The cleanliness, garden and security personnel Most of the receptionists and waitress+waiters very friendly
My welcoming was bad when the receptionist asked me if I am sure that I booked with them Their executive room with shower only, not spacious without cupboard Limited tv channels Sabc, etv and meet No microwave to warm up my left overs
Location is ideal as well as safe and secure. Staff members are friendly and efficient.
Breakfast was not included.
Service is good and fast
The staff on the front desk were friendly, compactionat. The menu dinner was delicious but I was disappointed in the morning that there were no scrambled eggs and no one in the kitchen was paying attention. Aside from that, I had a pleasant stay. I love the decor of the place. I wish I could have taken pictures there. The waiters were also polite and kind especially Tsepo or Tsepang. He would come to my table and ask if I was still okay. Aside from Him all the staff were kind and polite.
Nothing much. I wish there were smoking areas or rooms to accommodate smoking Peop you.
Quite, good condition place clean and your kindly, patient staff 100%

Helpful staff and wonderful breakfast
The restaurant and room service menu is uninspired
The garden and views. Easy access to the big hole.

Just stunning
The collection of Beer was very minimal
Ideally located across the road from the Big Hole.
Great setting, high quality of accomodation
We weren't asked if we wanted help with our luggage on arrival or departure. Things not available on the menu after placing our order.
I loved the friendly staff and their helpfulness. And the breakfast was superb.
The limited amenities in the rooms. I was a bit dissapointed.
The bed was super comfortable.
The restaurant's service was not good.
Edificio histórico, al lado del Big Hole. Ideal como parada si se cruza el país por carretera como era nuestro caso. Las habitaciones geniales
El desayuno a 250 rand, un absoluto desastre. Todo frío y no estaba rico.
The team went out of their way to arrange my early check-in, meals were simply scrumptious, combined with the Kimberley-history-aligned interior and exterior. What an experience!
Great location, comfortable bed an good food. Will definitely stay there again when we visit Kimberley in future.
Restaurant service was a bit on the slow side, but staff were friendly and quality of the food made up for the wait.
Super friendly and helpful staff, and a great location in Kimberley.
The restaurant could expand its lunch menu a bit - also for vegetarians.
Everything was as I expected - location, room, meals

This is an oasis in a desert of squalor that Kimberley has become. It is also the perfect base to explore the Big Hole.
I just wish it was a little more affordable. Kimberley itself is in disrepair and it was a grudge purchase to spend more than in parts of the country that are not going backwards.
Cleanliness, friendly. All staff were professional and friendly. Vanessa was great. Enjoyed the Fifa snacks at the bar. Rooms were clean, nice view.
Food was a bit pricey.
Everything was superb
The cost per day
Very excellent and helpful staff. Very quick and responding, they made my stay very comfortable.

Great hotel wonderful staff. Breakfast was great
Dinner food wasnt that good but good enough
1. At this price point (R3000 per night) I expect to have a gown available in the room. I arrived late in the evening and needed to take a hot shower, only to be told that the hotel doesn’t provide gowns. So I had to either dress up again or use my towel while in the room. It’s ridiculous, I’ve been to cheaper hotels that provide gowns. 2. We knew that we would have a very early morning the next day so we made prior arrangements by calling the hotel even before we checked in and requested that our breakfast be packed and ready by 6am, we would just pick it up and go. We confirmed what food we wanted over the phone and The staff member confirmed everything was in order. When we eventually arrived and checked in later that evening, we again asked reception if our arrangement for the next morning was in order and yet again we got confirmation. 6Am the next morning we get to reception and our food is not there. Nobody knows where it is, a bag of food comes out and it’s not ours. Then we were told to wait while they tried to figure out where our food was. After about 10 minutes I had to just tell them to forget everything because we were out of time and we left without the food. The reason we made the prior arrangement was because we knew we would not have time to wait in the morning, so all that waiting was just defeating the purpose. This was a really disappointing experience.
Everything
We liked everything.
Keep up the good work..
GPS did not take us to the actual front gate.
Good and safe location
The hotel is BEAUTIFUL, clean and the staff is very friendly.
The service at the restaurant was poor. Food and drinks took very long to be served. Maybe the kitchen was understaffed but the overall experience was just frustrating. Unfortunate as the hotel was really beautiful and well located.
The reception staff in general
My friend got food poisoning and ended ulninbthe hospital There were snacks at the bar
Nice,clean and Quiet

