the location is 2-3 mins to the beach, the staff makes you feel warm & welcome immediately. Rooms are adequate & super clean - they cleaned everyday and we were always provided with fresh sheets. also a SUPER top thing, is the restaurant next door: The wave. The chef is absolutely class & with some restrictions we had x he really followed them on point! the food was part of this incredible time for sure, especially after a full day of sun and snorkeling :)

These are incredible people on an incredible island. They made my vacation fabulous. Thank you very much to Furuty and all the guys. Incredible fabulous locations nearby. Interesting excursions. They met me with flowers and came out to see me off. It was so nice. The island itself is very beautiful. I walked around it every day.I will be very happy to return to them again. good breakfasts.good cleaning in the rooms.these are people who care about their guests.

There was no hot water in my room.but for me it wasn't a problem, the water was warm in the ocean

The location was excellent, so close to the beach. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, happy to sort out any problems and the room was clean and comfortable with a modern bathroom/wet room

une odeur de white spirit insupportable dans la chambre . Un directeur qui daigne enfin se déplacer après une heure d'attente .Ne cherche pas à proposer a faire la moindre solution suite au problème rencontré .Promet d'envoyer la facture mais ne l'a pas fait et ne le fera jamais malgré la relance du service client de Booking ! En fait ce qui comptait c’était préparer la nouvelle saison pour faire de l'argent ! Environnement très sale ,plage pourvue de nombreux déchets et surtout très petite! un refus d' indemnisation .Fuyez cet endroit ,il n'y a rien d’intéressant a faire et a voir ! si a votre arrivée ,on va vite vous proposer le catalogue des excursions pour faire de l'argent .Si vous souhaitez un bon conseil ,dirigez vous a Dhangheti .Vous ne serez pas déçus car plage propre et très grande ( j'y ai séjourné une semaine auparavant )!

Unser Aufenthalt im Vilu Thari Inn hat uns rundum begeistert. Das Zimmer war klimatisiert, sauber und mit stabilem WLAN ausgestattet. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das überaus freundliche und aufmerksame Personal: Ausflüge wurden spontan organisiert und ganz auf unsere Wünsche abgestimmt. Ob ein traumhaftes Picknick auf einer einsamen Insel oder ein ausgedehnter Schnorchelausflug – es war stets perfekt vorbereitet, mit genügend Zeit und Verpflegung. Unser Guide hat tolle Bilder und Videos für uns gemacht, sodass wir komplett abschalten konnten. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat uns sehr positiv überrascht. Mahibadhoo selbst bietet genügend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, leckere Restaurants und ein wunderschönes Riff rund um die Insel.

Der Kühlschrank im Zimmer hat nicht funktioniert.

Absolutně úžasné.Chovali se k nám jako k rodině.Všichni kluci byli úžasní i Upul,, který se staral o úklid. Každý den nám doplnili pitnou vodu Měli jsme snídani i večeři a jídlo bylo neskutečně dobré.Každá večeře měla 3 chody,spousta ryb, mořské plody.I když jsme zašli na oběd, vždy to bylo skvělé.Velké díky. Ubytování je kousek od bikiny beach. V ubytování je možnost si zdarma půjčit potřeby na šnorchlování. Využili jsme 2 výlety a oba byli skvělé. Moc všem děkuji za celou svoji rodinu.Máme zážitky na celý život.

Líbilo se mi udržování čistoty pokoje každý třetí den úklid a výměna ručníků.

Nous avons passé une nuit agréable. L'hôtel est bien situé, à proximité d'un restaurant, ce qui est très pratique. Tout s'est très bien passé : l'accueil a été chaleureux, et nous avons apprécié les conseils donnés. Merci pour ce bon moment !

This was such a treat! I would give 11 out of 10 if I could. When we arrived to Mahibadhoo, we were greeted by entire Mohamed´s family, it was quite touching, kids gave us flowers and we felt very welcomed. The house is very well maintained, rooms are comfortable and nice. But the main jewel were the people that were taking care of us! They made our vacation very special and to be remembered. Our guide, Ayya, took us around island and provided us with understanding of life on the island. His sister prepared for us traditional food to taste. He also took us snorkeling around the island. We purchased an adventure trip to go swimming with shark, what a special event. Kids loved it! And the true pleasure was the food: we have 3 people preparing the food and it was the most delicious ever. Nicely decorated with great servis and always a big smile. When we were leaving, the guys took us to the port and waved us off. What a great experience. If you can, take the time to visit this place, it has a quality of resort with family environment and very personal touch. I can highly recommend for families, beach is nearby and the entire island is very peaceful and friendly.

