Ubytování přímo na pláži, kde vládne klid a mír. Do města je to jen kousek. Večeři vám s láskou připraví paní domácí a nic vám tu nebude chybět.

We slept in the Big family room, with two big beds. It was bright, nice and clean. The terrace spot was perfect, for when our kids were sleeping at night, overlooking the palm trees. The family is so, so friendly, also taking good care of our curious kids, age 3 and 6.

Everything was good.

Нам очень понравилось расположение гестхауса, прямо на берегу океана, купаться можно было сразу около виллы. По нашей просьбе готовили завтраки из наисвежайших продуктов. Персонал приветливый и всегда помогал в решении вопросов, коих было немного) Вернемся сюда снова, нам очень понравилось. Да, действительно, немного мешает шум от дороги и от прибоя океана, но это не критично.

Owner & staff were lovely & very helpful. The beach is quiet & not crowded. Far from the busy noise of Bars & Cafe's.

Es war sehr sauber, der Wasserdruck war der Hammer (wie in Deutschland richtig kräftig) und die Gastfamilie war super freundlich und hat uns bei unserer Weiterreise geholfen. Sie machen faire Preise wenn man gefahren werden möchte. Sie sind immer da, aber nie aufdringlich. Direkt an der Unterkunft war ein Strand,der ziemlich leer war. Wirklich traumhaft.

Besonders abends war im Bad und teils im Zimmer eine Ameisen-Party. Uns hat es nicht gestört. Wer Angst vor Ameisen hat, würde hier jedoch Probleme mit haben.

The food, hospitality and location was the most ideal location. just away from Hikkaduwa but a 3 minute Tuktuk ride in which means the beaches and spots are less busy and peaceful spaces for yourself or family.

Wir hatten ein tolle Zeit im La-Vira. Lanka, die Dame des Hauses, ist einfach bezaubernd und toll! Sie hat sich so liebevoll und fürsorglich um uns gekümmert. Die Lage am Strand ist top! Die Beach Villa mit Blick aufs Meer einfach wunderschön! Der Strandanschnitt ist ruhig und breit, perfekt zum relaxen. Es gibt auch Holzliegen/Hütten von der Unterkunft am Strand. Unterkunft ist auf jedenfall zu empfehlen, wir hatten dort eine tolle Zeit! Vielen Dank.

Das Essen dauert ein bisschen, wenn man jedoch rechtzeitig im Voraus bestellt und bisschen Zeit mitbringt passt es :) wird alles frisch und lecker zubereitet

В принципе понравилось все, по шри ланкийским меркам было чисто, единственное в ванной комнате были муравьи, немного но были, в остальном все хорошо, но это все мелочи, главное это место, широкий песочный пляж, если выйти из виллы на пляж и пройти налево минут 15 можно дойти до рыбацкой бухты, там очень калоритно и идеальный пляж для купания и фоток(фото2),смотрите там где серфинг школа! В целом рекомендую, за стоимость жилья это отличный вариант

The villa’s location is its biggest attraction. Right outside the rooms, there is an amazing beach with a wide shoreline, where there aren’t many tourists. The views are stunning, the water is clear, and the beach is clean with no litter anywhere. The friendly hosts definitely made our stay much better. Their kindness and sincerity impress you every day of your stay. Wonderful people who will do everything for your comfort, help you, and give great advice. Also, a special thanks for the absolutely delicious breakfasts and dinners. The fried rice with seafood is the best here :) Lankaa (the hostess) has golden hands. They cook only fresh dishes—no frozen products or ready-made meals are used. What more could you need for happiness? The room has air conditioning. Nothing smells bad anywhere. Everything is neat and clean, with all the necessary amenities. You won’t find a better place. If you’re staying in Hikkaduwa, choose this villa. My best decision of the whole trip was spending time here.

The only downside is that you become so attached to this place and its hosts that leaving makes you feel a sense of longing. The place and the people really touch your heart, and you don’t want to go. I would have loved to spend even more time there, and I would definitely come back to them if I ever return to Sri Lanka!

