Heerlijke rustige locatie, waar weinig toeristen zijn. De warung op loopafstand heeft heerlijk eten voor een lage prijs.

Kamers waren op het oog schoon. Alleen nadat we een kakkerlak moesten weghalen en wat kasten hadden verschoven, kwamen we uitwerpselen tegen van andere dieren

The room was very basic, but clean. The beach was covered in rubbish.

La propriétaire très disponible et répond rapidement via la messagerie Booking. Toujours de bons conseils, on a aussi pris le mangrove tour en passant par elle. Endroit très calme, très chill. Convient parfaitement aux personnes recherchant a se reposer. Coup de coeur sur le restaurant Thaï pas très loin qu'elle vous conseillera sûrement, très bon et pas cher.

Loin de tout, on est tombé sur des jours fériés ce qui n'a pas aidé. Grab obligatoire.

The room was spacious with good air conditioning. The bathroom was basic but very clean with a western style toilet. The property is in a quiet neighbourhood surrounded by a few small hotels and good eating options. The property is right on the beach and swimming is possible at high tide.

Beautiful beach, garden, nature, nice staff and a lot of great food nearby.

ubytování není vůbec pohodlné, špatně se reguluje klimatizace, okna jsou zamřížovaná, vybavení postarší, personál nemluví anglicky. Z nějakého nepochopitelného důvodu netekla jeden večer vůbec voda – nikdo se neobtěžoval tuto informaci sdělit, museli jsme jí zjistit od sousedů, kteří nás navedli k zahradní sprše.

Lage am Strand und nicht allzuweit von Restaurants und Markt (feines Essen!). Bequemes Bett, Häuschen relativ geräumig, Klimaanlage gut.

Zuwenig Aufhängefläche, verrostete Trocknungsstangen ausserhalb des Hauses, kaum Ablagefläche im Badezimmer. Alles sehr basic, nicht wirklich gemütlich. Der Zimmerservice war lausig: 1 x geputzt in 6 Tagen und 3 x vergessen, Wasser und WC-Papier bereitzustellen!

The owner and staff were really friendly. The room was big and comfortable. It was basic, but had everything we needed, and was cleaned during our stay. There was a terrace overlooking the garden and a drying rack. The bed was comfortable. The location was perfect, a minutes walk to the beach, sunbeds and hammocks and an outdoor shower. You could walk to a couple of bars serving food. There were little supermarkets within walking distance and an ATM. You need transport to get to places or use GRAB. It was very peaceful and a great place to relax.

Einfaches Zimmer mit Klimanlage und Kühlschrank, Badezimmer und einer kleinen Terrasse. Die Dusche hat keine Abtrennung, ist aber okay und der Boden trocknet schnell. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, da es für uns völlig ausreichend war. Liegen und Sitzgelegenheiten unter Bäumen im Schatten sind am 30 Meter entfernten Sandstrand vorhanden. Schwimmen ist problemlos möglich. Frühstücken kann man unter anderem im Eagele Eye gegenüber. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter läuft über E-Mail, problemlos und schnell. Wir würden wiederkommen.

The place is very old, smelly and not comfortable.

The garden is nice, price is cheap. Beach front but cannot swim.

After doing check in, no one shows up anymore. Need to ask things only via booking chat. They showed up at the end when was time to check out to ask the money for the extra bed, not really a good attitude. Asked for 2 motorbikes, were not available due to some reason. After insisting were found the last day of stay which was useless. Is far from everything, cannot swim on the beach in front but need to walk 300 meters for a good spot. Breakfast is not provided, need to walk to 2 nearby stays which serve very good breakfast and apparently have much better cottage. Cottage outside is nice, but inside there is not much, bed sheet were not clean and we asked to change them as well as pillows. Bathroom need to be upgraded, if youshower you will make al the bathroom wet. Sink is toy size. Random people shows up at the sunbed area occupying them, no one control and no one clean it, is it safe?

Na pláži pri ubytovaní býva veľký odliv takže do mora treba ísť vedľa ale je to iba 10 minút pešo

Die Lage zum Strand und Meer ist perfekt, Nachts kann perfekt ruhig schlafen, da keine Hunde & keine Moschee in der unmittelbaren Nähe sind. Personal ist freundlich, gereinigt und aufgefüllt wird nur wenn man es wünscht. Roller für 50 Ringit / am Tag ausgeliehen. In der Nähe gibt es viele Restaurants, Cafe, Minimarkt, Tankstelle. Wir hatten zwei Einzelbetten und haben sehr gut geschlafen, bequeme Matratzen & bequeme Kopfkissen.