The only thing we did not like was that we had to leave.

We didn't get the rooms we booked. We booked the two luxury rooms three months in advance and got separate accommodation about a 5-minute walk from the hotel with two standard rooms. The rooms were an absolute downgrade. As compensation, they offered us a free day trip. The excursions we were able to choose were the cheapest and not the ones we wanted. The food was miserable. On the first day we got chicken cooked in “western style” and asked about local food and fish. Our tour guide promised us that we would get some local food, but we didn't. Breakfast was the same every day, omelet with sausage and baked beans from the cane. Furthermore, there was no choice of dishes, the food was served to us randomly. It seems like the communication between our guide and the chef is not working.

Very nice and clean hotel, conveniently located close to bikini beach. Its beautiful terrace allows you to eat with a view of the sea. The kindness and helpfulness of the staff and their ability to meet our needs and fulfil our wishes made our stay at Vilu Thari Inn perfect. The staff is operative and always ready to help you discover the paradises of nature, above and below the water. Highly recommended.

Breakfast on the 3rd floor with great ocean view. Large range of excursions. Snorkeling equipment avaible for guests. Location near shops and bikini beach.

The staff was attentive and kind. The offered tours are great, and these guys did an amazing job. Thanks to them and the excellent restaurant Flame around the corner, we had some great experiences. The prices for meals at the Flame are a third of what you pay in the hotel restaurant. We wouldn't book this hotel again.

The hotel is running down in contrast to the pictures. An unfinished building stands close to the hotel. Our room had water damage some time ago and was foul smelling. When we got the invoice on our last day, the management insisted on paying a booking.com commission. In the end, we had to involve booking as there was no understanding from the hotel management.

The exceptional staff, including Gayan's attentive service, the Chef's culinary expertise, and Fruity's cultural insights, truly enhanced our stay. The three-course dinners in the half board option were a highlight, offering a delightful experience amid the scenic views from the restaurant. The beach was beautiful with white sand and coral reefs.

The rooms were on the smaller side, but meeting our needs. The limited number of sunbeds was a downside, requiring waking up early morning to secure a spot. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was a bit slow, videos are hard to watch. The tours seemed a tad pricey, but might be worth if staying longer.

What an amazing stay at this Inn. Couldn't find even one little thing that I disliked. Excellent communication with people working there. Everyone was polite, understanding, and helpful. Transport from the airport was arranged promptly even though our plane was late. The food was exceptional. All the facilities are very clean. Couldn't find anything wrong with the place. I would like to thank all of the people working there. Even though I do not remember the names, I would like to thank each of them for the unforgettable experience. If we would be so lucky to visit beautiful Maldives again, we would definitely choose the same Inn. Thank you 😊

The guest house is very nice, rooms are clean, food is very good, bikini beach is super close, reef reacheable in a few meters, and in particular staff is incredibly amazing! We did 4 excursions (sandbank, manta point, deserted island, sunset fishing) and we can just suggest you to do the same!

Mahibadhoo Island unforunately, as all the other islands as we understood, suffer the issue of being dirty.

Nothing, only thing I could moan about is the WiFi could be slightly intermittent and that’s only because we had to stream a live lesson for my son, small price to pay for this beautiful place. Food here is also very good too. 👌

Genuinely friendly staff, answered all our questions, helped us explore the island, arranged a great whale shark snorkelling trip just for my family. Hotel food was the best we had in the Maldives. Hotel was very very clean (all the places we stayed in Maldives were clean). Island had an amazing house reef if you are a competent swimmer, also good for paddle boarding. Just brilliant place to go.

The management of the facility and the rooms furniture was uncomfortable at all.

We really enjoyed the time at Vilu Thari. Very friendly staff (the best staff crew we ever had). It felt like being at home and not at a hotel. The tour guide Ayya really loves his job and he is breathing to organize excursions that leave the people speechless. Whalesharks, dolphins, turtles, snorkeling and finish. We did it all The food was really good. The Maledivian breakfast is amazing and the Lobster was delicious!