Our buffet breakfast was superb and the service was excellent.
Staff were fantastic and the rooms were very nice. I found it a bit expensive for one night. I have no problem paying for good food but found R38 for a small can of coke for my grandkids a bit steep. I have stayed in this hotel every time I come through from Cape Town to Jhb and back. Prices have changed substantially since my last trip.
Pricing was high otherwise everything was great. Will look for something a little more reasonably priced R3500 for grand parents and two grand children per night🫣
Location - walking distance to The Big Hole, breakfast, kind staff, decoration with plenty of historical photos, secure parking,
Cold croissants at breakfast.
Friendly staff.
There was no fish when room service lunch was ordered.
Location and beauty
No shower caps provided in the bathroom
everything was well
THERE WAS NO DSTV CHANELLES
Location was great and the hotel is beautiful
The staff and they have a very bad attitude towards anyone doing room charges. Demanding you pre-pay (not a typical credit card hotel authorization); and then refuse to refund any unused pre-paid credit. We are out $200 because they refuse to refund us. This was not disclosed when the pre-payment was taken.
Stuff Friendly Beautiful
Cockroaches In the bathrooms and by the fridge side Very uncomfortable…but the room was clean just Cokroaches 🙆🏼♀️🙆🏼♀️🙆🏼♀️
Reception looked great
Breakfast not really adequate
Great location and very neat outside of rooms Food was good
Staff service in restaurant and bar was disappointing. I paid extra for early check in and got a much worse room than other tenants who booked the same type of room and got their room earlier than normal.
Everything was just perfect and I will stay there anytime again
Staff was friendly and helpful
The fridge was too loud, we had to switch if off at night.
Good location.Children enjoyed the pool.Comfortable beds
I think at the price bfast should be included
Great old looking hotel with modern amenities
Location not the best close to the big hole but for guests that don't have a vehicle not many place to walk to
The staff were very friendly. The hotel has loads of characters and is located perfectly next to the Big Hole and it's attractions.
Room was clean and nice with good aircon and TV. The service staff was exceptional and fast when I asked for help with a TV remote that didn't work. The hotel property security was tight and good as they check carefully the transport car that ferried me to the hotel.
Would have been great if there is an elevator. I always prefer to stay on higher floors. But glad to have the bellhop ready and keen to assist me in getting my luggage to the second floor.
Thabo , one of the reception very friendly and on his game.

Brilliant hotel
Personel and Hotel cleanliness was 👌👍👏👏
I would like to thank the lady at reception Faith for her assistance ,kindness & good client service . She treated us with such respect and that gave us such peace as clients . I would encourage the company to appreciate such a worker . She represents your company well.
Room......it was very clean. I did not enjoy my tea......the milk you are using does not taste nice, and it is not the first time I complain about the kind of milk you are using.......Pls try to improve on that one.
I like the history pictures on the wall
Everything was fine
It’s centrally locally
Breakfast was excellent, great variety Location next to the "Big Hole". Great Room was very clean and spacious
The location is excellent, and the hotel has really nice clean, cool rooms.
The hotel is ideally located adjacent to The Big Hole in Kimberley, and is well maintained. The rooms are clean and offer a television, aircon and coffee station - everything you need for a quick stay over. The staff are very friendly and willing to assist.
I did not dislike anything about this hotel.
Location
Parking was taken by the Spur customers
The view of the hole from the room we stayed in
White guests are treated with high regard than black guests. We sat outside where there was smoking ash trays on the table and we smoked. But because white guests complained we were told to move to the deck, we were told about rules. But the boards on the gate only mentioned beverages, the no smoking sign was not even placed.
Good service from a protea hotel as expected. the staff at check in and the restaurant were super helpful. the hotel is located in close proximity to the Big hole, which was the sole reason for our overnight here.
The hotel needs a makeover as it seems aged, the rooms were a bit stuffy. the kitchen and bar are pricey.
Every think
View of the room.
Location, standard of facility.
Attention to detail of staff. Need to be better trained on their processes and attending to customers.
Very good location. Walking distance from the Big Whole. Staff at every friendly.
