, Saft und Kaffee in Buffetform, eigentlich gab es fast nichts daran auszusetzen. Außer: "Was hat Ihnen nicht gefallen?"

Der Weg geht etwa 1 km über eine unbefestigte Straße, die aufgrund der letzten Regenfälle im Moment ziemlich schlecht aussah, wenn man vorsichtig fährt geht es aber. Anmerkung zum Frühstück: Es gab einen kleinen Zettel zum Ausfüllen, auf dem man die Bestandteile ankreuzen konnte. (Eier, Speck, Wurst, Chicken-Liver, Tomaten, Brot) Dieses wurde dann dem Wunsch entsprechend serviert. Beim Toast konnte man nur die Sorte wählen, für eine dritte Scheibe hätten wir jedoch einen Aufpreis zahlen müssen, obwohl gerade das das günstigste am Frühstück gewesen wäre und ich z. B. schon auf die Tomate verzichtet hatte. Eine merkwürdige Vorgehensweise!

Pratique pour un stop sur la route entre le nord et le sud de kruger. Attention on avait pas compris mais il s’agit d’un sanctuaire / zoo donc les logements sont au milieu des différentes cages avec des animaux ( lions etc … ) mais n aime ou on aime pas. Personnel agréable, restauration sur place si vous ne souhaitez pas retourner à la ville.

What a traumatic night we had at Lions View Accomodation. We booked rooms 27 and 28, we had stopped over for a night's accomodation after a wedding. Nothing could have prepared us for a traumatic night we experienced. We were woken up in the middle of night with loud bangs on the door by the staff looking for a gun that was left by a previous guest. They woke us up naked and all, without even considering the time of the night it was. We were not even given proper time to dress up as they kept banging the door. To our shock the gun was found under the mattress. So for a few hours we slept with a gun under our mattress that we don't even know what criminal activities it was involved in..we didn't sleep a wink after that. What I fail to understand is, if the rooms were cleaned, how come housekeeping didn't pick this up. Worse, couldn't they wait till the morning to look for that gun, cause how do you sleep after that???? I'm utterly disappointed with the treatment we have received,  it was my 3rd time using this establishment and it was my last!!! To insult our privacy, they offer us a lousy game drive to make up for the inconvenience caused.  No amount of game drive can make up for waking up us abruptly to look for a gun.. this is unacceptable!! I was promised that management will be in contact with us to formally apologise for this disgrace of a service.. it's Monday 20:00 no one has bothered to contact me.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.The room was big clean and comfortable chairs to chill in.Waking up to the deep reverberating rumble of the lions grunt in the early morning was an absolute bonus. Really a good choice to stay over .

I had a nice stay loved the lions and farm atmosphere. 2 things I didn't like was the room smelled of smoke and all my clothes smelled of smoke too. The parking cover was really difficult to get in and out where more than one car parked. The space to reverse and turn too small