Особенно порадовал формат питания: на территории виллы работает собственный мини-ресторан, где можно заказать именно то, что хочется на завтрак или ужин — никаких шведских столов или стандартных континентальных наборов. Всё свежее, вкусное и по очень приятным ценам, что особенно ценно в условиях отдыха. А теперь — о главном преимуществе: пляж начинается буквально у выхода из дома! Никаких дорог, переходов или поисков свободного места — всё рядом. На пляже есть как обычные лежаки, так и оригинальные «домики» с крышей, где можно укрыться от солнца и наслаждаться видом на океан в полной приватности. Атмосфера здесь по-настоящему спокойная и расслабляющая: вокруг почти нет людей, толкучки нет совсем — большинство лежаков свободны даже в высокий сезон. Вечерами слышны два звука: шум проезжающих машин с дороги за домом и мощный, успокаивающий ритм бушующего океана. Если вас это не смущает (а для многих, как и для меня, это даже плюс!), тогда смело заселяйтесь — вы получите идеальное сочетание уединения и комфорта. Рядом находится хороший супермаркет — всё необходимое всегда под рукой. А вдоль береговой линии расположены милые местные кафе, где можно попробовать как простую, так и более изысканную кухню. В номере есть всё необходимое: кондиционер, холодильник, фен, небольшая столовая утварь, чайник, есть сушилка для вещей на улице. Эта вилла отлично подойдёт как для семейных пар, ищущих тишину и уют, так и для молодёжи, ценящей свободу, близость к природе и атмосферу настоящего тропического отдыха. Обязательно вернусь сюда снова!

Очень красивые виды открываются на океан, но купаться не получится из-за сильных волн. Рядом полно кафешек, где можно вкусно поесть. В номере есть холодильник. Хозяин очень приветливый, помогал решать все возникающие вопросы, заказывал трансфер до аэропорта.

Близко к дороге, очень слышен шум от машин. Немного далековато до центра города, где есть пляжи для купания.

The location is great directly on the beach. The family is super nice and they really make no spicy food which is not the general case in Sri Lanka. They have a small slide and toys which was great for our little one. The bathroom is nice and there is hot water.

If the room next door is loud you can hear it as the sound insulation is not the best. The sound from the street is ok and dies down at night. The bed is short at 190cm so if you are 190cm you can expect your ankles will be off the bed and the bed is also loud when you turn.

This was one of our favorite stays in Sri Lanka . Clean nice room on the beach with sea view and access to a beautiful Sandy beach . Owners speak English very well and helps you with anything you need ! I wish we could stay longer there

La-Vira is a family run guesthouse right on a quiet section of the beach. The owners were super friendly and helpful. Sun beds with cushions right in front of the place. Lovely swims in strong surf and delicious breakfasts. Well definitely return one day!

My stay at La Vira Beach Villa was extraordinary. Staying right at the beach is always the best feeling to me. The rooms are clean, have air condition and just everything you need. Something that is especially nice compared to other bathrooms ins Sri Lanka is that there is a little wall between the shower and the rest of the bathroom so you don’t end up flooding the whole room like it often is the case in other places in Sri Lanka. The atmosphere in this guest house has been the most comforting and welcoming during my whole stay in this country(5 weeks in total). All of the family member speak perfect English which makes communication very easy. During my one week at La Vira Beach Villa I got a little cold and Lankika(the owner) just took so good care of me like she was my mum. If I would have to pick a place to be sick again it would definitely be there! There are sunbeds at the beach and I especially liked that it was bit further away from all the busy places closer to the Center of Hikkaduwa. The host also offers Breakfast and Dinner on request. But there are also plenty of cafes and restaurants close by. All in all it was the best place I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka. Can’t wait to come back!

