Blue Diamond Lodge

Dissapointed

The property advertises an open bar and restaurant. Just not true. We downgraded our room because the rooms were close to the only parking on the premises

I just feel that the breakfast was overpriced with reference to other guest houses we stayed at during our tour

Atmosphere , scenery was so beautiful. Staff was very friendly

Nothing

Delicious breakfast made by very friendly staff.

They must have specified that the mini bar is not on the house.

The place itself and the views

Nothing

It is clean

The water was closed early in the morning we could not take a shower.

Yes

Nothing

Breakfast was not available at 07.00am as advised by the reception = staff kindly provided a quick breakfast , no cooked available.

See above regarding breakfast. Shower in room 5 needs replacing as shower floor is broken.

Everything and more. We didn’t had time to enjoy the pool because of our busy schedule but we will definitely make some time for that next time. The staff were very friendly and the cold aircon was perfect for the weather.

the rooms bathroom facilities was poor the toilet was stained thats not appealing , as well as the toilet paper holder was not working & was rusted , the kettle was stained on the inside, the bedding did not smell fresh nor did the towels & I had a 2 night stay & the towels where not taken to the laundry on day 1 instead folded & kept to be used again. Thats definetly not hygienic...

Spacious room

Room at back of property. We had to carry our suitcases very far

We could stay extra time after the check out. The bed and beding was comfortable.

Staff was very pleasant, and helpful. Room was great. WIFI was good. Safe and secure. Cleanliness was upper class. Room was nice and warm while it was cold outside.

Pool and braai area very nice

Kitchenette too little space Duvet bit too heavy for summer /hot days

Good location in the town of Springbok. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

The breakfast was below expectations with limited variety of cereals, bread, cheese and fruit. Diner was expensive with only one dish offered, with no other options to choose from.

We stayed one night enroute to Cape Town. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool after a long day in the car. The bed linen was clean and comfortable and the staff helpful and friendly. Private parking.

The room and bathroom was not clean. The TV remote was missing a button. The aircon works, but is old and very noisy. The property is old and run down and needs love and attention. A good clean will already make a big difference. In its current state it is not 4 star accomodation.

Spacious and nice area

Could be cleaner

We enjoyed a very comfortable stay with pool facilities right in front of our room.

Getting to and from the parking area to your room is a bit of a problem with your luggage. A bit more attention can be given to the pool area by cleaning up after older guests.

The rooms were clean, but the gardens were not looked after.

Everything was clean and comfortable

The rooms are far from the parking facilities. No porters. Restaurant and bar closed.

The fact that I've stayed there many times before. The beds and bedding were good

The place needs an upgrade. Facilities are looking worn down

Huge bed and comfortable space

Clean rooms, friendly staff

Property needs a bit of maintenance

Rooms very spacious, clean & beds were comfortable. General well maintained.

Just assumed breakfast was included

It looked nice and the staff was friendly and helpful

The fact that the bar and restaurant was closed. We were tired wanted just to relax as we were in transit from Whk to Cape Town. Had to go somewhere else for dinner.

The room was neat and comfortable

None

Amazing location, tonnes of picture locations, the kids enjoyed the animals

Beautiful property.

The location is quite good. We did not have breakfast. I must however compliment the housekeeping lady because she was very friendly.

I expected more from a resort rated as a 4-star. The chairs and table outside our room (garden view) were very old and dirty. The sitting area in the garden where we sat was full of bird droppings and the grass was long.

Great breakfast, friendly staff, loved Kazo, the dog. The lamb knuckle for dinner was a treat too.

Small point for the owners, the background music in the restaurant could do with an upgrade.

Freundlichkeit des Personales

Ambiance, very friendly and helpful staff.

The food in the restaurant - neither the dinner nor the breakfast.

Cleanliness,Location and spacious.

The couch in room 2, should be refurbished.

Location excellent. The flowers and quiver trees on the little hill close by. The view from the lodge.

Potholed streets.

Quiet, safe and peaceful. Friendly staff, clean and big comfortable room.

Properly working aircon to be used to heat the room as it is winter

Friendly Staff, cleanliness,location,facilities.

The couch in room 2, should be refurbished, very uncomfortable.

Local tranquilo, aconchegante, bonito e organizado.

The scenary

No restaurant or bar as advertised

They showed real care for my family. We came in the evening and the receptionist assisted us in finding a place to have dinner and her recommendation did not dissapoint. We were struggling with our SA sims and she assisted us with that as well.

Views are beautiful within the establishment especially at night.

Long walking distance from vehicle so difficult with luggage. Breakfast is way too expensive when you don't eat much. Beds are just a bit small and short. Would not recommend this place as wheelchair friendly at all. Strong cat urine smell evident especially at night.

Extremely child friendly which is a super plus when travelling with toddlers! Comfortable and spacious room and bed...was very nice.

Was convenient with secure parking inside.

The bathrooms could go either way a bit of an update.

Fantastic!

All perfect!

HAD A GREAT TAKE AWAY BREAKFAST, AS WE WEREONTHE ROAD EARLY

ALL GOOD

The garden especially the mountain part was owesome out of this world

Absolutely nothing everything was great