Man könnte noch mehr Liebe ins Detail stecken, dann wäre es noch besser. Zum Beispiel bequeme Strandliegenauflagen, manchmal ist das Perdonal nur per Whats App erreichbar.

Proximity to beach - it feels like you have your own garden and a the beach is literally a step away from it. Mostly a quiet and peaceful place. The restaurant was also a few steps away from the property.

Sometimes non-residents/random people from the beach walked through the property and used the garden facilities limiting its access to the residents.

Das Häuschen liegt an einem der schönsten Strände der Insel und ist ideal für Menschen, die keine Partys, sondern Ruhe suchen. Wir konnten ruhig schlafen. Nur wenige Meter entfernt frühstückten wir gut im Eagle Eye Resort.

Den Sohn des Hausbesitzers, der sich um alles kümmern sollte, sahen wir nur beim Ankommen, so dass wir noch einen Roller mieten konnten. Sein Vater spricht kein Englisch, so mussten wir stets suchen, bis wir jemanden um Handtücher oder Toilettenpapier bitten konnten.

The vibe was lovely. Hammocks and chairs to relax. It was one minute to the sea so it’s a dream relaxation trip.

We loved the location! The beach nearby had enough chairs to lounge on and even hammocks (although they were under coconut trees that made me a little nervous)

Pillows were too big and hard.

Nice location and facilities were about what we expected.

There were a lot of ants in the bathroom on the first night but when we texted the owners, they promptly came back with ant spray to kill them and keep more ants out. They also came back the next day to sweep up the ants and clean the room again.

Garden and location

No New towels and bed sheets, we stayed 5 nights, no cleaning

Es war grossartig dort. Der Strand ist direkt vor der Haustüre. Bei Flut kann man auch baden, besser man spaziert ein paar 100m den Strand entlang nach Nordost, dort ist es zum Baden richtig gut. Es ist echt wenig los am Strand, teilweise hatten wir ihn für uns alleine. Die Besitzerin Nani war gerade nicht da, sie war aber über Whatsapp immer erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Die Kommunikation war immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Personal spricht nicht so gut Englisch, ist aber total nett und hilfsbereit. In der Umgebung gibt es einige Lokale. Am Freitag gibt es in der Nähe einen spektakulären Nightmarket. Tanjung Rhu Beach ist der schönste der Insel und mit einem Grab-Taxi für 2 Euro in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden die Unterkunft jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

La ubicación al lado de una de las mejores playas de la zona. Lugar muy relajado.

El alojamiento necesita una gran reforma. Las estancias están bastante obsoletas y sucias. La habitación no daba sensación de limpieza y por el tipo de alojamiento necesitaría que se instalasen mosquiteras para que no se colasen insectos de todo tipo. Además, la persona encargada no nos indicó absolutamente nada acerca del alojamiento ni de la zona, tan solo se limitó a darnos las llaves de la habitación. La zona está alejada y sería conveniente que al menos a la llegada, te indicasen donde poder alquilar una moto o simplemente desayunar.

I loved Sunset Bay Cottage and if I were to visit Langkawi again I would definitely stay again. In a gorgeous location, the highlight is the secluded beach area right beside it. It was just perfect for our last week of our honeymoon. It felt like paradise to rock on a hammock reading a book while on the beach looking at the ocean, knowing that I could walk to my room in 2 minutes. The room was nothing fancy but it exactly what I wanted; super clean and very comfortable. You could tell the space is well looked after. The host was very helpful and responsive. There was a technical issue with the air conditioning the first day and the minute I brought it to their attention they moved us to a different room and had it looked at.

I had read online that there were kitchen facilities but I never saw anyone go into the kitchen area, tried the door and it was locked as it looked very dark in there. But it really wasn't an issue as we never asked as we found so many nice cheap food options out. Only pointing out that maybe there's room for improvement to make it more obvious that it is accessible.

Such a good location with close proximity to the beach.