Die Familie ist unglaublich freundlich. Wenn man lust hat, sich mit ihnen zu unterhalten, machen sie dies sehr gerne, sie haben jedoch eine aehr abgenehme Art, bei der man auch mit einem winken vorbeigehen darf, ohne jedesmal lange zu sprechen. Viraj konnte uns jedoch auch viel spannendes zur Kultur und Geschichte von Sri Lanka erzäheln, was wir sehr gerne angehört haben. Das Essen war auch super und wir durften uns auf dem Menü unser Morgenessen aussuchen und vorbestellen, welches auf die gewünschte Zeit und super lecker parat war. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und alles in allem war es einfach super und wir können es jedem empfehlen. Perfekt um am Strand rum zu liegen, einmal ins Surfen zu schnuppern oder auf dem nahe gelegenen See Kayak zu fahren.

Останавливаюсь второй год и в третий раз приеду сюда) Спасибо, Ланка🙏

Все прекрасно! Один момент- если плохо спите, выбирайте номер с видом на океан, в нем не слышно проезжающих машин. Но этот вопрос легко решат беруши, если вы в номере с боковым входом.

Una casa in cui sono state ricavate delle camere per i turisti. Le camere rispecchiano le foto, ma in generale la struttura risulta un po' trasandata. Molto gentile il proprietario e disponibile. Comodo l'accesso diretto alla spiaggia dove godersi dei momenti di tranquillità. Sicuramente adatto a viaggiatori con un po' di spirito di adattamento e alla ricerca di una soluzione a prezzi decisamente contenuti, ma allo stesso tempo accogliente.

Struttura un po' trasandata nelle parti comuni che meriterebbe un po' di attenzioni in più. Non credo che la parola "villa" sia adatta a descrivere questa struttura e crea aspettative sbagliate.

Sehr guter und freundlicher Service wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Das Essen war sehr lecker und preiswert! Wir kamen morgen um kurz vor 6 Uhr an und das war kein Problem, man hat komplett flexibel darauf reagiert. Für die Ab- und Weiterreise wurde uns zudem ein Fahrer organisiert.

Excellent value for money as expected for what we paid. Indika went out of his way to make our stay perfect he looked after us very well , nothing was a problem . We chose to have breakfast there everyday which was very enjoyable. Varaj and wife very friendly. Location excellent, very quiet area just outside the main resort .

We didn’t have anywhere to put our clothes, a small wardrobe and drawers would have been helpful. Not the fault of the property but at times there was lots of dog poop on the beach.

Die Lösung, das Dach über dem Restaurant mit Plastikplane abzudecken, ist nicht so schön. Da würde es sich sicher lohnen, einmal zu investieren, und es schön zu machen!

Die Lage direkt am Meer. Die Liegen am Sandstrand. Konstant warmes Wasser mit gutem Wasserdruck. Das wars dann auch schon...

Die Bilder in booking sind nicht realistisch. Das ganze Anwesen, das Gebäude, die überdachte Terrasse, alles ist total heruntergekommen. Überall liegt Schrott rum, kaputte Liegen, unnützes Zeug. Vom Dach der Veranda wehen Fetzen von Plastikplanen im Wind. Am sehr langen Strandabschnitt ist dies das ungepflegteste Anwesen. Nichts ist nett gemacht oder einladend. In anderen Bars sind Tischdecken, Blumen, auch mal Kerzen, ein Schild, ne Fahne. Hier Fehlanzeige. Darum sitzt hier auch nie jemand. Eine Tasse Kaffee zum Frühstück kostet 850 Rupien; wie man da ein ganzes Frühstück für 4 Dollar zusammenbekommen soll, bleibt das Geheimnis des Betreibers. Die Gebäudeteile sind absolut hellhörig, man hört jedes Wort von überall und auch sonst sämtliche Geräusche. Um halb sechs morgens ist die Nacht vorbei, da beginnt der Mitarbeiter mit lauter Morgenhygiene, Gesprächen, Kehren usw. Die Strasse ist unerträglich laut. Auf gar keinen Fall ist dieses Guesthouse zu empfehlen.

