The room decoration looked a bit outdated; the bathroom could be upgraded slightly. We tried to take a rest during the day, but we were often disturbed by people (staff or other guests) talking loudly next to the room.

Our expectations after reading about the hotel was high, but was not fulfilled. Location for sure perfect but our room was unfortunately hidden in the middle of the facility. Compared to other options in South Africa it was pricy. Not the best breakfast.

Mooie tuin met veel groen, en dat in de stad! Prima ontbijt. Goede tip voor restaurant in de buurt, waar je lopend naartoe kunt.
Het aanrechtblok voegt weinig toe, want er staat niets in en is niet bruikbaar voor zelf-catering.

Chris and his team were incredibly welcoming, offering great local tips and going out of their way to ensure we could get an early start to reach the border post on time. And the view of the mountains from our room was absolutely stunning!

Whilst comfortable, clean and well appointed, it was what one would expect so I am not convinced it was worth, what I thought was a premium charge.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2025Herzlicher Empfang und tolles Frühstück mit Wahlmöglichkeiten. Klimaanlage lässt sich als Heizung nutzen. Idealer Ausganspunkt für die Besichtigung des Goegap Nature Reserve- welch eine Blütenpracht! Aber besonders schön ist die Insel mit den wunderschönen Kokerbooms!
