Reviewed Sep 10, 2026De eigenaar was ontzettend vriendelijk en gaf tips over de omgeving. Hij is laagdrempelig te bereiken. Je kon ook onbeperkt kraanwater gebruiken en koffie of thee pakken. Super leuke tuin met mooie hygiënche kamers!

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026The location was great. It was very close to the Night Market but it was quiet so we were very happy about that. The host was nice and helpful. The bed was comfortable.
The bathroom could be cleaner and the room could use more light. In the pictures the room seems way brighter than it is in reality. We still had a nice stay tho :)).

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026De prijs-kwaliteit is uitstekend en je krijgt wat je daarvoor mag verwachten: eenvoud en hygiëne. Wij voelden ons er prima. Vanuit hier kan alles georganiseerd worden mbt taxi, bezoek aan Erawan, etc. Dat verloopt allemaal keurig en de prijzen zijn oké. Wij huurden fietsjes en zijn daarmee naar de brug en begraafplaats gefietst. De supermarkt ligt om de hoek.
Een gezellige lounge was een meerwaarde geweest, als guesthouse zijnde. Het was fijn geweest om daar bv. te kunnen ontbijten voorafgaand aan een lange rit naar Erawan of de tempels in de omgeving.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026Thai Guesthouse is een kleine accomodatie midden in Kanchanaburi. De kamers waren ruim en goed; de bedden ook. Op het plaatsje voor de kamers kun je koffie en thee / water pakken en kun je ook even rustig zitten. De accomodatie biedt ook scooterverhuur, fietsverhuur en zelfs autoverhuur aan. De eigenaar is ook altijd bereid om te helpen met het boeken van excursies en het vinden van een goed restaurant. Het Guesthouse biedt geen maaltijden, maar er zijn restaurantjes genoeg en ook is de supermarkt om de hoek.

Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und hatten immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen. Die Atmosphäre war ruhig, authentisch und genau das, was wir uns für unseren Aufenthalt gewünscht haben. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können das Thai Guesthouse Familien und allen, die das echte Thailand erleben möchten, wärmstens empfehlen.

As always, the host was super friendly, helpful, and always there whenever we needed anything. The location is really convenient—it's within walking distance of the train station, supermarkets, and plenty of restaurants, so everything is easy to get to. We had another great stay and will definitely be back again, especially with our big family. I highly recommend Thai Guesthouse to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay with amazing hospitality!

Reviewed Jul 1, 2026Krásné ubytování, pohodlné, čisté, blízko nádraží, 7-elevenu, dobrých restaurací a trhů a asi 10 min chůze od Mostu přes řeku Kvai. Dobrá poloha pro brzký výlet na vodopády Erawan faals taxíkem, pak jsme se nechali dovézt do Krasae a odtud jsme jeli vlakem přes železnici smrti. Doporučuji vyjet v 7:00, byli jsme na vodopádech prvni Ubytovatel byl moc milý, zajistil nám taxi a poslední den nám prodloužil check out.

Reviewed Apr 23, 2026Una casa preciosa, con habitaciones básicas, pero cómodas. El anfitrión era majísimo y te ayuda con lo que necesites. Además ofrece tours por la zona y nos llevó de vuelta a la estación de buses el último día :)
La mayoria de loss enchufes de la habitación no iban, necesitarías un adaptador. La zona está llena de "bares", aunque nosotras fuimos en época baja y no había mucha gente. Igualmente, la casa está al final de un callejón así que no es molesto para dormir.

Reviewed Mar 23, 2026Man muss sich bei der Buchung im Klaren sein, es ist ein Guesthouse, kein Hotel. Eine gewisse Einfachheit ist zu erwarten. Man muss darüber hinwegsehen, dass das Zimmer nicht täglich gereinigt wird. Ich habe die Zeit dort genossen, jederzeit konnte man sich einen Kaffee oder Tee machen und sich mit anderen Gästen unterhalten. Nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß vom Bahnhof entfernt. Freundlicher, hilfsbereiter Besitzer. Frühstück gibt's um die Ecke beim Bruder.
Dass ich erst Duschgel (Luxus) kaufen musste (Seife war aber vorhanden). Aber da der Supermarkt lediglich 2 Minuten vom Guesthaus entfernt war, Kaufte ich auch gleich Moskitospray, insofern ist das nur ein halber "Minuspunkt" ;-)

Reviewed Mar 10, 2026Very friendly staff especially Nicky he was very knowledgeable on local services. The guesthouse is basic but has everything you will need or they can point you in the right place. We stayed upstairs in the veranda room and it was pleasant to sit early morning or late at night. We loaned the bicycles to get around which was fab. Tea coffee and water is available and there are many shops bars restaurants close by.
Don’t stay here if you’re expecting a 5star room with all mod cons you will be disappointed. However the hospitality and friendly atmosphere is there in abundance.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2025La guest house est bien située, on peu faire énormément de chose a pieds. Le propriétaire est habitué a organiser des excursions. Service de laudry. Pas de petits déjeuner, mais a disposition vaisselle et de quoi vous faire the et café à toute heure. La terrasse est agréable.
Notre chambre manquait de luminosité et de confort, mais on ne peut pas vraiment raler au vu du prix.

Bathroom was a bit disappointing, bad odours from somewhere and low water pressure. Also very basic. Curtains were not dark.. and light kept disturbing sleep. Didn't like the white lights in the room. Would have preferred yellow.
