The place is clean, friendly staff though they only speak Afrikaans which makes it hard to communicate.

Hot water issue in the bathroom, a very small bathroom sink that gives hot water only, no wadrobe. The noise from the boarding house near the guesthouse1

Next to a student accomodation so the noise is uncomfortable and electrical ran out during the night and I had to sleep in the dark and couldn’t get hold of the owner. The curtains are light so the bright light from outside is disturbing also

The tv is not working. (Can't even switch on). I called the owners and after 2 hours, they are still missing in action. I then asked the lady on the premises and she could not figure out what the problem was either. Apparently guests also have to have their own DSTV and Netflix accounts in order to watch tv. This is ABSOLUTELY NOT communicated anywhere, nor did anyone even inform me about this. The rooms have a funny smell and you have to spray airfreshner in order to be inside. The neighbours are extremely noizy and partying loud. The outside lights are hanging from the power cables. This is a huge safety risk!! This Guesthouse is absolutely NOT worth the price they charge!!!! (At most R200)

The place was super clean,it is soooo beautiful With white linens and bedding….it honestly exceeded my expectations Checking in was sooo easy,it was as if they were expecting me.

The room was neat. All the basics in the room was provided.

On arrival, they were busy painting on the outside within 2-3 metres of the rooms. A cleaner asked if I was booked in. Showed them the email of my booking and payment as they did not have my name on any documentation regarding my stay. Had to fill in my own details in the receipt book. I was very concerned about the area this guesthouse was in. Within moving into my room, the foreman scolded a worker in a filthy, rude language within 3 metres of my entrance. The first evening I was woken up at about 3h00 in the early morning with about 10 people shouting, laughing, swearing... this carried on to the early hours of the morning and stopped at about 6:30.I was told the next morning that there was a student residence next door. The same happened again the next evening... with loud music being played. On the Friday I asked the old lady (the cleaner) the directions to a school in the area. The school is less than 800 metres from my acommodation... I was told not walk there because it is not safe in the area. I should also not go for a walk in the area. The Friday night... my second night .. I was the only one booked in. A gentleman that works for the owner in construction, slept in the main house that evening and said I could call him (go out of my room to the main house and knoxk) if I needed anything. On my first morning up at about 06:40.. there was no water or electricity. At 08:00 I road to the shop to buy bottled water. On returning the cleaning lady told me that the electricity was on again.. the meters for the water and electricity had been used up, but they had bought new units for the meters. I was very concerned about my safety as the sliding door.. entrance to the room.. had no proctective door on the front inside... ( like a trellidoor) . Saturday morning I decided to leave although I had payed up to the Sunday. I never saw the owner once... was never welcomed. I will encourage people not do any bookings on Booking. Com.

●We struggled to lock our room from outside and ended up calling the security to come and assist us locking the door. ●The power went off on morning hours and water also stopped running around that time.

The location is close to the big hole, perfect for a one-night stay.

The aircon in one of our rooms did not work and were in for repairs. The prepaid electricity ran out therefore we did not have power for a while.

The Aircon wasn't working and it was so hot. Middle bedroom only has one windows (toilet). It makes the room too dark and unbearable if you claustrophobic, no form of light in the room.

My normal go to place whenEver i am in Kimberley, but this time wasnt just nice... Lil dissapointed but for the other times will let it slide. .they are normally great and everything is good

Improve administration, proper clothing cabinet, hangers and basin in a family room. Iron not easily accessible.

The fact that we didn’t have a key to the gate! Apparently it got lost and we had to suffer the consequences of others. 🙄the owner didn’t even care!

Previously I was there area had no water but Jojo in place, I called for assistance and was told water supply from Jojo is faulty and owner promised to come assist. I waited for hours was late even for work.i had to vacate without bathing. Second time I was there I struggled to get tV working, security guy also struggled, I called the owner again for assistance and he promised to come which he never did again, while waiting power went down only in our room.we sat in the dark while waiting for the security guy struggle loading a coupon. Service here is the ultimate downfall of the business, as for the owner who lies and don't treat clients with respect is a total shame and disappointment. Im never coming back here

Unfortunately it's location has a negative effect as their are students all around. The noise levels were very bad as well as the behaviour of the students who live next door.

The parking facility was undercover, vehicle out the sun.

The area isn't a nice neighborhood, tavern close by and people sitting on the road consuming alcohol. The neighbour's are student accommodation, loud music and noise till morning hours, impossible to sleep, wifi works intermittent at extremely low speeds. Shower wasn't cleaned, got to exit room and walk through the main extrance if need to walk to the kitchen.