The beds were a little bit too short for taller people like me. And the internet connection could be better, especially if people want to work from the paradise that Maldives actually is :)

I’d like to thank all the staff Vilu Thari Inn Maldives. We were impressed with the service and the attitude towards guests throughout the entire period of stay from the first meeting with flowers and sincere smiles to the warm farewell. Special thanks to the guide Ayya. He helped organize our leisure all days, showed with the beauty of the island Mahibadhoo and other places. Ayya very interesting told about the life of the Maldivians, their culture. Moreover, Ayya made wonderful videos and photos on various excursions and walks. This vacation I will never forget. 😍🤩☀️ Special thanks to the chef. Every evening we got aesthetic and taste pleasure from dinner. Our wishes were always taken into account, and even prepared dishes that are not on the menu 😍🤩☀️ For the breakfast there are 3 options: Maldivian breakfast, a continental breakfast, pancakes with chocolate and fruits 🥰 10 days in the Maldives passed perfectly. Viluthari Hotel is the best one you can find in Mahibadhoo Island. The quality/price is fare and stuff is kind and helpful with you. There is a very beautiful terrace where you have all the sea view and where they serve a good breakfast. On top of the hotel there is yacuzzi (but you have to pay 50 euros to use it for 2 hours maximum). Rooms have comfortable beds and they clean it very well. I recomend this hotel if you travel to this Island. It is not a resort as you may expect so they do not organize anything fun at night. It is actually very calm and quite.

I didn't like the Island's policy. The first thing that they tell you at check in, is that you cannot wear your bikini in the public beaches (there is only one provided for turist) and that when you walk in the street you have to cover shoulders and legs. You cannot use your normal short dresses with 35 degrees. Maldives really disappointed me in this sense, because we should not be forced to do something that is not usual in our culture. When muslim people come to our Countries we do not tell them to take their burkas out and behave like us. Because we respect all the culture. People look at you in a bad way and they make you feel uncomfortable, like if you were an alien or something. There are no parties, no alcohol is sold in the shops, and only 3 restaurants to eat. For me it has been a very boring holiday and personally I am not coming back to this country ever again. Plus everything is super expensive (all excursions go from 70 to 120 dollars). If I had known these things before I would have never come here. When I arrived in Male I went to the beach and I was going to wear my normal bikini and all the muslim girls that were going to the water with their burkas start to scream at me that it is prohibited to do it. I answered that I was not naked, but they forced me to go to the water with my long dress and got all wet for 2 hours when I went out of the sea. For me this is really a shame and I think someone should seriously do something about it. Halla prayers are spread out 5 or 6 times per day in all squares from 05.00 in the morning till afteroon. I think it is really too much to accept. P.s. such a beauty and wealth in the end of the wrong people. I Think many of you think the same.

the staff are extremly helpful and friendly. The rooms are small but neat. This is a basic hotel-so no frills and fanciness.

The entrance and surroundings are not very clean and tidy. So around the hotel there is construction, rubble, and litter. The beach is a few minutes away, however tourists wishing to use a bathing costume can only swim in a small section of the area. Visiting the rest of the beach area means one has to cover up and respect the local Islamic customs.

If I could give more than 10 I will Stay at Viluthari is like staying with old friends they are always ready to laugh and have a little chat with you the rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the food is delicious and the chef please any our request outside the menu (even for last minutes dessert 😋) the Island is beautiful, you will find a smile in any person you’ll meet on the street, and is so nice to have the possibility to speak and learn about the lives of the local person my suggestion? come when it’s your birthday you will receive a wonderful surprise 😍 thanks again to all the guys we’ll going to miss everything

I absolutely love this place, as I was coming as a solo traveler, I was pretty tense about how the holidays will go, but as soon as I got here, I felt peaceful, excited, and definitely well taken care of by the whole team. I loved everything from the check-in to the room to the breakfast, meals, restaurant, the whole island, the cheerful locals, the scenery, the beach, literally everything. The food was excellent, I devoured every bite of it, I shall thank Gayan, Asari, and Azzam for the amazing service and for their support regarding the whole trip. Special thanks to Aya, who made me feel at home, and made sure I was happy and enjoying every second of the trip, and the little tours on the island. Last but not least, The manager Aafef is the sweetest host, he made sure I was comfortable and went the extra mile to make the journey memorable. Thank you once again Villu Thari inn team, I will definitely miss you and the whole island.