Logement très bien placé sur une plage quasi déserte , loin de l'agitation d'Hikkaduwa. Indika, notre hôte est attentif et disponible il nous accueille avec un petit rafraîchissement , et fait en sorte que nous passions un agréable séjour. La chambre est confortable et la vue sympa. Il est très plaisant de se balader le matin ou le soir sur cette grande plage.

Le logement est un peu près de la route mais finalement le bruit des vagues masque celui de la route donc très gérable.

Lovely beach but couldn’t swim due to size of waves & currents.

Location was amazing. Right on the beach, what more can you want? The rooms are basic but clean and a good size. Breakfast is available if you want it otherwise there are plenty of restaurants along the beachfront.

The rooms at the back of the property are right by the main road A2, however the noise isn’t that noticeable until about 5:30am.

Super location at the vide, peaceful beach with sunbeds. The owners and the staff - Indika were very nice and helpful. Very good breakfast - one of the best we had in Sri Lanka. It was a relaxing stay, we will definitely come back.

Pobyt w tym obiekcie był absolutnie fantastyczny! Pokój był nieskazitelnie czysty, podobnie jak całe otoczenie – widać, że personel dba o każdy szczegół. Czystość na najwyższym poziomie sprawiała, że czuliśmy się tu naprawdę komfortowo. Dodatkowym atutem jest doskonała lokalizacja – obiekt położony jest tuż przy plaży, która była niemal prywatna, z bardzo małą liczbą turystów. Do dyspozycji gości były wygodne leżaki, dzięki czemu mogliśmy w pełni cieszyć się wypoczynkiem nad morzem. Personel był niezwykle miły i pomocny, zawsze służył radą i troszczył się o gości. To miejsce idealne na spokojny, relaksujący urlop – na pewno tu wrócimy!

Das Frühstück war sehr gut und der Ausblick aufs Meer traumhaft. Zudem konnte man kostenfrei die Sonnenbetten nutzen.

Badezimmer war leider voller Schimmel und die Handtücher haben unangenehm gerochen.

Ein kleine und feine Anlage. Das Frühstück konnte man sich laut Karte auswählen. Entweder einheimisch oder amerikanisch. War beides lecker und viel. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Strand mit bereitgestellten Liegen. Für das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war alles ok.

Buona colazione, anche se un po' cara, e bellissima vista sulla spiaggia.

Purtroppo oltre che trovarsi davanti all oceano, dietro ci passa la strada principale che è veramente tanto rumorosa e sovrasta il suono meraviglioso delle onde.. Tante zanzare in camera e nessuna zanzariera, bagno pieno di muffa e sporco , tende con macchie, asciugamani con macchie.. Noi viaggiando con zaino in spalla e dovendo risparmiare siamo abituati a correre questi rischi (infatti ci portiamo sempre dietro un nostro asciugamano e le federe) e quindi abbiamo deciso di rimanere, ma mi dispiace molto non posso consigliare questo alloggio. Consiglio all host di dare una sistemata ai bagni, di prendere dei corredi di asciugamani lenzuola e tende nuovi e soprattutto di mettere una zanzariera intorno al letto..! allorala pulizia e la vista meravigliosa farebbero pesare meno i rumori della strada di cui non ha colpe.

Sauberes kleines Hotel in bester Lage direkt am wunderschönen ruhigen Sandstrand! Schönes Zimmer mit Meerblick und überdachter Terrasse! Das Essen im dazugehörigen Restaurant war ausgezeichnet! Indika ist die gute Seele des Hauses hier und kümmert sich einfach um alles! Er ist ein herzlicher, zuvorkommender, hilfsbereiter Mensch, und auch ein ausgezeichneter.Koch, der alles macht, dass man sich wohl fühlt! Auch der Besitzer ist sehr angenehm! Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld lief problemlos! Wir können die La-Vira Beach Villa zu 100% empfehlen!! Danke für alles!!!! Bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt in Sri Lanka sehen wir uns bestimmt wieder!

Die Lage an einem sehr schönen Strand ist super! Das Essen dort sehr lecker.