Sehr nette Familie 😊 hat mich sogar später als 10pm eingecheckt, da der Flug aus KL Verspätung hatte und dann auch noch mein Koffer nicht ankam, weil er von Malaysia Airlines wegen des Gepäcks der Iron Man Teilnehmer "offloaded" war. Zimmer sauber, ruhig, Vorhänge verdunkelnd, Bett sehr bequem. Schöner Garten mit exotischen Pflanzen und der Strandabschnitt ist einladend hergerichtet. Die ganze Anlage sehr gut gepflegt! Auch wurde mir ein Taxi zum nächsten Ort organisiert! Vielen Dank - terima kasih 🙏🏻

Perfect location on the beach. Lots of seating options for you to enjoy the beach view from: hammocks, sun beds, tables and chairs. Rooms were nice and very clean (although the bed was quite hard and not much water pressure in shower - the outdoor, cold showers have great water pressure though).

The lovely duplex chalets were set in a secluded garden right next to an almost private beach. The room was large with a big comfy bed, a fridge, and a kettle. This was a perfect getaway. The village was just a short walk away, and there were eating options close by

We enjoyed the outside area, it was very clean with many areas to sit and look out at the ocean. Inside the accommodation was also cleaned well, and it was very quiet at night.

We didn't like that our unit did not seem to match the pictures on the website. Maybe we got an older room. I'm not sure. But the walls were peeling and the door was pretty old. Also the nearby beachside has a lot of rubbish 😔

The location was great, right on the beach. It was very quiet when we were there. There are several very nice eating places near by. The property is very clean and well cared for. It is very basic though, so don’t expect any of the things you’d find at a property with more stars. We really enjoyed our stay and we’d go back again.

The beach could have been cleaner but this isn’t the properties fault, their area was spotless.

Beachfront, calm and great hosts

Super nice people, got a warm welcome with restaurant recommendations. Direct access to the beach and outdoor shower facilities for after the beach. The bungalows had everything we needed, but the island is so amazing not much time spend inside the room anyway.

We researched quite a bit and think this beach is the best place for you if you want a relaxed and laid back beach vacation. And if you want to stay at this beach Sunset Bay Cottage is the best option. The Bungalows are clean and comfortable, the staff has been very helpful and friendly and the beach front location is just spectacular. You will enjoy going swimming in the ocean, relaxing in the shadow, watch colourful birds and of course see the beautiful sunsets. The little Warung nearby is really good and there is a weekly market in town with nice food option (make that daily whilst Ramadan). In February we did not have any problems with mosquitos, the few we saw only came out at dawn.

Somebody stole the hammocks, but they will replace them soon.

The place is right at the beach and has a lovely outdoor area with hammocks and deck chairs. It is a little green and well maintained paradise. It is only a few meters to the next beach where you can swim and there are a few restaurants. The whole area is a lot more relaxed than Cenang beach which I enjoyed a lot.

Great localisation. Just a few steps to the wonderfull beach. This is silent and not crowded place. I recomend for relax!

Especially the bed tilam was not comfortable and should have some renovation. A simple breakfast will be added value. Garden next to beach consider ok & clean，some facilities broken. Beach in front of the garden was not clean as it is public area.

提供給客人的單車破舊和生鏽，剎車失靈。我在中午入住後諮詢過酒店員工是否提供單車，然後在下午五點左右使用他們提供的單車打算外出，我先在酒店裡面試騎，然後發現手剎失靈，在酒店門口摔倒碰傷了小腿，我用紙巾擦拭傷口後，因為當時附近找不到員工（通常他們在中午後就沒員工服務），仔細查看發現單車生鏽厲害，擔心自己傷口會受感染，我聯繫酒店的負責人聯繫解決方法並說因為給單車碰傷了腿，能否提供創可貼止血。其負責人只是對他的單車不能使用表示抱歉，但對我的受傷就不聞不問，隻字不提，並說酒店沒有任何人，提供不了任何幫助。連最基本的人道關懷和幫助都欠奉，其人品人格實在低下。 入住此cottage,一旦發生什麼意外，你只能自求多福，即使這意外是由於酒店提供失控失靈的單車造成的，本就應該酒店付上全部責任。我試圖聯繫當地的旅遊管理部門投訴，但找不到渠道只能作罷。 Stay away from this cottage.(Attached whats app message for reference)

Definitely beach location. Clean room with fridge and kettle. Even as solo traveller I prefer double bed...but none available..but bedding and pillows clean on single. Good temp shower. Outside area to dry wet clothes. Well kept gardens.

Peaceful location by the beach in an undeveloped village-like part of the island. Owners are nice and I felt generally safe. Good wifi.

The room was clean but the bathroom STINKS. Like something had died in the drain. I left early because I couldn’t stand it. Lizards in the bedroom. The proximity to the beach is good but there’s trash everywhere and it’s full of rocks so you cannot swim. I’ve stayed at far better places at half the price.