Die Zimmer sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen, keine Terrasse, wo man abends draußen sitzen konnte! Das Zimmer riecht sehr muffig

Litet och gulligt boende direkt på stranden. Läget är lugnt och vid ev fin del av stranden. Bokade tre rum, rummet med sjöutsikt absolut bäst. Jätte gullig och vänlig personal. Bra frukost och gör mat om man önskar. Fina strandsängar med halm tak. Fint inrett. Stora fönster i det främre rummet, egen terrass i det främre rummet.

Lite bullrig trafik. Ena rummet bara fläkt. Enkel standard. Kanske inte helt rent.

Жилье находится в конце Наригама бич, вдали от шумных ресторанов. До них идти минут 15-20 по пляжу. Пляж классный, широкая береговая линия, но есть волны, нужно быть осторожнее из за обратных течений. Приятный владелец, готовил нам вкусные завтраки. Считаю, что цена соответствует качеству.

Хотелось бы более свежее белье и полотенца, добавить шампунь и гель для душа.

Place was really quite and if you looking for some place where you can reach the main town easy and also stay calm and peaceful environment La-Vira is the best place . All the staff members and the owner was friendly and easy to communicate.

Siisti huone,hyvä ilmastointi. Mukava henkilökunta ja hyvä aamiainen ja snacksi joka syötiin. Sijainti hiukan syrjässä kaupungin hulinasta,mutta tuktukilla pääsee,tai rantaa pitkin.

Hieman huono äänieristys ,ajoittain hiukan liikenteen ääniä kuului huoneeseen,mutta ei häirinnyt yöllä hyvää nukkujaa.

The room was clean and modern, I liked it very much. It was right on the beach at the quiet end. The food I ate there was tasty, supermarket and a few restaurants close by, you will need to take a long walk or short tuk tuk ride for more variety

Pillows were uncomfortable and the road noise kept me awake, ear plugs helped. It was difficult to know when it was okay to order food or drink, would be better if menus were on the tables.

Our stay at this beach house was absolutely perfect. The accommodation was comfortable, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The hosts were incredibly sweet and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The food was outstanding—from the flavorful curry to the hearty breakfast, and the best omelet we've ever had! Thank you so much for your warmth and effort to make our stay so memorable. We truly felt at home and can’t wait to return!

Jättetrevlig personal. Fantastiskt läge vid ett lugnt läge på stranden. Vi hade så sköna dagar på La-Vira Beach Villa, där vi direkt kunde gå upp på morgonen och ta ett morgondopp. En av kvällarna var det ett otroligt regn och åskväder som drog förbi där vi satt på serveringen och njöt av att bara sitta och titta på.

The location, service, and cleanliness stood out. The room was basic with all necessary amenities, including a refrigirator, kettle, and some tea bags, etc. The owner, Viraj, always went out of the way to help us when support was needed. La Vira made the vacation a memorable one.

I think acceptance of digital payments

Wir hatten ein tolles Zimmer, es war sehr sauber und wurde während des Aufenthalts auch gereinigt. Es gab kostenlose Sunbeds am Strand. Wir hatten fast jeden Tag Sri Lankan Breakfast, das frisch zubereitet wurde. Super lecker und für einen guten Preis! Die Mitarbeiter waren super nett und bemüht. Wir haben uns wohlgefuehlt und letztendlich unseren Aufenthalt auch verlängert. Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und für uns mit die beste Unterkunft in 7 Wochen Sri Lanka.

We had such a lovely stay at La-Vira. It's set on a really quiet a peaceful stretch of beach around 2k south of the main Hikkaduwa strip. There were only a handful of other people on the beach so it felt really special and calm (exactly what we had wanted) There are 4 or 5 restaurants at either side of La Vira for food. We'd particularly recommend BlackRock. Decent prices, big portions and friendly owners. Our room faced the beach and it was amazing to walk straight out onto the beach and into the sea for a morning swim. Perfect for watching sun set too. We were only there 2 nights and we wish we had booked and stayed for longer. Would love to come back!
